The bathroom was clean but could have used some updates. The tile floor was chipped, the ceiling was discolored and uneven, and the toilet was not securely fastened to the floor. The beds were well made, seemed very clean, and mattresses were very comfortable. Carpets seemed newer; both plush and clean. The room was very clean. Hotel staff were very nice. Hallways and breakfast area did not have any heat and it was freezing.

The GM appears to cut a lot of corners to save money. It is fine if you are just using it as a bed for a few nights, while shopping in Kittery. Do not expect it to be a family holiday destination.

While the gentleman that served us was polite you could easily tell this hotel was run down as you entered. In our room you could see the gyprock had be plastered numerous times. and the floors walking through the hall were not level you could feel bulges under your feet. When we turned on the heat the dust that came out was terrible, it definitely […] showed the lack of use and attention by staff and management. We went to breakfast in the morning and there was absolutely no juice in the container nor was any staff around. when I asked for extra toothpaste none was available, despite a sign in a our room saying these toiletries would be available if we needed them. I was very disappointed and I will not rebook there again in the future. I have previously booked in at Ramada's in the past and now I will unlikely wish to book in one of their hotels again in the future. Mehr

Stopped here for one night and it served its purpose wouldn't book again ..there is a big truck stop next door so had to deal with trucks coming and going all night ..room was clean but old lining tv looked to be about 20years old rugs all need replacing and a musty Oder every wear

TV romote did not work Knock on door at 12:30 pm the temp. in hotel at 7:30 was 46 degrees.

overall the service was good. there wasnt many people there and the indoor pool was closed. when i asked why they said it was because business is down in the winter which was a bummer i was looking forward to swimming. staff was very friendly and nice although one of the front desk agents couldnt understand english very well?? :-\

I had thought it would be nice, the breakfast was mostly cereal. I had thought it would be newer/nicer - it was an older hotel. The room was okay, service okay, just not what I had thought it to be.

The hotel is in a good location for outlet shopping. It is within a few minutes by car so for location I have no complaints. The hotel itself is below Ramada standards. I have stayed in a few in the past and each have been much nicer. The pool is closed for the winter so that was a big disappointment. Apparently that is disclosed on the website but […] we didn't notice so read very carefully. The room was not very clean. The bathroom was terrible, the wall above the shower was disgusting. It looked like water damage. The beds were uncomfortable and the floors were dusty. The included breakfast was ok. The cereal selection was better than most hotels in the same price range and there is a waffle maker. It was ok for a one night stay while shopping but no longer. Mehr

Hotel was quiet and handy to outlet shopping and Portsmouth . Irving next store with pizza shop and liquor store. Free breakfast in morning ( juice , coffee , toast, cereal etc. the desk staff were very friendly .

The staff was freindly. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. There was also a small regrigerator in the room which I think is a great ammenity to have. I would have no problem staying there again.

Hotel would not allow a cancellation of the room even know there was a pending major storm. The staff were not friendly, especially the manager. Our initial room stank and the heat did not work. We made a complaint to the manger about the heat and he tried to say it just takes a while to heat up. We had been in the room for an hour and the heater was […] still blowing cold air. He did not move us to another room until we demanded to be moved. The television in the room was approximately 6 to 10 years old and had poor quality picture. The next morning we went for the complimtbreakfast and the temperature of the hallway and the common areas was freezing. It was so cold the milk for the cereal was beginning to freeze. I checked the thermostat and it was turned all the way off with a sticky note that said don't touch. Most of all disappointed with the manager that we delt with. His demeanor was poor and he did not seem to want our stay to be enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. And will never be staying there again. Mehr

It was easy to find and the front desk women Rebecca(i am not sure if that is the proper spelling though) was right on target and very pleasant on the phone and in person. the bed was very comfortable as well. as for the 1970s bathroom sink it was weak at best along with the pressure. thanks though

PROS: Continental Breakfast buffet room was clean, well sized, new and well stocked. Host checked to see if guests were satisfied. Beds, mattresses were new and crisply made. Bathroom had a clean granite sink, fresh new shower curtain, and clean towels available in abundance. People at front desk were courteous. The maid called Service to replace a […] light bulb, and the job was done within 4 minutes of her reporting it. CONS: Walk in hallway revealed dust on radiators. The hotel was a basic facility that looked tired, but was a comfortable place to stay. There was no night life within walking distance, and no entertainment features within the facility. It was a good place to rest; a landing spot/base to explore the nearby areas. Located a lift bridge away from New Hampshire had the potential to be a problem (not many […] alternate paths), but it did not impact our travels at all during our stay. Mehr

Our service was horrible! Our room was disgusting! We've stayed here b4 and had a fabulous room and service ... This time I reserved a non-smoking room and got a smoking room when I asked to switch rooms they wanted to charge me 45.00!!! I said no way but still ended up paying 20.00 to switch! That is still unreal if you ask me ... I'll NEVER stay here […] again!! Mehr

very loud plumbing and could hear lots of noises from people just walking above us and in hallway....etc....otherwise location was great and breakfast was very good also

good value! everything seemed brand spanking new! Staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants, etc. The surrounding neighborhood was odd, but seemed safe and was convenient.

The hotel was older and had made an attempt at updating, however there was a strong lingering smell of smoke, it was dank and musty, not a pleasant experience for the money charged. On a positive note the breakfast was good.

Very nice staff! The hotel was twice as far away from attractions as advertised on hotels.com. room was pretty clean, except oil stains on headboard. The pool was nice and clean too!

Overall the hotel was pleasant. Very close to the Kittery Outlet malls which is very convenient and a short drive away from Portsmouth, New Hampshire where the best dining selections were. We were granted early check-in, the room was ready and clean. Could be updated a little bit, mainly the tubs and showers but served our purposes. Stayed three nights […] and everyday the room was cleaned, towels replaced and garbage taken. I would recommend to individuals going to the outlet malls. A big plus was the complimentary continental breakfast. Fresh fruit, cereal, baked goods, bread, English muffins. You can make your own waffles, good juice and a great start to the day. Mehr

This is the second time we've visited this hotel - like that they offer Smoking rooms, that the location is convenient for local travel and that there is a truck stop convenience store right next door. The hotel is a bit rundown but well kept. The fridge in our room froze everything we put into it, no matter how low we turned the inside dial. The shower […] pressure in the bathroom was good (a pet peeve of mine). There was a loud humming in our room that took a bit away from the quiet, and we couldn't figure out if it was coming from the fridge or something else in the room. Ramada Kittery is really close to the shopping at the outlet malls, to the York Beach and downtown Portsmouth. In addition to its central position, breakfast is great. Most importantly, it is affordable
