für Durchreisende super geeignet, durchaus auch für mehrere Nächte.

Hotel war leider nicht wie erwartet sehr schön, es lag direkt an der Straße, den Lärm hörte man deshalb wie bei allen anderen Hotels auch, Zimmer hellhörig, aber wo sind sie das schon nicht, wenn der Zimmernachbar den TV auf Lautstärke 10 dreht. Zimmer war unheimlich klein und älter als es auf den Fotos gewirkt hatte. Es stank etwas im Zimmer aber nicht […] nach Rauch. Man konnte aber etwas Lüften. Zimmer wirkte allgemein etwas schmuddelig. Gratis-Frühstück war ok. Gut war, dass es abends noch Getränke und frische Kekse an der Lobby gab. Restaurants in der Nähe. Für eine Nacht auszuhalten. Mehr

Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of ammenities like hair dryer, coffee pot, ironing board, etc. Only problem was in the morning we picked up a box of Dunkin Munchkins that we had placed on the floor the night before. When I looked in the box it was FULL of sugar ants. This was probably not the hotel's problem due to the time of year, etc. […] I showed the front desk staff first thing in the morning and they immediately refunded the price of the room. I would say that is much better service than most. I would definitely stay here again, but be careful about leaving out food. Mehr

Initial reactions were positive. Close to what we wanted, convenient. Room was smallish but clean, recently renovated very comfortable. HOWEVER, huge gap around door in the doorway. Thus if anyone talked (or yelled - irritating children) you heard EVERYTHING!!! VERY disruptive to sleep at 7 am on a Sunday when children are yelling in the hallway. Nice clean rooms and so convenient to the Higher Ground music venue. Free breakfast and warm cookies in the evening are a bonus.

good deal ,great hotel

first time ever in Burlington Vermont ...After a long drive from Toronto it was so nice to be in the windjammer,the staff were very helpful & very accomadating to our needs..we loved it so much we decided to stay an exrta night.If ever we are back in Vermont we will make the Windjammer are first choice of a place to stay.

I only spent one night there, but the hotel was clean and comfortable to stay in. I would go there again - would be good for a family visit too.

The hotel room had a very strong antiseptic or soapy smell when we opened the door. I guess we got used to it because the next AM I no longer noticed the smell. On price I thought it was just a little overpriced.

Location is fantastic. Holiday Inn Express, Doubletree, Comfort Inn, and Sheraton Hotels are all within 1/2 mile of the Best Western Windjammer. However, they all charge more than 15% higher rates. Best Western Windjammer was the best value for a hotel in which someone only spends 8 or 9 hours in at most. The hotel was good, the restaurant was good including service even though it was very busy. The shuttle was waiting for us ontime and was quick (both ways). I was just dissappointed that when I called, I was quoted a different price than when I got there. Still worth it though

Way better than a 1 star , I stayed there for a 6am out of BTV, free shuttle was ready to go at 4:45. Excellent Windjammer restaurant on site, very busy, lots of locals, not just a hotel restaurant . I will be back

Great location to shops, main roads. The service was good, people nice. My only negative comment is the hotel needs some updating. The rooms are badly worn - although comfortable beds. But everything was clean, reasonable prices for the season.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable and inexpensive. The location was perfect. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, and many things to do within a mile or two. The hotel offered several amenities (refrigerator, pool, breakfast) that aren't even standard for more expensive hotels, so I'm not sure why this hotel […] only has a one-star rating. My only problem was that the toilet occasionally ran, and the walls were somewhat thin. However, I have stayed in four-star hotels with the same issues, so I wasn't bothered. Mehr

The was a barking dog all night. People talked outside very late in the night. The room is stuffy and small. The outside pool is very nice and the inside pool looks like a spa.

Great value and location. No hassles or complications in booking room at last minute. Room was clean and hotel was convenient to Waterfront venue and Burlington Center

This is way better than a 1 star hotel. Expecations were low due to star rating, but staff is friendly, hotel is clean, restaurant at hotel is great.

A quick overnight business stay turned out to be fantastic: both an indoor and an outdoor pool at my disposal...outdoor pool was spacious and clean, towel service available, and easy access from the rooms. Many fantastic restaurants and shopping are a very short distance from the hotel, as well as the Windjammer restaurant on the premise. The Bestwestern Windjammer was a great place to stay. Located to all major attractions in Burlington including the Vermont Teddy Bear factory, Downtown Burlington (shops & nightlife), as well as lake champlain. The rehearsal dinner to the wedding we were attending was at the Windjammer & the food & service at the restaurant was excellant.
