I was that hotel for two days to see my daughter, who is attending a school in anaheim, CA. Before we stayed in that hotel, we had stayed in a rent-house for some days. Very nice property. Hotels free breakfast buffet was great to start the day. Had a nice variety of foods and changed daily. Very easy access to the Anaheim shuttle service to Disneyland although the route the hotel was on is very busy. Great for families with plenty of room, and a full kitchen for days when you just dont feel like restraunt food... […] all buildingas are 2 stories so there wasnt any need to wait around for elevators or climb tons of steps to get to the rooms after a long day at disneyland. beds were very hard, but no hotel beds are ever perfect... overall our experience with this hotel was great. Disneyland was open 24 hours, but we chose to get a good nights sleep instead. Our room at Residents Inn Main Gate was beyond my expectations. I love Marriot for the comfortable beds, and clean rooms, but a loft, fireplace and full kitchen was a surprise. Next Disney trip I will use the kitchen more, and eat out less. i love that I can leave a shopping […] list at the front desk and have groceries waiting. An easy 10 minute walk to the Disneyland parks, adequate continental plus breakfast, housekeeping was great. Found our suite to be dated with water stains on couch and chair such that we didnt want to use them. Overall adequate but next time we will likely stay elsewhere.

We needed a large room for 3 teenaged granddaughters and grandpa and grandma. Hard to find close to Disneyland, but this one fit the bill and was as reasonably priced as we could find. It was quite large with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a queen pullout in the living room. We appreciated the convenience of the full breakfast, although some […] mornings there was not enough room in the dining area. A bit of a hassle to have to pay for the shuttle service to Disneyland, but the walk wasn't bad as we were all adults. Wouldn't want to do it with young children. Mehr

The Residence Inn Marriott Anaheim Maingate is a reasonably priced hotel that includes a free breakfast (including make your own waffles, eggs, sausage) and free parking for hotel guests. There's a $4 round trip shuttle to Disneyland, or you can walk to Disney or California Adventure, as we did both days (about 15 minutes). It was clean and the staff […] was helpful. There's a pool and our kids played basketball on the court. The room included a full kitchen, toaster, refrigerator, etc. The only (slight) downside was that the queensize bed and the sofa bed are essentially in the same room, (unless you shell out for a true suite) so no privacy for parents, and there's only one TV, oriented towards the sofabed. But we were so tired after 11 hours in the park that we just crashed anyway! Mehr

The hotel is nice, within walking distance to Disneyland. Our room was spacious and clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was OK....always packed with people, they dont keep up with the food availbale. Seating gets tricky, as the tables are always full. One more thing - every morning there was an chinese looking lady […] with a black pony tail...she would literally hoard food (example, 10 bananas) into tupperware and put in a white bag and exit..To my amasement, on our 4th morning, 2 of the employees called her by name (Rosa) as she "exited" with her groceries. Maybe thats why they have trouble keeping the breakfast buffet stocked with food!!! The day we checked out, we left 1 sweater and hat on the sofa inside the room by accident...about 4 hours later we returned and the front desk had it in a plastic bag. loved the location - near the garden walk but far enough away for quietness. i rented 3 rooms here for a convention. very happy with the service. we had over 15 packages delivered to the hotel and they were kind enough to put it in my room before i arrived. breakfast was nice - a bit chaotic but it was the half marathon and convention. cannot complain […] for free. love the ample parking and free wifi - that saves us over $60 a day versus other hotels that charge for that for those number of rooms. We stayed here for 2 nights to do Disneyland and California Adventure. Should have stayed 3 nights. Accommodation was great, pool available and really kid friendly. The guest laundry was a god send as we were running low on clean clothes by then.

Not really a hotel but a grouping of small apartments in the one complex, the Marriott is convenient to the I5 Freeway. It is an easy walk to Disneyland and California Adventure, as well as having a good collection of family restaurants just across the road. The rooms are very clean but a little old. Nice hotel and good location! :) Maybe a fifteen minue walk to the main gate but they also have a shuttle that comes by every 20 minutes. The Garden Grove is right next door as well and it was great place to go to get some dinner, see a movie or go bowling. :)

The staff were excellent on arrival and very helpful during our entire stay. It is ideal for families, the little kitchen area is perfect and the beds are almost TOO comfortable we slept so well we had to rush to get to breakfast before it finished. It only takes about 15 min to walk to Disneyland by the time you wait and catch the bus you can walk […] there. A great place thank to all the staff, we will return. Mehr

This resort style accommodation (well spaced bungalows rather than a single building), is close to the Disney Parks, convenient to a range of restaurants etc. Would recommend if you want a casual, clean and central place to stay in Anaheim. Pretty good buffet breakfast included.

Yes it was clean and near Disneyland resort. But the suit was too small for a family of 4, originally told that we would have a 2 queen size bed but when we got there they said it was one queen bed and one pull over bed. At the breakfast time, when the trays were mepty, they would not fill them up right away ( We were there 2 hours before the serving […] time ends) There is charges for shuttle to disneyland $4 per person!!! WIth close proximity to Disneyland, a decent buffet breakfast, kitchen amenities for cooking our own meals and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff, we would recommend this hotel. I hate having to say that we found one mini cockroach in the kitchen and 4 earwigs in the bathroom on our 5 day, 4 night stay. We hope the staff made an effort to rid […] of the little creatures. Great hotel; clean, comfy and with a full kitchen. I only wish they had king sized beds and the shuttle to disneyland was free but everything was great.

I mistakenly reserved a "studio" suite rather than the one-bedroom suite that I wanted. The hotel was jam packed and the front desk representative said that because I had pre-paid, I would be unable to use those funds toward an upgrade. In addition, there were no upgrades available. I asked to speak with the hotel manager, who quickly informed me that […] he would see if he could move some things around to make it work for us. He found something immediately and only charged us a nominal amount to move to another room. We were very appreciative. Mehr

Great location for resting after a long day at Disneyland. Good breakfast buffet.

The lady at the front desk during check in and out was very helpful and provided great advice on where to eat,, how to get to & from Disney, and ensuring we knew about all the hotel facilities. I would not hesitatwe to stay there again. Thanks.

The outside appearance of the hotel was great, however the room was very small. Bathroom was very small. The walk way around the stair case was small which made it hard to get luggage into the room. Parking was limited around the room so we made several trips to the car to get all of our luggage into the room. We loved this hotel simply because our one bedroom hotel was spacious for our family of four (including 3 and a 2 year old.) Our one bedroom included two queen beds and a pull out couch plus full kitchen. The hotel location has easy access to park with a shuttle bus (operated by the City of Anaheim.) Like any shuttle bus, there is always some waiting […] involved as I did not find the schedule to be accurate. As far as the condition of the room, it had recently been renovated and had granite kitchen and bathroom counters and new carpet. On the down side, the pull out sofa was really dingy. It had stains and some holes in the fabric and looked like it had been put through the ringer. The walls also were outdated-- they looked like they had been painted at least a half dozen times. The room was clean though and we had fresh linens everyday and out housekeeper did a great job keeping it clean. The breakfast that was included in the rate was below average. Very unhealthy options like powdered eggs, white flour pancakes and waffles and processed sausage and ham. No fresh fruit or whole wheat options. Coffee was not good either. The line to get a seat at breakfast is also very hectic, has the feel of a soup kitchen versus a dining experience. People load up on so much food, it kind of grossed me out. YUCK! The other negative is that the location is near the freeway next to a Motel 6 with some less than desirable clientale. The pool was tiny and very busy but my toddler enjoyed the on site playground in the corner of the property...I think she had more fun here than at Disneyland. Overall this is a good hotel for those traveling 4 plus. I highly recommend spending a little extra on the one bedroom because you get a much larger living space. If we were not traveling with children, we would skip this hotel and opt for a luxury room but because of the space we give it a thumbs up and if you eat healthy, bring your own breakfast! This is the perfect place to stay with a family! I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast each morning was a huge plus traveling with 2 young children. The location was within walking distance of Disneyland and a short drive to other theme parks and attractions. This is a great family hotel next to Disneyland. It is within walking (about 10 minute walk) but we took the shuttle because we knew we would be tired after the park. The kids actually requested to leave Disneyland so we could go back to the hotel. Loved the breakfast, but you will have to be patient as it is crowded in the morning. A very family friendly destination. We walked to Disney from here and avoided the shuttle. Our 2 and 4 year old boys liked the spacious room and kiddie pool and we drove to Target to get supplies and food to cook in the full kitchen which helped save us some money. I recommend strongly.

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant. The hotel is located a few blocks from Disneyland. It was great that breakfast was provided and that there was no parking fee at the hotel.

We thought that this hotel would be ok because it was a Marriott. I must say that it was not up to Marriott standards at all..... We have stayed in Residence Inn's before but this one was terrible. Very dirty. The carpet in the bathroom was so sticky that our socks would stick to it and we found several bugs, some of which I have no idea what kind of […] bugs they were. There was hair on the bathroom floor, and hair stuck on the bathroom door. After our first night my son broke out in a rash after waking up from sleeping on the pull out sofa. The star rating for this hotel should be a 2. Mehr

I will never stay anywhere else when we go to Disneyland. Everything was perfect from checking to having breakfast and checking out. It is perfect for all families!!!!

This was an awesome suite, my family really enjoyed all the immenities! We will definately be staying here again in the future!

We stayed in this place for a week. comfortable place, close to Disneyland. Full Kitchen in the apartment available, Laundry in the hotel very convenient. definitely recommended for family. I loved my stay at this hotel. You can't beat the breakfast there. It is so nice to have a great, easy breakfast for the kids before spending the day at Disneyland. It made the day go easier. The staff helping out all were very nice and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I really loved the visit. The room was really nice because it has a […] kitchen to cook meals if you so choose. Also the beds are separated from the main sitting area so mom and dad could put the kids to bed and spend some time together without bothering the kids. The only complaint I have is that it is very easy to accidentally order adult movies on the television. My 4 year old almost made an order. You can have the front desk block those but I didn't know that before. Other than that, I can't complain about the hotel at all. We just loved it and I will always go there when I take my kids to disneyland. Mehr
