I had booked 2 queens and sofa suite through hotels.com. We tried to get there early and check-in and was told our room wasn't ready, no problem dropped our stuff and came back later...was told when we check in that we were getting a 1 king and sofa suite...what?...after telling them we had booked the 2 queen suite they said there weren't any left. […] but what they can do is give us a regular king room...worked out great we still got two beds and a sofa and a second bathroom if u think about it...good for four guys...and btw, they didn't charge extra...my go to hotel Mehr

This hotel was perfect for our stay. The front desk was so accommodating. We returned late and bought snacks and the desk clerk went to the kitchen and got milk for my children. We also needed more linens for the sofa bed and they were brought up very promptly. Great Service.

If you arrive at night, be prepared to have trouble locating the property, but once you DO find it, you will not regret being there. This is a lovely park-like setting, and a very well kept property.

Very easy to get to and was within shopping, eating and places we needed to be. Room was very nice, clean and newer. Only negative is that they have coin operated laundry and there were only two older washers and dryers on entire side of hotel for four floors to use. But over all very nice and we plan to stay again.

I was skeptical about Homewood Suites Hotel, but I was quickly won over. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. There were apples and newspapers available whenever we wanted. They even had a complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet. We had a great time--even playing on the basketball courts. I only want to start by saying that this hotel was clean. Very hard to find and very hard to get to. Staff at hotel cannot give u directions in fact they cannot even tell u what is around them to give u any kind of land mark. One girl in particular was less than helpful and right out rude. Her name was Bianca. Lots of eye rolling and I am busy and I […] do not have time to listen to your complaints. Our curtains in the bedroom and living area were completely shredded and ask for assistance to have someone to come to our room and fill out a report so I would not be charged for the damages. That seemed to really annoy bianca. Also the shower head was so far up that me being 5'3" i could not adjust it. Also the tub would not drain so while showering u stood in ankle deep of water. Breakfeast was ok. Not big enough for all the people though. Carpet was pretty worn in some areas. Oh and if u are a smoker beware. We reserved our room a month ahead of time and was guranteed a smoking room. It was stated on our reservation. When we got to hotel we were put in non smoking and was told there is only 4 smoking rooms in the whole hotel and 2 of them were ocuppied by long term guests. So I would say stay at staybridge suites. larger rooms, more up 2 date, friendly staff and great breakfeast. Mehr

While the room was adequate, considering the daily rate I paid, the breakfast buffet was a joke. No coffee, sparse food choices, poor quality of what was available. I would've expected as much from a place the charged about 1/2 of what I paid. For that reason, I would neither stay, nor would I recommend anyone else stay there.

We stayed here one night a couple weekends ago during a short jaunt down from Dallas and were very pleasantly surprised by this location. There are nearly full kitchens in every room, big flat panel TVs in the living room and bedroom, and cozy, comfy beds. The room was very clean. Breakfast was the best free breakfast bar I've ever had - all the food […] was fresh, hot and tasty - no crusty, lukewarm eggs or stale bagels like I usually experience during business travel. My only complaint is that the wireless internet was a bit spotty - sometimes very slow. But overall, for the rate we snagged here, we were very happy with our stay. Mehr

There were a lot of banging doors throughout the night. It might have been all of the kids in town for a soccer event though. The last time I stayed at this hotel I did not notice the doors, but it was also summer and we had the AC running. The room was nice. The breakfast was 'okay'. Good enough for free, but the food was cold and we had to take it […] to our rooms to heat it up in the microwave. Our stay at Homewood Suites was my wife's second time. She noted that the accommodations and service were great on both visits. The room was clean and the amenities were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast. We also like the proximity to all of Austin with easy on and off the freeway.

Clean Hotel with big rooms and full kitchen, safe area just 20 min top downtown Austin, 20 minutes from round rock and 15 min from Hills area . Fuel Shell station 24h in front of the hotel, with Burger King and a pub just 2 minutes walking. The area seemed safe to me even if the Fuel station in the night let you use only a window with bulletproof glass, […] maybe for previous armed robbery, who knows, but if they are proactive maybe the danger is real, Austin is safe but is always Texas with guns everywhere. The only bad thing is that the Laundry must be paid comparing to another nearby hotel where is free. Dinner is good but a bit limited in choices, no coke and light beer, only water and dark beer. Breakfast is ok, classic bacon eggs juice and milk offer. Free coffee and hot chocolate/tea sachets night and day. Mehr
