Hotel im Boutique-Style - alle Zimmer individuell gestaltet - aufmerksames Personal, aüßerst angenehme Umgebung, aufmerksames Personal, gutes Frühstück ! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut in In Ordnung.Im Nov.-Dez. 2011 zum 3. Mal mit einer mehrköpfigen Gruppe hier - würde jederzeit wiederkommen. JOE- Bergführer- Starnberg

Das Hotel hat kolonialen Charm. Wer es gerne ohne viel Aufhebens hat, der ist zufrieden. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmte in meinem Fall nur, weil ich durch die Reservation über Hotels.com 40% Rabatt auf den Normalpreis erhielt. Unique hat dem dem alteingesessenen Hotel nur eine oberflächlieche Renovation verpasst. Die einfachverglasten Fenster […] schliessen nur notdürftig, im Zimmer gibt es keinerlei Teppich, die Badewanne ist immer noch die alte. Der Frühstückservice war am Sonntagmorgen um 9.30 heillos überfordert. Hingegen war die Kullanz gross, als ich um 16h die zweite Nacht infolge der Aschenwolke stornieren musste. Mehr

PERSONAL immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Waescheservice war nicht immer gut, nicht genuegend Handtuecher. Extra Service fuer meinen Dackel mit Teppich und Futternapfe. Wuerde ich auf jeden Fall weiterentfernen

Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mit freundlichem Service. Schönes Decor, sehr gute Lage in Recoleta. Trotzdem einige Pünkte, die besser sein könnten: -Die 2 Aufzüge sind unglaublig alt und sehr klein. Ich war 5 Nächte im Hotel und jeden Tag hat ein Aufzug eine neue Panne gehabt. Nicht empfehlenswert für alte oder behinderte Gäste. -Sehr schlechte […] Isolierung. Man hört alles, was in den anderen Zimmern geschieht. -Der Frühstück war nicht besonders beeindruckend. Marriott is much better option. If you can rough it for one or two days then it is convenient to Recoleta attractions and Recoca area restaurants. This is definitely a budget scale hotel with a misleading name.

Room was clean and styled nicely! Great location right next to city central and in fancy neighborhood. Staff was ok. Breakfast capasity was far from ok, every morning almost everything was out most of the time. There were not enough space for people to eat on, so there were lines waiting. No free Wlan!

Small but stylish hotel on a quiet street in a top neighbourhood. The room was modern and spacious. The staff were very helpful and reception staff spoke english. The only thing that I would recommend would be double -glazing for the rooms on the street front, as there was some traffic noise from the nighbouring streets, but even that was not bad by […] BA standards. Great location!

I was able to get this at half price booking online. This was my third time in BA and 4th hotel. Great location on the edge of Recoleta, about 5 blocks from the Cemetery. Very safe, nice neighborhood of fine restaurants, stores, embassies. Room was very nice, beautiful furniture, great windows that you could open, gorgeous. Super comfortable bed, nice […] sheets, pillows (although they store the pillows in the closet, didn't discover that until Day 2!). Occasional noise from the hallway but not overly annoying. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, eggs (rarity in BA), cheese, croissants, a great spread. The only reason I didn't give this deserving hotel a 5 is the lack of free wifi, even in the lobby. They have one computer hard wired with a 15 minute limit. That was kind of a pain, however I noticed that you couldn't clear the data, even clearing history didn't do it so I never put in passwords and couldn't access email. They had wifi available for purchase at $14 USD a day which is a bit extravagant these days. Only wish was to have free wifi in the lobby, other than that a great hotel for the money. Mehr

The Unique Luxury Park Plaza hotel in Buenos Aires is located in the nicest and most elegant neighborhood of that city. Breakfast is very nice. Staff very helpful and kind.

Very good location, service not so good, maintenance is very bad and cleanliness as well. don't expect much but if you are not going to spend too mucho time in your room is a good option for a good price. wouldn't pay more than $100 use for a night.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff work at this perfect location in the nicest, safest part of town. Although clean, the rooms are a bit older and could use some upgrading. The breakfast is limited and the "free" tango show that comes with the package isn't really free, it provides free cover charge, but you must buy drinks. Wonderful cafes can be found within […] a couple of blocks, so skip the breakfast and the tango show, and your stay at the Unique hotel will be perfect! Mehr

The neighborhood is great - walkable to recoleta and subway stop. Rooms are clean and comfortable, modern conveniences, safe, etc. Breakfast buffet was great (they had eggs!) The staff is ok - not overly enthusiastic in terms of helping extra, but they did speak English. If you get the hotel on the 50% off deal, it is a perfect bargain...for full […] price Im not sure. Also if you are coming in from an international flight that gets in early they will NOT let you check in early, although they will let you leave bags (and there is. Bathroom for bird baths:) ) Mehr

I loved our stay there. But don't trust 100% in the recepcionists. They indicate one city tour that really was terrible(they delayed, don't did all the stops and the stops were very quick, they only are interested in your money, the tour of 4 hours was made in 3)... Although weren't their(hotel recepcionists) fault, just 2 blocks there was bus stop […] for city tour much better, that supports more than 8 languages and you can use the entire day(and is a little cheap), but they didn't advised us. Another thing, we had right of one tango show - and they said that it is a crap, and offered other much more expensive. We decided to see the ("crap")show and it was amazing! Another sort complain was the internet in the lobby, that was frequently down. But everything else was great, and this hotel rocks! Mehr

This is unfortunately the 2nd time I've stayed in this hotel. I went back because my boss had already paid for the room and we couldn't change the reservation. The hotel and rooms have a very nice classic decoration. But it lacks maintenance in very basic things... for example, the doors have an electronic magnet card (just like any modern decent hotel), […] but the card readers in the doors of the rooms have so little maintenance that it might take you 20 or 50 times to open the door of your own room... in many cases the guests have to go down to the lobby and ask someone to go with them and help them open the doors. The elevators don't have automatic doors, so if one guest forget to close the elevator door in their floor you are stuck to go up or down using the stairs!!!! If you buy the internet password (it is not included in most rates), be careful to keep it in a safe place. If the cleaning maids find it (I left mine in the night stand) they will "clean" it and then you are forced to buy a new password! Mehr

surly staff when i checked in, ancient tiny lift that takes ages to turn up, water flooded down the stairs then when i got to my room there was a pubic hair on the bathroom floor, a greasy black hair in the bedsheets, stains on the scatter cushions and marks on the sheets themselves...really didn't want to sleep in the bed but had little choice. hotel […] staff were helpful when I needed to get to the airport / print my boarding pass but overall I would stay somewhere else. Our hotel was overbooked and we were moved to another hotel at a greater distance to the airport. Very disppointed.

We've now stayed in the Park Plaza on at least 4 occasions. Other than once when we arrived very late and they sold our "guaranteed" reservation, we've had nothing but great experiences. Room service would be a welcome addition and there always seems to be some nearby hammering going on, but it's very affordable especially when done via hotels.com and […] the mellow but central location is unbeatable. Definite value and we'll stay there again and again unless conditions decline. Mehr

Rooms are refurbsihed and modern. Lifts are antiques. Good locations

Good location (Parera and Alvear in Recoleta) but the hotel has no facilities at all. Also I had to pay for WiFi. I got a 'discounted' superior double. It was big enough but did not have a decent view or any nice features really. I certainly wouldn't have paid full price. Room uncarpeted (laminated) and the bed didn't have proper pillows (black cushions). […] Bed otherwise large and comfortable. Bathroom small but OK. Powerful shower over bath. Breakfast was not great (buffet style). I didn't bother going for it after the first 2 attempts. The 'orange juice' tastes of plastic. Very limited cereals. Two anaemic looking types of corn flakes and a bowl of bran dust! Seriously? Poor quality cheese and ham - no fresh egg options, just a bucket of congealed scrambled egg. There is a cafe next door... PS On each table in the breakfast area is a card telling you not to leave any valuables as it is not the hotel's fault if they get nicked. A depressing start to the day. When I first saw it I was hoping it would be the eggs cooked to order menu! Having said all that I may stay there again due to convenient location - but will consider outher options first. Mehr

Stopped by the hotel a day prior to our check-in date to check out the area and hotel. Confirmed our reservation. The next day we checked in at 11:30 am and was told that check-in was not until 3 pm. We had hoped to check-in early, but knew that it was a gamble. We left our bags and stayed in the general area until 2:30 pm when we again went back to […] the hotel to check-in. We were told that they did not have a room for us and they would place us in another hotel nearby. We told them that we had made the reservation early and paid for it and confirmed our reservation and wanted to stay there. They told us they could not accomodate us and they would put us in another comparable hotel. We noticed that they were checking other people in and I questioned them on this stating that I came all the way from the U.S. to stay there and surely they could place someone else who didn't have to travel so far into the other hotel. I also told them the the following night we had reservations at a hotel within 2 blocks of there and that was a major reason why we chose their hotel. They did not budge and sent us to another hotel which was in our opinion inferior. We would highly recommend that you choose another hotel that honors their reservation confirmations. We really liked the location, appearance and everything else we saw however when one is traveling in a far away location and is new to a strange city, you don't want to be left somewhere you didn't intend to be. By the way the other hotel was a very long distance away from the area we were in and was in a poorer section of town. We were very disappointed. Mehr

Although the hotel had a traditional charm, it was very poorly maintained.There was mold in the bathroom, electric fixtures with exposed live wires in the bathroom, walls that were dirty, elevators that didn't work (and with only 2 old, very small elevators and one and even two didn't work at any given time), staff that weren't helpful, it was a real […] disappointment. Comfortable hotel, excellent location, and extremely helpful and congenial front desk staff. they really could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Negatives were a mediocre breakfast and lack of fitness room, (but free access to nearby gym is offered), and quirky elevator. Good value if you get an online discount. Overall I had a great stay here and the breakfast, whilst being basic, was adequate. The room was clean but there was some mould around the top corners in the bathroom. I was disappointed to have to pay $14 for wifi access but this was for 12 hours so if you are careful it can last a couple of days or more. Located in Recoleta which is the best area in Buenos Aires. You feel very safe every night walking back to the hotel.

Our stay at the Park Plaza Unique in Buenos Aires was in fact “unique,” the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel overall is very charming and quaint, particularly the lobby, which also had access to the internet. The bathrooms could have been a little better, but all in all sufficient. This was a great Hotel at affordable price and safe location.

Good location at the edge of upscale neighborhood convenient walk to parks and restaurants. Our room had two floors uniquely decorated and spacious though the view was limited to the apartments across the street and a few roof tops. The tiny elevator was vintage charming wood but it took two trips to take all the luggage. Service was very good. The […] one computer available was heavily trafficked with no apparent time limit. this hotel was ok for geographic emplacement and reception very good but needs a lot of refections like bathrooms and carpets in rooms are very durty a coquerel un the bath escalators always broken or jammed

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to offer support. The location was perfect. We could easily walk to most areas that interested us. The accommodations were comfortable. The room was small but adequate. The breakfast offered a good assortment. The coffee was the only disappointment. We appreciated the hotel's willingness […] to watch our baggage for several days as we went off traveling even though we were not going to stay at the hotel when we returned. this hotel is located in the best neighood in Recoleta. We can walk to the Cementerio. There is a Cafe next door where you can get great lunches and quick suppers. The elevators do not fonction well all the time as the air conditioning in our room. All the hotels in the neighborhood seem to be 5 stars and the Park Plaza does not look like more than […] a 3 stars by comparaison. Mehr

This hotel is nice, but the location is excellent; it is in one of the safest neighborhoods in BsAs, just a few blocks to the famous Recoletta cemetary, the museum of fine art, the Colon theater, and an easy walk to the microcentro. Expect pretty much the minimum level of service, standard rooms, and a breakfast that's not too fancy. Overall I'd say […] this was a very good value for the money and I'd stay here again. Mehr
