Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DFW North - Irving

Had a demand to post credit card for "possible" additional charges and was told they included phone calls (doesn't every one have cell phones these days) and "theft" . Complied to not lose room. three days later fing a $25 "hold" still oncard after check out (which showed no additional charges)

Free shuttle service is awesome, but unfortunately I cannot find any shopping mall around the hotel. But on the whole, Great !

Waited 35 minutes for a shuttle. Got attitude at the front desk. Freeway and door slamming noise all night long. Awful.

Very nice facility. I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and appreciated the convenient location. Definitely will stay at this hotel when traveling from DFW airport.

This place was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and great setup. The breakfast was always hot and fresh. The staff were very helpful and acommodating. The location is close to the airport and you can also easily get to downtown.

The customer service was HORRIBLE and the hotel was outdated. We have stayed at some nice Holiday Inn Express locations. This one was disappointing.

I was very pleased with the hotel. We went a night to attend Holiday in The Park at Six Flags and the location was not far from there. I would definately book again in the near future! Breakfast buffet was a plus and was free and there was plenty to choose from!

Overall experience was great loved the room size and the whole atmosphere

This hotel was older but really nice. Very nice room and very clean. Good rates and great convenient location, especially if you had to fly in or out of Dallas. Front desk staff was courteous as well. Would recommend to a friend, and would definitely stay there again.

Great stay and a great room. Very comfortable and quiet area. Service was extremely nice and a wonderful time.

The TV was broken in our room. other than take, it was just fine.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff and a clean room. The TV was old and small with 2 remotes required.

The hotel itself was nice, however we had problems with our keys the three days we spent, they didn't open our door. The pool area needed to be swept and the pool need to be cleaned, the water seemed very milky in color. The room was clean, however, the drain cover in the shower was broken, it was bent into the drain itself. On our last night, we had […] an infiltration of bugs around the inside of the window and up and across the wall. This hotel was not up to the usual high standards of Hoilday Inn. Mehr

Older motel in the middle of a lot of construction

The only reason this hotel got marked down was for the poor A/C unit. At it's lowest setting the room only got down to a balmy 78 degrees... Not good with many kids in the middle of the summer! We called the front desk and they offered to move us, which would have been great but two of our kids were asleep and weren't feeling good. We opted to stay […] in the room for the rest of the night and it ended up getting better. Other than the A/C, the room was giant and very well kept, we'd stay there again, maybe the A/C will be fixed next time. Also, we never heard any of the airplanes flying over to the airport, and DFW is a very busy one!! So, you'll get a good nights sleep here for sure! Mehr

if you are using the airport, this hotel is very close. ALso, it was very close to shopping, i.e., Grapevine Mills. Probably not the most modern hotel but well enough kept and they allowed us to have an hour later check out so that we could check out after worship services on Sunday and not rush or stress.

Have stayed in the hotel twice and will stay again when I come to races at TMS. Room are large, easy to get around without steppping over furniture. Easy to get from race track to hotel and back. The food at morning breakfast is very good.

Hotel was nice, room was good sized with fridge and microwave, which was convenient. Breakfast was pretty good, too. The area lacks restaurants if you are on foot like myself, but overall a nice place to stay.

The room was bigger than expected. Very nice! Plently of space to move around and work on the laptop we brought. Pretty quiet except for a few guests in the hallway in the early morning hours. Usual stuff and they quieted down rather quickly. Overall I can recommend this hotel. They also have a shuttle from and to the DFW airport. We arrived around 10PM and had to get to the airport about 10 am the next morning. This hotel was perfect for our needs. If you are looking to stay in Dallas and see sights, shopping or restaurants this is not the place for you. Check in was simple and the room was quite nice. I regularly chose to stay at Holiday Inn Express because they have almost always met my expectations.

Great hotel and priced very reasonable. Location was close to malls, theatres and restaurants. Size of room was a plus. Definately will stay again!

We only stayed for one night, but we were able to get a 2 bed suite for a very reasonable price last minute. Upon check in the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and courteous. He explained the details of our reservation, local entertainment nearby (there is a mall just a couple miles down the hwy). The room was very clean and comfortable especially […] being so close to the airport, I never heard a thing. The complimentary breakfast was great. It is a whole lot better than what previous hotels had served that we visited earlier that week. The only down side is that there is only one entrance to the building, so if you get a back room expect to carry all your luggage quite a ways to get to your room. Mehr

Beds and pillows are soft and comfy. Unfortunately, there were a lot of unsupervised young kids running the halls (cheer and football club), but that's not really the hotel's fault, it's the parents. The room seemed clean, but we were short on bars of soap (usually you get one for the sink and one for the shower) and the lotion bottle was half empty […] like it hadn't been replaced after the last guest. Not much within walking distance except a Whataburger at a gas station down the street. We took a cab 4 or 5 miles to grab a steak. Hotel shuttle was a little slow in picking us up from the airport, but it was free, so it's fine. Mehr

The young man who checked us out on Sunday was pleasant, polite and helpful. Sadly, the rest of the staff at the check in counter were exactly the opposite-cold, almost rude and in no way welcoming. At one point my husband went down to change $100 bill and was treated as if this were criminal! Our TV remote would not turn the TV on or off-sound was […] terrible. Room was great! Front desk person has too many responsibilities! She was trying to keep track of breakfast buffet which was less than expected -- lots of carbs, only fruit was bananas, no eggs. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get meeting room open. Lunch orders which had been confirmed the night before somehow "disappeared" and had to be reordered and […] therefore late. The hotel was nice and clean, the room was quite roomy and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good and plenty of food to go around. Would stay again next time in the area.

We are very happy with the Holiday Inn Express DWF North. It's very convenient, 2 miles to airport. Very clean hotel, rooms are spacious. No complain at all!

This hotel is great!! The location is excellent for all major shopping. Additionally, the hotel room is clean, spacious, and the bathroom shower and tub is separate. A feature when traveling with children.
