I'm usually not very picky about where I stay, but this place was completely underwhelming. The pictures were misleading and the breakfast was a waffle machine and cereal. It wasn't terrible, just not what I expected. Also, nothing in the area, unless you have a car, so don't expect to have a lot going on.

rooms were convenient but outdated and musty smell

For shopping, dining and country western dancing it's nice to stay in town overnight and the rooms are comfortable and the hotel is very well built with very large windows and black-out curtains. They have a beautiful pool and spa. You can walk to great shopping, UA baseball games, miles of park paths, an exciting zoo, a beautiful public golf course […] and great food is right next door. It's a short drive to anything else. Best centrally located /priced hotel in town in my opinion. My only complaint: the hallways could use new carpet. Plan on staying there again. Mehr

I was in town to catch a U of A basketball game and stayed here for one night. It might not have the best amenities, newest furniture, or fanciest decor, but for a one night stay it was perfect. Quiet, great price, short drive to campus.

Randolph Park Hotel is a charming, classic American hotel. The staff is friendly and responsive. Overall, the building, grounds, and rooms are clean, comfortable, quietly elegant, and well-maintained. However, modern conveniences are somewhat lacking. It is extremely difficult to pick up the wifi anywhere but the immediate vicinity of the lobby, for […] example. Also, the list of available TV channels is unusually limited for a hotel: no HBO, no ESPN, etc. I enjoyed my one night at Randolph Park, but would have grown frustrated with the technological shortcomings if I had stayed longer. Definitely dated with alot of general wear and signs of use. That being said, you get what you pay for and the rate was good compared to other hotels in town. The room seemed generally clean. The neighborhood is a bit iffy but our stay was pretty smooth. Good for a cheap stay with our mountain bikes.

This hotel missed all of the simple things. Fridge did not work, hot tub did not work, alarm clock did not work, no pen and writing pad, did NOT replenish shampoo and soap each day, gave me only one new towel a day and usually had tears and not fully white. VERY outdated and NOT upkept, worst place I have stayed in the past 12 months and I travel at […] least twice a month for work. The hotel has off odors through-out. The perfumed over mildew was nauseating and it change from reception to room to hallways. The room was "clean", ie, newer carpeting, but the paint in the bathrooms covering over wallpaper and the moldy-mildewy smell through out was un acceptable for any hotel that is properly cleaned and managed. The hotel was okay. Expected a little more modern from picture shown on hotels.com. Also one bad thing was walls were very very thin. Could hear everything. It was decent though for our trip. Also felt a little wierd when lady at breakfast was looking at us strangely and as we were leaving asked me to see our room key and what number we were in. One of a kind, not a chain, so it is unique. Fabulous breakfast included (fruit, waffles, cereal, beverages). Lovely pool in a courtyard, laundry on premises works great. Easy parking. And across the parking lot from Old Pueblo Grille, a totally fantastic and reasonably priced restaurant; the outdoor terrace is delightful in good weather. Not a very good breakfast, so if you love your breakfast at the hotel, don't stay. Otherwise ok hotel.

The hotel is within sight of the Tennis Center where the USTA National Tournament is held. The location is the only positive thing about the hotel. The bed and bathroom was clean enough to not scare me off, but the worn carpet was so dirty that a walk across the room in white socks, had them stained black on the bottom. When we pulled up I was a little skeptical. When we went inside, PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!! Staff was wonderful!! Room was CLEAN & COOL!!!! Very roomy! They need to do something with the pigeons hanging around the pool and balconies. Gross!

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at thru Hotels.com The room was not clean. They did not serve a full breakfast. The cantina has been closed for 3 years. I found the personel to be unconcerned about the conditions and needs of there guests. It needs alot of TLC...... I would not stay there again nor would I recomend it to any one else.

There is only A/C in the hallways of the 1st floor. The beverage vending machines on the 2nd and 3rd floors were out of order. The A/C in the room was off when I checked in (it was like a sauna), thank goodness the room cooled down quickly. This place was full of loud obnoxious partying individuals hanging out in the hall ways and slamming doors, even knocking on my door in the middle of the night. YOU WILL GET NO SLEEP!

Very Easy access to places and very comfortable. You need a Social hours.

Great location, next to park with recreational activities and multi-use trail, near to eating places, food stores, etc. Very central to all directions in the valley and near the U of AZ. Older hotel but still ok and pretty clean.

looked at other reviews before staying here and decided to take a chance. was pleasantly surprised upon arrival staff was very friendly and pleasant. only issues others complained about were non exsistant except for no vent fan in bathroom (there is what appears to be an exhaust but you cant control fan) and hotel is an older hotel.found to be clean […] and comfortable. glad i paid the couple extra dollars instead of staying in a chain motel. will visit again Mehr

I was very impressed with this place. It is huge and has a lot of amenities. the breakfast included waffles and they even had a laundromat! The rooms are clean and comfortable and well cared for. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the Presidio area.

Pillows were very uncomfortable. Replacing the pillows would be my recommendation. All else was fine. Thank you

This place is a total dump. It's like being time-teleported back to the 60s. I don't think they've upgraded anything. Worse, they charge a fortune for what you get: a central location in a dump.

In my opinion, I would tell others to avoid staying at this hotel. Several times, there was NO ONE at the front desk to ask for help. The first floor looks directly out on the parking lot, and the drapes do not close completely at night. In the room I was in for the disabled, the bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep all night. It was the […] worst hotel experience I have had in 65 years. Mehr

Our son attends U of A, so we stay at RPH whenever we come to town. It is an older Hotel, but the beds are comfortable and it's clean. The location is good to the University. The bathrooms are starting to show their wear and tear, but again still clean. The fridge was literally falling out of the hole it was in! Some general maintenance would be good. […] We had a room off the pool this time. My favorite spot in the Hotel. It'sstill way better than many other budget Hotels in Tucson. Try it! Mehr

Hotel was well located in Tucson...easy to get to by car. It is an older property, but very clean. The bathrooms definitely need to be updated, but, again, they were clean with great water pressure and lots of hot! For the price which included a simple continental breakfast, you couldn't beat it! This is an older hotel but the rooms were pretty clean and spacious. Some noise by people coming and going through the gate at night, but overall not a bad experience. We would stay there again.

Hotel was clean and service was great. The only thing I would change is the the continental breakfast was not available until about 7:30 am. We were long gone by then.

Hotel is older but clean. Close to U of A and affordable. Free breakfast and excepts pets. Room was good, but ask for extra pillows and blankets. My room had a small fridge microwave and coffee maker. Has cable tv but no espn or any other sports channel. I would have like at least ESPN to watch highlights of Oregons OT win! Bed was very firm. dirties hotel i have ever stayed in. stuff all over wall and ceiling. didnt make our beds after "cleaning" it one day. you can tell they do not vaccum under the beds. all of the hotel is outdated and ran down.

This was our second stay at the Randolph Park. A good place at a very good price.

The last time we stayed here, the breakfast was great (pancakes, eggs, bacon, everything). The reason we stayed here again was because of that breakfast. Well this time it was only cereal, bread, coffee and juice. Definately not worth the money that we paid for the room for it not to have the same breakfast as last time.

We stayed recently for a Nationals USTA Tennis tournament. The convenience of location to the tennis faciltiy and to an outstanding restaurant next door were winners for us. We parked the car for the weekend and walked everywhere!

The hotel is a little worn, but okay for the price we paid. There was a musty odor in the hallway, but not in the room. Breakfast was okay, not great. We were very disappointed that ESPN was not available. We wanted to watch the highlights from the football game that we had just attended.

an older hotel but comfortable enough. great for the price paid and was very close to campus. would stay again in the future.
