für Durchreisende super geeignet, durchaus auch für mehrere Nächte.
Lage
Holiday Inn Express South Burlington in South Burlington ist auf Geschäftsreisende ausgerichtet. dieses Hotel liegt in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Burlington Country Club und Pine Street Art Works. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung sind: University of Vermont und Church Street.

"Good value"
A five to ten minute drive from downtown Burlington, the Holiday Inn Express is a good value. The indoor pool, hot tub, and saunas are nice in winter. In a few years I think the hotel will need a makeover as the rooms are starting to look a little dated. A couple of cons: the sheets were a little worn (though the bed and pillows were comfortable) and […] we were put in a handicapped room - felt a little like a hospital to have all of those bars etc. in the bathroom. "Nice Hotel"
Not much to say we were there for black friday so we didn't stay at the hotel for long. But the only thing I would say would have been a problem if at all is that the awesome hot tub is way too hot but other than that I really liked the place. I enjoyed staying there and would stay there again.

"Holiday Inn Express South Burlington - good choice"
We went for a ice hockey tounament and this as close to all 4 rinks in use. It was clean, had friendly service and provided a hearty breakfast all at a good price. It was a good choice for our team travel.
"Nice Hotel"
Nice hotel to stay at, a few minutes drive to downtown Burlington, the room was clean, there is a pool in the hotel if you like to swim. Not much to do in the general walking area of the hotel, but the lake is very close, and if you don't mind driving most things you would want to do are just a short drive away.

the plumbing was the worst toilet not flushing, the shower not totally working and the sink not draining and hard to turn on

The staff were very professional, great customer service. Location was good, near restaurants, room was clean and comfortable, even though the shower drain was slow in draining the water, your standing showering with water up to your ankles. Breakfast was great I would recommend this hotel.

We went to holiday inn express as we have many great experiences in other locations. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The room was basic and clean, The food at breakfast was so bad that we would not eat there the next day even though it was free. The eggs were rubbery plastic, there was no margarine, only butter, no fruit, only bananas […] and oranges, no whole wheat options. the yogurts were a quarter of the size. Basically, it was an insult. The pool did not seem clean, so we opted not to go back in a second time. We will not go back to this hotel. Mehr
Was disappointed with the hotel. Was traveling with children and arrived at hotel to find the pool was closed. They did offer the holiday inn pool at a different location but wasn't as convenient. Overall was a good value for the money and was in a great location for places to eat and shop. However was charged extra for a microwave they never provided. Also had trouble with the toliet that they never fixed. They did have a very good breakfast. I would say the minor problems were made up by the location and the beds. The hotel staff were super friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Lots of available parking and the breakfast was great. Free wireless and the use of a computer downstairs meant that I could leave my laptop at home. The a/c unit was loud, but we quickly discovered that leaving it on when we were out meant that we could […] turn it off when we returned in the evening. My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel during our short visit to Burlington. In general, the hotel was what I expected and didn't have any major complaints. On the plus side, the room was well kept and there was a good buffet breakfast. Although it is located a little out of downtown, it is located on route 7 which is convenient to get in and out […] of town. There was plenty of parking and restaurants close by. "Shelburne HI Express: pool needs work"
we were very pleased overall, but the one glaring problem was a pool that needed updating...the lining was coming apart from the actual pool at the stairs, making for a lumpy and grimy appearance.

"nice stay"
This hotel is located well and very nice to stay at. The breakfast in the morning is always good. The jacuzzi is never working and the pool liner is wrinkled, overall though, I will stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the air conditioning system. It was very loud every time it would start.
"It was a Bed"
It was a room and a clean bed to sleep in. Unlike other Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in, this one was older and outdated. Compared to what you would pay at other hotels in the area, I may go back. But I was not impressed and will likely pay a little more to stay elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though.

Stayed here for a 3 day getaway over Labor Day Weekend. First time to Burlington and overall had a very positive experience. It's not too far from downtown Burlington and the drive is easy and quick. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in giving recommendations when asked, providing directions, things like that. Hotel was clean, loved the pool […] and hot tub- plus saunas and a small fitness center. Breakfast was adequate and coffee and fruit were always available which I really liked. I would recommend staying here, especially if you're looking to save a little money by staying outside of Burlington itself. Mehr

The pool was not that appealing - liner was loose and tearing on the steps and the paint was peeling around the edges. Brown spots where water pooled around it. The hot tub was the same way and it wasn't any warmer than the bath water. The pool nor the hot tub appeared to be too clean. In addition the hotel lobby smelled of smoke as did the rooms even […] though the hotel was suppose to be smoke free. One room was worse than the other however. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean otherwise. Very few restaurants in the area and no coffee shops open after 09:00 pm. Mehr

"not worth what we paid"
Room was stuffy and windows could not be opened. Asked for room with windows that could be opened but was told none existed yet our friends had one. Mattresses were good. Beds clean. Pool needs serious maintenance: painting and new liner. Water was clean. Breakfast is OK, no more. Way too expansive.

This hotel is very close to downtown Burlington, however it is discusting. The staff was very friendly...our air conditioner in our room did not work and they sent someone up right away, and moved our room...though they moved us to one even smaller than the one we had before. There was a teen soccer convention happening and the hotel was a complete […] mess. They were loud and filthy and no one really bothered to try and clean up after them. The pool was even worse. the lining on the stairs to get in was coming apart so we were told to "watch our step" and there were wet, dirty towels everywhere. The hot tub water was a strange light brown color and it was barely warm. We gave up on the pool after about 20 minutes. the only saving grace here was that when we called hotels.com to explain, they credited us 1 of our 2 nights no questions asked. booked two double rooms, other party delayed in philadelphia and hotel unable to give a refund for non use of room...this was dissapointing

"Holiday Inn Express in South Burlington -Lake View"
Beds were super comfortable, great pillows. Ample towels in bathroom. Pool, sauna, and exercise room all immaculately clean. Many choices for breakfast, and a sweet Associate keeping all items stocked. Great Location,with many area attractions close by, would stay here again and again.

This hotel is very clean, the room is very comfortable, especially since there are 2 sinks (1 in the bathroom and 1 outside). The staff is very accomodating and responsive. Breakfast is included, and is very good. This is a great place for families. It's the only place we stay when we are in Burlington VT. It's in a great location, close to restaurants […] and shopping. "Good stay"
the only negative thing we have to say is that the heating/cooling unit was very loud! I guess that would be "par for the course" as other hotels we've stayed in also had noisy units. Otherwise all was good. Did not use the pool or gym (gym looked very small)

Only stayed briefly, but everything was great. Quiet, clean room. The check in and out were very quick. The breakfast was surprisingly good!

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was very pleasant. Continental breakfast (included w/ room) had more variety and choice than we expected. Hotel was convenient to downtown Burlington as well as the attractions to the south. Overall, it was a perfect choice for what we needed and where we needed it.

The building is old. You can literally hear people walking in the room above you. You hear when they shower or flush the toilet. You can be part of their conversation. It was impossible to rest during the day. The nights were better because everyone else was sleeping. Be prepared to be awake at 6:00 am when the other guest start preparing for their […] day.
