Was conveniently located to highway. Centrally situated for Augusta, GA and Charleston, SC. Parking good. Awesome breakfast. Was able to eat and get out quickly.

The staff was very nice and I had a very pleasant stay. There was a fraternity staying on the same floor as I was and they were very respectful of the other guests. I plan on staying here again.

It's always a pleasure to stay at an Embassey Suites. The rooms are consistently high quality, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

Convenient, Happy Hour, Good Breakfast!

I loved staying at this hotel. The only thing that bothered me was too much chlorine in the hot tub- it burned my eyes from just sitting in it. But at least I know it was clean!! I also enjoyed the free cocktails and full breakfast that were complimentary.

We drive extra miles to stay here. It is so nice to be able to park after a long drive and not have to go out again. The resturant is really nice, or you can order at the bar and pick it up or have room service. We had the best French Dip sandwiches we have ever had this time. You can get a free snacks and drinks in the evening or free breakfast in […] the morning with eggs specially prepared. The staff is excellent. The large atruim with a fountain gives a luxury feel. It is great to have a door to the bedroom. Everything is CLEAN and well kept. Mehr

Eight members of my family travelled from Philadelphia to move my youngest of four daughters into her freshman dorm at the University of South Carolina. The hotel was beautiful - only 2 miles from campus - and affordable. The huge cooked to order breakfast brunch was perfect for our big crowd and the daily 2 hour complimentary cocktail hour was great […] for all my 20 somethigs. The suites were updated with new furniture and stylish decor. We'll be booking frequently over the next four years!!! Mehr

Excellent hotel, great staff, exceptional breakfast. Only drawback is a lack of dining nearby but, the on-site restauarant is not bad. I'll definitely stay here when in Columbia.

Very nice clean, comfortable, excellent amenities, wonderful breakfast, fantastic. You pay for all this and once in a while you deserve it.

Reserved a non-smoking room and on arrival found I had been assigned a smoking room and that all rooms were booked. Could not go to a different hotel as my luggage had not arrived on Delta with me and I had given that hotel to deliver my bags to. Bad experience but the front desk was cordial about it and they were handling other discontent folks also […] very cordially. Place is nice but eating facilities are understaffed except at breakfast time. Mehr

The ambiance was perfect. Comfort, attention to detail, convenient, and luxury. My entire family enjoyed the stay while I attended business meetings and enjoyed a catered lunch. Definitely will look for more Embassy Suites in the future! Booking on Hotel.com made everything easy and efficient too!

My family and I were very pleased with the accommodations. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and the lobby was filled with tropical gardens that made it very relaxing for all of us. We would recommend this hotel to all...

Stayed there for The Masters. Checked in Friday and out Monday . . . came back Saturday at 7 and my room had not been serviced. let the front desk know and they said they would take care of it, but upon my return from dinner, they had not. So had to wait until Sunday for fresh towels, etc. A big wedding and some other event late into Saturday night […] . . . real noisy and plenty of drunks and bikers hanging out in front - arrived just in time to witness a wedding-goer get carried out and throw up in the bushes. Management seemed pretty overwhelmed. Bright spot were the shuttle drivers both nights - they will take you anywhere and promptly pick you up with a phone call - that was nice. Mehr

We stop here every year on our way to and from FLA. Great rooms ... Breakfast is awesome ... Kids love the pool ... The pizza available via room service is great!

This hotel definitely needs some updates -- seems like it hasn't seen any in a couple decades. Yet, you can still tell that a lot of thought was put in when it was originally built. Suites actually feel like suites (unlike some hotels where a suite is just a hotel room with a fridge, sink, and sofa), the atrium design is quite nice and makes it feel […] like you aren't staying in a hotel. Service was wonderful, breakfast buffet actually had a lot of choices, and I didn't have a chance to go to the manager's reception but that sounded nice. Location was convenient in that it's right off the highway not far from downtown, but there is nothing worthwhile in the immediate neighborhood of the hotel, as far as I could tell. Mehr

great place, great breakfast! we were going from Florida to NC to go skiing, we have 2young kids and my parents traveled with us and it was good for everybody. The best thing- bedroom is separated with a door and the whole unit is very spacios

I would recommend anyone to visit this hotel. A thumbs up.

Came to Columbia to attend concert for Trans Siberian Orchestra, and everything about the visit was fantastic. TSO performed flawlessly and the stay and the hotel added to the experience.

The only problem with the room was the comfort of the bed. The bed was very hard and I had a hard time sleeping. Other than that everything was perfect. Wonderful breakfast, nice surroundings.

Complimentary cocktail service and complimentary breakfast were awesome, a delightful surprise and very much appreciated. Great staff at both. Nice gift shop. Comfortable room. Appreciated the little refrigerator.

great room and breakfast for guest. lots of space in room and very clean. some trash left in the bathroom waste basket from previous guest.

The people at the desk were very helpful and polite. My room was very musty and the room was very worn down.

it was great except that the toilet was inoperational after several calls it still wasnt fixed

The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows! The room was very clean

My room was quiet and the bed was clean and cozy. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
