Stayed there for first time last night. Great desk folks...very helpful. The location was very good, the room, while a good size, had the odor that was strong when I arrived, grew fainter by morning (perhaps I got used to it). The continental breakfast was good. So, for th money, the value was fine. I would not take my wife there for a night on the […] town....but for a good overnight stay on the way to/from or unexpected business night......OK....will iv the hotel another shot soon. Mehr

We really liked the layout of the place. It was like staying in a condo. The fact that there was a kitchen was great, we were able to cook things. All the facilities worked great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. If I stay in Columbia again, I'll stay here. Price was right, too.

Ok room was a studio suite, but lacked the amenities that normally come with a suite and full breakfasts was lacking.

Great hotel for us. Spacious room fit 6 of us comfortably. Only 2 towels in the room for 6 people, but we didn't ask about getting more--probably would have been provided.

Breakfast was not good at all...

We stayed in a king suite the first night...found our room with wet carpets and extremely strong smell of ammonia. The staff was very nice and quickly moved us to another room. The next 3 nights we stayed in the privacy penthouse suite. Both rooms were very worn and outdated, but had good beds and were fairly clean. My husband had N unexpected stay in hospital so i had to find a place to stay quickly. This place has been aport in the storm for me.... friendly staff, clean,pretty,good location.

My room was a non- smoking room, but it reeked of smoke. Hotel is very outdated and needs to be renovated.

The location was great, staff was wonderful, definitely looking forward to the next getaway...

Sofa was very dirty and the room over all looked run down. ED from Ohio.

Peeling paint, stained carpet, damaged furniture.

We like what we viewed online but was disappointed in the suite when we got there. The front desk was staff were courtious. We only stayed one night to sleep but the couch/sofa was old and had a wire spring sticking out two inches someone could get seriously hurt if they didn't see it, the carpet was old with lots of stains, there was only three small […] wine glasses in the cupboard and they were dirty. The beds were just passable to sleep on, old tube style TV, I do not recommend this hotel Mehr

What a nice hotel! I really enjoyed staying there and would recommend it to friends.

Arrived at the hotel and the first room we were assigned, the security lock could be pulled from the door with your fingers. Immediately called front desk to be reassigned a room. Front desk responded quickly and put us in another room where security lock stayed in door, but was very loose. We decided it would be sufficient. Entered bathroom area to […] find dental pick and some foreign object lying on the counter. Wish I would have taken some antibacterial wipes. About half an hour later, loud voices outside of room where two males were having an altercation and alcohol was involved which made me worry more. At this time, I called Hotels.com to get permission to check out the next day and find a new hotel. Hotels.com called front desk, they told them to call back at 8am to speak w/mgr. I called again after 8am and Hotels.com spoke w/mgr and we were given permission to check out. Quickly packed our bags and left hotel. Found another hotel, Residence Inn, and continued our trip with a new found confidence in security. Mehr

This room had a kitchen, but had only one bowl, no spoons, no dishsoap, dirty dishes from previous guest left in the dishwashwer. We were given a Smoking room even though we had requested a Non-smoking room. The hotel staff quickly put us in a Non-smoking room, but attention to detail is certainly lacking. Overall, the hotel was great. It was close to everything we were going to see what we were there, & our room was very clean. My complaint was the pillows are not even standard size, more like travel size. They were also very soft, so there is no head support at all! If you stay there, its best to take your own pillows. Also, I called to request a late […] checkout (@1am) and was told to call back @7am to ask morning shift. If I was going to be up @ 7am, I wouldn't need a late checkout! Mehr

Stayed on our way to Florida one night. Staff was so pleasant, Crystal at the desk and I believe JoAnn too. Easy to find location, In a primearily residential area. We got locked IN our room. Door would not let us exit. I called desk and Crystal sent JoAnn down to get us out. They put us in another room right away. We laughed about it all. And they […] were sooo nice. There was an awesome bean dip for a manager's recption that evening. Breakfast was nice and just everyone employed there was so friendly. Rooms are great little suites for the price of a motel room. This is the best hotel to stay at if you are going to visit the zoo. You are a two minute car ride from the zoo if you get stopped by the stoplight.

Inside was older was than I expected. Lighting was outdated. Was comfortable and affordable.

Hotel room spelled badly--very musty. In fact, a dehumidifier was running in our room when we checked in. The walls are so thin, that we heard every sound from the adjoining rooms. I got maybe an hour of sleep after listening to the people upstairs stomping around until 4am. The front desk staff couldn't care at all about our concerns. This place is old, it is abused, it is worn out. All that being said, it is cheap and if that is your criteria, then have at it. Rooms are "non-smoking" but the 2 rooms I was privy to staying in were both thick with smoke from previous visitors. The kitchens were serviceable as were the desk/office areas. The TV's were small for such large rooms and […] the beds and other furnishings were at the end of their service lives. Again, if you need a cheap place to stay for a few nights and you don't mind a little extra noise, a little funky smell, and a little age on your hotel, this place is fine. Mehr

The hotel close to the college student we were visiting for the week-end, close to the Zoo , shopping and eating places.It was a wonderful stay.

The hotel has poor quality towels, pillows, toiletries, etc. I booked it because it had a kitchen, but there were nothing to pans or utensils. I stay over a long weekend from Friday to Monday. There were parties next to us Friday and Saturday. We have to call security several times, before they showed up. I loved the hotel and the staff was great, except.....my internet connect did not work and they do not have WiFi in the actual complex. They only have WiFi in the main entrance. The staff was friendly and responsive to any request I had. It is rare to find a 2bd/2bath suite in any hotel. But this one had it and at a great price!

This hotel was once a Residence Inn and maintains close to that level of comfort but at a much lower price. The hotel overall has the feel of an apartment complex, which I found quite nice. The rooms are spacious with wonderful beds and with good work stations. There isn't wireless internet except for in the lobby which was a bummer but if you have […] an ethernet cable you'll be fine. Breakfast was better than I expected: Eggs, potatoes, waffle maker and the usual cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Bottom line: At the price I paid I wasn't expecting anything close to what I got. Previously this property was a Marriott Resiedence Inn and it appeared as though much of the individual room fixtures and supplies have not been updated since the conversion. The overall condition was a bit worn, however the staff was all very accomadating. For the price I would recommend it.

It was fairly comfortable for the price. The room was warm and cozy. The only turn off I had was that we found some female underwear hanging up in the closet. After carefully throwing them away we then settled in. Other than that It was very relaxing.

We had a very late arrival of 11:00 PM....desk person very nice and accommodating. Bedding was great...I like a firm mattress. Place was clean and adequate if you wanted to prepare a meal. Nice little breakfast in lobby the next day. On the whole...it was great for the price! I would return again.

I reserved a King Bed room. Upon checking in I was given a double bed room. It was changed for me by the clerk. The furniture was very old and dirty, especially the sofa. The network for computer online access did not work at all. I finally gave up on it. I did not want to change rooms again. Great suites. Nice beautiful area and grounds. Clean and confortable. Easy access to where I needed to go. Staff and cleaning crew exceptional great. They went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were meet. Internet not wireless but was to my satisfaction. Loved the convience of having a kitchen. Food was good. everything was nice for our short stay. we got a studio, it was just right :-)

they did not have enough hot water for showers or even a bath. there was 6 of us and only 1 had a hot shower 1 was ok and the other 4 where cold
