Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 27. Okt. 2012Sehr ordentliches, angenehmes Zimmer und freundlicher Service. Das Haus müsste jedoch mal gründlich gereinigt werden. Für unseren Zweck, Übernachtung auf der Durchreise, gut geeignet.

Die Lautstärke nach vorne war nicht optimal, da die Straße schon recht laut ist. Frühstück ist reichlich und sehr gut für amerikanische Verhältnisse. Das Hotel eignet sich für einen Zwischenstopp am Flughafen. Direkt dort vor Ort Urlaub zu machen, kann man nicht wirklich empfeholen. Insgesamt würde ich die Note 2 geben.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 21. Sep. 2012Das Hotel ist sehr neu und modern eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen über eine durch einen Raumteiler vom Schlafbereich abgetrennte Sitzecke. Die Hamptons sind in ca. 1 Stunde zu erreichen. Insgesamt zu empfehlen.

Im ca. 54 Hektar großen Hoyt Farm Park Preserve in Commack befindet sich eine Nachbildung eines Wigwams der amerikanischen Ureinwohner, der vor der Ankunft der europäischen Kolonisten in ganz Long Island zahlreich zu finden war. Der Wald in diesem Park ist ein Vogelreservat. In Commack selbst befindet sich außerdem die National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame mit Museum. Im Norden der Stadt bietet der Governor Alfred E. Smith / Sunken Meadow State Park einen drei Kilometer langen Strand. Im Winter kann hier auch Langlauf betrieben werden.

Nice stay, only issues: the beds were a little hard, and bedding (duvet) a little over used, also, the cable did not work on most channels, for example, on CNN NBC and main channles, the cable would error and do the 'digital tiling' issue where the other channels would work. "As always a great stay"
I've stayed here a dozen times & every time is great. The rooms are clean & staff are friendly. The only thing was that a very loud couple walking the hall talking @ 3:45am when I was trying to go to sleep but not hotels fault. We didn't make breakfast but times before have been great. Room was small and dark, and the furniture looked dirty. They are in the middle of renovations so hopefully the rooms will be part of the update. I ended up moving to a different hotel. "Everything we needed..."
Very nice hotel. Staff were great, friendly and efficient. We were 2 adults and 3 children in one room so we needed extra towels and pillows, called the front desk and had them in 5 minutes! We checked in late, so this accommadation was at 10pm! Breakfast was good, pool was nice and well maintained, room was clean but a little on the small side for […] a King suite (which is the only reaon I gave comfort of the room a 4). Our stay at the Hampton Inn was exceedingly pleasant. We were visiting friends in the area, and the Inn was a convenient place to recharge ourselves between outings. The room and the hotel were very clean, and the breakfast was outstanding. The Inn is within easy access to shopping, and was next to a wonderful Diner. Hampton Inn is conveniently located to where we needed to be. Easy to reach. Hotel is clean and quiet. Only drawback is the noisy a/c heater unit. Upon arrival I had to wait for a clerk to check me in. No one was at the ready to do it. I presented my credit card for ID and it was immediately swipped without asking even though my room was pre paid so when I asked why I was told it was for incidentals. No mini bar in the room, no Resturant open so what incidentals? At the small convience shop by […] the front desk? I got to the room which looked adequate for a night and found when I tried to turn the TV obit did not work. After some jiggling of wires we got it working. The bed creaked when you moved and you could hear noise from room to room clearly. I heard the bed creaking from the room next door. There was some sort of wrapper on the carpet between the bed and end table. Bed was comfortable if noisy. A bug dropped out of the window shade onto the window sill when I pulled it down. It was old and dead. The shower was good but could have ran hotter. I slept a few hours. I did not use the breakfast. I did have a cup of the coffee in the lobby and it was very good. Standard hotel room, on the nicer side. located back from the parkway so the property has a relaxing feel. There is a mysterious empty lot next door which we used for running the kids around. We spotted some outdoor seating near the pool. There is a sneaky back way to a diner located between the Hotel and the parkway, and a gas station and shopping […] center very close by. Our room was fine, the pool was refreshing, the breakfast was OK featuring bagel station, small danish and muffins, Omelets and sausage in a chafing dish, and one waffle maker. "Very comfortable for business travelers"
I was on Long Island for business and stayed here for one night. It was easy to get to, close to main roads, and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable, and I had a hard time thinking of a service that they didn't have! Pool, fitness center, and a wonderful breakfast included. I was ill during a portion of my stay. The staff was considerate and offered to help in any way they could. My wife and I came up for a funeral for a dear friend. Th Location was excellent (the viewing and service was on Commack Road. Everything was just fine. We were attending a funeral. Only possible change would be to add an additonal chair to the room. Only chair was the professional style desk chair. For the price the Hampton Inns are the best value out there! The Commack Hampton is well run, clean and comfortable with a very friendly staff. The location is fantastic as well.
