Excellent choice. Easy to get to but not right on the major highways so quiet. Room was sparkling clean and spacious. Breakfast was outstanding and had variety. Will stay here again.

Would defiantly return!!!!

We had a good stay at this hotel. Lots of shopping and resturants around the hotel. The night staff was great, the breakfast was really good and different everyday. The only thing that was bad was the hotel pool was not working which made our kids upset but the hotel made a deal with another hotel so it wasn't too bad. One of the best stays in a Long time. Cost per night was exceptional. Very convenient location and staff couldn't have been more pleasing to deal with. In a nut shell, this location has too low of a rating in my view. A four star rating would define its services and would be well deserved.

Basically I brought my daughter and her Friends there for a sleep over. I had a connecting room which I loved. The girls loved the swimming pool, gym, buffet breakfast. The next door shopping area plenty of restaurants. Very happy with are stay.

My only complaint would be the fact that the work out room has a horrible selection on the TV, I need decent cable selection when I work out and you definitely DO NOT HAVE ANY!!!

Yes it needs updating, but still has that old feel of Reading. Best rooms because their so large & room to move. Close to all my family & great weekday breakfast, but have to pay on weekends:{ Overall, its perfect for the 5 of us.

Everything for our stay was excellent. Desk personnel was very nice and informative.. We would recommend your hotels to anyone travelling...

Great hotel for a good value. Comfortable beds.

Loved the hotel, the guy at the front desk (Sean I think?) was super nice and patient w/my 10 yo who liked riding the elevator and making lobby appearances. The room was very spacious, clean and the beds were soooo comfy. Loved it and will stay there again for sure!

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip and It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean. There were so many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Great hotel!

The hotel personnel were all helpful. They even gave me written directions to a nearby church so I could attend Mass Sunday am. My Mom left a jacket in the closet of our room and when I called to see if it was available, housekeeping sent it back right away. Breakfast was very enjoyable, too. I would rate our stay very highly.

While actually in Wyomissing, this hotel was just a few minutes from the VF outlets in Reading, which was the reason for our stay there. The immediate surrounding area has a lot of restaurants (try Austin's - the best potato soup I've ever tasted!) and a nice shopping mall is very closeby also. The breakfast was very tasty. We stayed there three days, […] and the hot selection was different each day (omelets and sausage one day, ham and cheese scrammbled eggs the next, and egg and cheese topped bagels with turkey sausage on the next). They also had the standard selection of cereals, fruits, and danishes, as well as a waffle iron. The rooms were clean and modern. We heard no noise during our stay - nothing from the outside and nothing from any neighboring rooms. We would definitely stay here again if returning to the area. Mehr

When we arrived late at night after driving in a rain storm for miles, we were not greeted with a weloming smile or kind words. The person was all business like and almost to the point of being curt. The beds were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was great. The hotel was very, very busy and seemed very full.

Hotel was a good deal,walking distance to shopping and resturants.The breakfast was good--they changed it up every day.It had more variety than the next Hampton we stayed at on same trip.Staff were helpful and friendly.Our only complaints were:this room was right outside the breakfast area and next to an ice machine--right outside the door(prob. why […] hotels .com sells it) and they only have doubles--no queens.Was convienient to go get breakfast and ice for our cooler ! If you sleep late or light this may not be for you.We asked for a rollaway and they gave us one free--so that was good.Also we were right next to the computer area and bathroom--which does come in handy if you have a few in your party.The other common complaints with all hotels were true--pool too cold and breakfast area too small.But we really did not go there to swim--so no big deal and if people did not camp out in the breakfast area and act like it was their last meal and personal meeting area all would be ok.Would stay there again and would recommend.We used this as a base to go to Hershey Park and Philly--right between them both.Good Deal!!!!! One more thing, my wife is very picky and paticular about hotels and cleanliness so I have to be careful about where we stay---she was ok with this one. Mehr

I'd been to this hotel once before & based on that stay, I returned for this trip. Everything about this place was above average. I'll stay there again on my next visit to the area.

Overall, the hotel was fine. Our room was fine also. the indoor pool was cold. No hot tub which was okay. The only issue we really had with the hotel was while we were there, someone either threw up in the elevator, or managed to spray ice cream (not really sure which) all over the floor and the walls. I went to the desk to report it, but a family right […] in front of me informed the person at the desk. Several hours later, we noticed that it was still not cleaned up. The bathtub did not have any "slip free" strips on it. It was very slippery and I almost fell. The staff suggested we put a bath towel on the floor of the bathtub, which we did, but this is not eliminating the problem. Why don't you use the strips or at least supply a mat. You are putting your company in danger of law suits.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We kept having trouble with our key but they replaced them and sent someone to check that we could get in our room. When the hair dryer died on Sunday getting ready for a family graduation party dinner, the maid let us into another room to finish drying our hair. Breakfast was basic but good.

Our two rooms were great! Stayed 5 nights. Breakfast was terrific and had a new variety from day to day. Loved the gym. Multiple cardio machines and all of them had televisions with headphones provided, plus there were free weights and water. The indoor heated pool was nice as well. One of our rooms was occupied by my very elderly father and the employees […] at the hotel were very accommodating with my special requests. Everything was very clean. This hotel has a lot of attention to detail and I would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again. Mehr

the room was clean and thanks for protection of bed bugs . The breafest was good.

We had accidentally booked a smoking room, and the Hampton Inn gave us a VERY difficult time about switching to a non-smoking room. We have three small children, and I have a history of asthma; so, we really could not stay in a smoking room. It took about an hour for my husband and hotels.com to finally convince them to switch our rooms. Then, on our […] second day, our keys stopped working, so we had to have new keys issued. We have always had good experiences at Hampton Inns, so we were very disappointed that the staff at this hotel chose to be so difficult. The manager never did make an appearance to speak with us. Only needed room for 1 night, but wished I could have stayed longer. A really nice place. Extra comfortable beds and a nice size room. Room came with refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was clean, and towels were plush and plentiful. Hotel is located close to food and shopping. Top notch.

Came into town on a Friday evening to see a nephew's football game and head home on Saturday evening. The front desk staff were kind and efficient. The overall facility and room were very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast on Saturday morning. Overall a very nice hotel and stay.

If you are going to run future Half-Sauer/Half-Kraut Marathons in Wyomissing, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn. It is VERY close to the start/finish line. And it's nice to have the hotel so close especially after finishing 26.2 miles. The staff were very friendly. The chocolate-marshmallow cookies that they prepared every afternoon were delicious. […] And the continental breakfast was very good and well-stocked, unlike another hotel that I stayed at after leaving Wyomissing. If I were to ever have reason to stay in the area again, I would definitely could the Hampton Inn. Mehr
