Very friendly staff upon check-in. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located next to the Maine Mall. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever in Portland.

Enjoyed our stay we where on the 4th floor and had two double beds the room was very very tiny for 2 Mom & 2 11 year girls.

My bf and I checked in at the beggining of Easter week end, we had booked using hotel.com and had asked for early check-in since we drove from Montreal and got there a around 1pm...they were very accomodating! The whole checking in process was the quickest I had ever experienced! The room was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate... Maybe newly […] renovated. The mall is literally a five minute walk away. They serve a hot/cold breakfast till 10am and also serve treats around 5-6pm. They are near every restaurant imaginable and an old port which was very quiet when we visited during the day but the night time party goers live up the place. During our strole at the old port we discoved the shipyard brewing company which offers a tour of their facility and samples of their most popular brews ( we must have drank at least a pint worth in little sampler cups!) the guide was very generous to say the least. The staff was very attentive and always helpful... We had a starter issue with our 1984 Volks Wagon, believe it or not we needed a couple of pushes to get it going and they were always happy to help! Great stay. Rooms good and breakfast fine. Easy to find and close to all that Portland has to offer. And great pool.

This hotel is is walking distance to the mall and eating establisments, along with a short drive to the beach.

We checking in around 11pm. There was no parking available. We went in to ask and the front desk person told us that we could just leave the car where it was - in the entrance turn around. It seems that they offer a park and fly package, but not through hotels.com, and they typically overbook parking. It was frustrating. It was an enjoyable stay. It was too cold in the lobby in the early morning when I wanted to read and have my coffee went up to 3rd floor and sat in hallway. i loved the breakfast and room. I wish you still had Hallmark channel and tvland I was disappointed in that.We would come back and this was my second visit. See u again

Very clean and comfortable. Everyone very nice. Enjoyed stay

I went to the Hampton inn with my 8 year old daughter after Disney on ice. This was the best experience for her. We got back to the hotel at 9:45 and the Maintenance staff was nice enough to open the pool for her, the next morning the kitchen staff helped her make breakfast. I will make it a priority to go back there for a weekend away with my daughter […] again. Mehr

I found this hotel to be nice, clean and friendly. The staff are very courteous and helpful and the hotel is just what I would expect from a Hampton. The price is amazing for the quality of the rooms. I had a nice quiet weekend stay. It is located right across the street from the mall and other shopping in S. Excellent Hotel.One of the best one I stayed at.Highly recomended.

This hotel was a wonderful experience. Having 3 children, one on crutches, they accommodated all of our needs. The hotel was very clean, the pool area was clean, and they provided an excellent breakfast. They even gave us supplies that we had forgotten. We plan to stay here again!

Loved the idea of the hotel across from the mall. We stayed 3 nights andd 4 days. the room a bit small but for the time your are in it, it is okay. Breakfast is great. the only complaint was it was a bit chilly in the hotel itself. Other than that, I would stay there again. We both were looking for a convenient, quiet, comphy, room. except for the new year youngsters, had restful sleep. Enjoyed the jacuzzi, heated pool. Should've done every night. Continental breakfast satisfactory. Didn't shop much Maine Mall located next door as also other mini-malls, so movie theater nearby was great. I had the best stay at this hotel. My first time at a Hampton Inn but definitely not my last. Room was very clean and so comfortable. Shopping was literally across the street and just down the street. My first time to Portland but when I do go back I will be staying at this hotel..Highly Recommend

If you are looking for a place to stay over night with the kids....who always want to go swimming, I don't recommend this place; the pool was green, yuk I had one very sad 8 yro... Aside from that, it is the usual standard hotel, WiFi, Cable TV, Beds. The housekeeping staff who was working on the 1st floor was very nice and polite. However, the night […] staff need to realize there voices travel down the hallway from the lobby, especially on New Year's Eve...I had to shut the hallway door to get some sleep, of course they got the stink eye too. :-) Recommend stay on another floor or at least away from the lobby, ice machine, wash room, etc. I would come back to this hotel again...for it being New Year's Eve, it was weren't any loud parties going on...they even went as far as to place notices in everyone's room, letting them know to keep the noise down to a respectable level... Clean and comfortable room, hot tub could have been cleaner

While not as close as a few other hotels to the actual airport, this place came in handy when my wife flew in during a snowstorm and we did not feel like risking the drive home. We chose the Hampton Inn in Portland because it was reasonably priced, next to the Mall, and within stiking distance of the Old Port. We only had 24 hours, but were able to visit the holiday decorated Victoria Mansion, shop at discount chain Reny's, eat on the floating restaurant DiMillos, and get our party pie at Two Fat Cats bakery. An excellent value, close to shops and hotel shuttle to mall and restaurants. this was the best value I have had in a hotel in a long time. definitely recommend.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Staff was very helpful and the hotel was worth the money. My next stay in Portland will be here again.

I forgot my medication in the frig in the room and called to ask if it could be mailed to me this was on Saturday on Monday I had my meds in the mail at no cost to me even though I offered to pay to have it mailed I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, nice pool and hot-tub area. Right next to the Maine Mall was very helpful for Christmas shopping!

The hotel is located conveniently around all of the desired shopping areas. The rooms are clean and the staff is very polite.

Just stayed there and very pleased. Very nice staff. Permittted very early check in since my flight arrived in morning. Picked me up from airport within only 10 minutes of waiting. The continental breakfast- included omlettes to waffles, to fruit, cereals, etc. etc. The Maine mall you can walk to in about 2 - 3 minutes. I highly recommend this.
