kurzer Fußweg von der Station Shimbashi, man sollte sich aber den Standort auf einer guten Karte sehr genau einprägen! Da es in Tokio keine Straßennamen gibt. Das Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einem die Ruhe, die in Tokyo manchmal benötigt wird. Ablagemöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt, man muss aus dem Koffer leben. Ich kann das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel Horidome Villa liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig: nahe an der Untergrundbahn (Hibya Line), Haltestelle Kodemmacho, und auch nur wenige Minuten von der Bahnstation Shin Nihonbashi (JR). In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich auch diverse Speiselokale und kleine Supermärkte, die z.T. durchgehend geöffnet haben.

Ein nettes kleines Hotel in Tokyo. Alles sehr sauber, die Rezeption spricht gut Englisch, die U-Bahn Station Akasaka liegt gleich gegenüber. Sicherlich, die meisten Zimmerfenster schauen nur auf Häuser gegenüber, aber wer eine schöne Aussicht über Tokio genießen will, geht auf den Tokio Tower, oder das Tokio World Trade Center. Von dem hat man vor allem abends einen spektakulären Blick auf den beleuchteten Tokio Tower. Das Frühstück ist nicht üppig, aber man muss es ja nicht nehmen. Zimmerbezug war erst ab 14 Uhr möglich, insofern kann man sich auf der Anreise ruhig erstmal mit der Tokyo Metro vertraut machen. Gepäck wird gerne schon früher in Verwahrung genommen. In der Tokio Metro gibt es 2 Betreiber. Tokio Metro Line und Toei Line. Meist reicht die Tokio Metro Line aus. Das Tagesticket kostet 710 Yen (2012), und man bekommt es am Automaten. Bildschirm durch berühren aufwecken, "English" antippen und dann "Open Day Ticket" auswählen. Dann wird man gefragt, ob Tokio Metro Line (710) oder beide (1000) Linien. Geld einwerfen (Scheine/Münzen) und das Ticket kommt raus. Die Tickets werden beim Zutritt zu den Gleisen in die Schranke eingeschoben (gelber Schlitz) und nach der Schranke wieder entnommen. Beim Verlassen der U-Bahn das gleiche noch mal. U-Bahn Plan, Stadtpläne, etc. auch in English, Deutsch, etc. gibt es am Flughafen am Info-Schalter kostenlos. Vom Flughafen bis zum Tokioter Metro-Netz erstmal mit einem Schnellzug z.B. von Keisei für 1280 (langsam) oder 2400 (schnell und nur mit Sitzplatzreservierung). Viel Spaß in Tokio!

"Spitzenlage"
Ich habe im schlichteren North Tower des Shinagawa Prince Hotels gewohnt, was mir aber völlig genügte, da ich tagsüber beruflich unterwegs war! Frühes Einschecken (um 11.00 Uhr statt 14.00 Uhr) war grundsätzlich kein Problem - ich mußte nur 10 Minuten warten - und die Lage läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der große Shinagawa Bahnfof mit Shinkansen und […] (z.T."westlichem") Supermarkt erreicht man zu Fuß in 2-3 Min., und buchstäblich vor der Tür befinden sich allerlei Eßlokale. Das Zimmer war natürlich nicht groß aber für japanische Verhältnisse ganz normal. Persönlich hat mir besonders gefallen , daß man trotz Klimaanlage die Fenster aufmachen kann. Mehr

"Alles - außer einer Coin-Laundry"
Dieses riesige Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen (direkt an der Shinkansen- und Airport-Express-Station Shinagawa, die auch ans S- und U-Bahn-Netz angeschlossen ist). Zudem gibt es nahezu alles von Restaurants bis kostenloser Zeitung in der richtigen Sprache. Was es nicht gibt, ist eine Münzwaschanlage, aber das gibt es ja bei den meisten Hotels dieses […] Standards nicht. "Unmittelbare Nähe zum Bahnhof Shinagawa"
Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig am Bahnhof Shinagawa (Direktverbindungen zum Flughafen Narita, in die ganze Stadt und den Großraum Tokio). "Very convenient Shinagawa Prince"
We always stay at the Shinagawa Prince when in Tokyo. The access to the JR station including the Shinkansen and narita express is so convenient and the hotel is overall nice. My only complaint is the room size is pretty small. Also I recommend only taking rooms with 2 beds because the "double" room can barely fit 1 person. The hotel also has a lot to […] do- a movie theater,bowling alley and aquarium are all on the premises. There is also a luggage delivery service on the2nd floor if you are travelling within Japan. "Great For Business Travel"
I stayed in the main tower and the accomadations were very good for the price. A BIG plus for me was the Airport Limousine transport directly to and from Narita as well as the location adjacent to Shinagawa Station. The hotel is convenient and well located for business travel- in addition to being value priced for Tokyo.

"Tsujiki Market"
Overall it was a convienent place to stay with the shinagawa station just across the road. The only disappointment was the internet fee of Yen 100 per 10 mins the computers were slow in starting-up which causes loss of time.

We enjoyed the hotel and it's location. The language barrier was only a minor inconvenience. The staff was accommodating and the quality of service was very good. Great value for money. Room is comfortable. Location is just across train station. Very fast train access to places like Ginza, and other popular places of interest and shopping. This is our 3rd time at this hotel, and will definitely consider this hotel for next visit.

I travelled from Osaka to Tokyo with JR pass,as such this hotel is very convenience, just opposite the train station. We stayed in the main tower and room though small but clean. Would stay here again.

"Shinagawa Prince Hotel (North Tower)"
This review is specifically for the North Tower. The hotel has a few towers with the North Tower being the lowest priced, and with good reason. The rooms are smaller and outdated: the key was not electronic (a problem if more than one person is staying in the room), the outlets were scarce, and the A/C wasn't working. Even the lobby wasn't very easy […] to access. Earlier in the trip I stayed at the hotel's Main Tower which was a step up in many ways compared to the North Tower. If you're planning on staying at the Shinagawa Prince, do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a room at one of the other towers (North or Annex). Mehr

I lived at Main Tower high floor room. Though the room rate is more expensive than East Tower, the view of the room is great and I can even see Tokyo Tower! Also, the location of hotel is very conveient, expecially to/from Haneda Airport. (with 30 mins and cost only 400 yen)

"Fantastic location!"
Love the location - easy to find and get to. Tons of shops around, places to eat -budget to elegant dining. You can get to anywhere from here! We had a twin room - it was smaller than I thought but for the price we paid, I thought it was fantastic!
"Convenient and clean"
As my friend told me the hotel was clean and convenient. Most of all it was very convenient to move to other parts of the city using subway. If I am going to Tokyo with limited budget again, the hotel will be my choice.

"Very accessible to train station, just 5mins walk"
My husband and I stayed in the main tower and high floor guest rooms. You get to enjoy free high speed Internet (but its cable type, not wifi) if u book high floor rooms. A pity that we brought iPad, hence we did not get to enjoy the free Internet... Very accessible to train station to get to place of interest. Food hunt not a problem too. But, no place […] of interest near to hotel. Its a highly recommended hotel to stay. :) Mehr
"Shinagawa Prince Hotel"
Location for the Hotel is fantastic for the trains. Siteseeing wise it is in the middle ground, but this is compensated for ease of using the train system to get around town.

This is a huge hotel with 4 wings. We stayed in the Main Wing on the 30th floor which was a wonderful experience. I was expecting small rooms but the rooms were pretty good, not cramped at all with a state of the art toilet. The staff can speak ok english and are helpful. There are lot of eateries close by and a small supermarket at the entrance of […] the station. The hotel is right accross the Shinagawa station, a short 15 min train ride from Haneda airport. From Shinagawa one can connect not only to any number of local trains including the Shinkansen (bullet trains) and Narita express to Narita airport. I stayed for 6 nights at the east tower. For a single room, it was a neat and simple. With a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, it was a good place to stay in. The place is about a 10 min walk from the JR station with lots of eateries around.

Staying at the main tower high floor. -Good location to JR(Yamanote line) Shinagawa just across the hotel. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall that has some non-Japanese restaurants, a nice little break from the local cuisine. "Wonderful Hotel - Right at Tokyo JR Station"
Great hotel right accross the street from Tokyo JR Station. We stayed in Main Tower for 3 nights. Tons of dining options within steps of the hotel. If you choose "green service" and forego the daily linen change, the hotel provides a 500 Y voucher that cna be put toward food or other amenities. "Green service" is available on stays of more than one […] night. Despite being adjacent to the Station, the sound of rail traffic was not a factor. "The North Tower Better than Expected"
I chose the older North Tower because its room rate was a bit cheaper. It turned out to be better than I expected. Compared to the Main Wing, where I had stayed several times before, the North Tower is actually closer to the subway station, closer to the main road, although it does not have a lobby. I met my friends and customers in the lobby of the […] Main Wing, which is just short distance further inside the courtyard. It's quieter at night, because there are fewer rooms on each floor. I shall take the North Tower the next time I stay at Shinagawa Prince. If there is anything that needs improvement, it was their database. I have stayed at several Prince Hotels in Tokyo and is a member of the chain's frequent traveler program, yet the front desk wanted me to fill in all the information which should be in their record.
