I have stayed at the Nativo in the past and loved it but was really disappointed this time. I was able to get a room at a reduced rate which was excellent but for the lack of previous quality, I would not pay more than that. The outside walkways and drive through were dirty and nasty looking. The property looks like it is not being cared for. My room […] was satisfactory but not fabulous. The sink was clogged and we alerted the front desk and the problem did not get fixed. The sheets were thin because of much use. What?? No flat screen tv! It is not 4 star hotel by any means. Mehr

For someone not from New Mexico, this would be a great place to stay, for all of the Native American Lore. The Room wasn't as grand as the Lobby, but Comfortable. It just seems as though all the Thought, and Hype go into the Lobby, and less attention is paid to the Rooms themselves. Plus How often do you see a 3 star Hotel without some sort of Complimentary […] Breakfast? I Don't think I would stay there again, only because I could find Hotels at a Much more affordable price, that perhaps better meet my needs. Nice for the one time though. Thank You! Mehr

I have stayed in ABQ for years and thought I knew all the hotels, WRONG. The bed was the most comfortable with a pillow top and the pillows were the best. It had a comforter that was very warm. The heater and cooler was very quite, nice change. In the shower they actually let you use water. They had food although I did not eat there, the breakfast was […] not included but a 20% discount. The price was very competitive. I recommend the hotel highly. Mehr

I've been here a couple times. The Nativo is a great place to stay. The hotel looks great and the rooms are very comfortable. Some of the folks that work there are great. Others are a little on the slow side. Try finding a hostess at the restaurant in the morning for example. Overall though, this is a great place with mostly great service.

I liked this hotel because it was right next to a Starbucks! Also, Valerie at the front desk was super nice and helpful! I think she must live there-she was always at the front desk! I liked that it had a different vibe to it than a chain hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Only downside-our room was on the first floor facing the front […] and we could hear people walking by and talking on the way to the front door at night. Mehr

Our weekend stay at this hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room service was great, we ordered breakfast and were happily surprised with the excellent quality of our food. As a psychology student, I can usually tell when people feel inconvenienced when they have to do their jobs. I never got this feeling from the staff at the Nativo […] Lodge. In fact when we placed our breakfast orders, we didn't ask for drinks with our food. The staff actually took the time to call our room back and double check our orders for us. I thought this was a very good example of people who take their jobs and customers seriously. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, everything was great. The only thing I would recommend to the owners of this hotel, would be to put refrigerators in all their rooms. Other than that, perfect!!! Mehr

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous staff, everyone from the front desk to the maintenance men...just fabulous. The indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi area were very nice as well, even in January. The beds and pillows made it hard to get up in the morning because they were just so comfortable.

Very comfortable bed. Excellent hot tub and pool. Enjoyed the Starbucks coffee in the room! Great stay. Will stay again.

We caught a free night deal that made our two day stay a steal. The room was nice, private balcony, free internet, indoor pool and jacuzzi, and friendly staff at the front desk and bar. I lived in Albuquerque for almost 10 years, the Nativo Lodge is in a great location right off of I-25. Anyone wishing to see all of the city (Tramway, Sandia Casino, […] West Side attractions, as well as Downtown, Old Town, Museums, and shopping) will be extremely happy with the location. Cons: only one elevator, could have used more towels in the room, and the heater was a bit noisy. These are just minor inconveniences. Pros: Great location, really fun pool area, fun architecture, balconies, comfy beds, friendly staff, nice bar area. Highly recommended if you can catch a deal like we did. Great for Kiddos! Mehr

Great place! Ive stayed there twice now, im from Texas and visit a few times a year. Only complaint is that both times the housekeeping came at 8:30-9:00 AM. When I come to ABQ I want to relax and sleep in, and I wish the housekeeping came at around check out time. Its annoying.

Beautiful art. Clean and smelled surprisingly good. Pool was clean and amazing.

Our stay at hotel Nativo was very nice. The rooms were spacious and decorations were great. It has a definite Native American style to it,with many wonderful native decorations. The staff were very helpful. It is centrally located.

Right next to I-25... Awesome service, rooms, history... Restaurants next door. Will for sure stay again!

Loved it ! would stay there whenever in town. Beautiful, calm and peaceful atmosphere, extremely thoughtful lobby area decor; one of the nicest I have ever stayed in.

What a great hotel, we loved it here. After a long drive from Denver we were greeted at the front desk with smiles and Merry Christmas! The hotel is gorgeous and really interesting. The rooms are very comfortable as was the bed. We had dinner at the bar with fabulous jalapeno margaritas and a great chili rubbed steak. I would go back if I found myself […] in Albuquerque again! We enjoyed our stay. The common areas, bar, etc. were nice and relaxing. We will stay again, but there are a few things to consider: 1) There was only one mirror in the room which could've caused delays had we both had to get ready at once. 2) There is only one elevator, and it is very slow. Very quiet as I was there on Christmas Eve, but have stayed there before and plan to stay there again in the future.

I stayed at this hotel because the price was unbelievable, judging by the pictures. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and willing to help, I wish I checked in earlier so I could have stayed there longer!! I would definitely would stay with them again. The location isn't great - it is sort of far from the airport and could be confusing […] if you didn't know where you were going - but that is my only complaint. Will definitely keep my eyes open for cheap rates at Nativo for when I need a weekend getaway for myself :) Mehr

Wonderful hotel Desk staff was exceptional, especially Valerie who worked so hard to find us a room with a view. Lobby is beautiful and rooms were clean and beds very comfortable Loved the whole experience. Free starbucks coffee in lobby as well

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I loved the carpet in the room and the room I stayed in was spacious with a balcony. The room was clean but the coffee pot needed to be cleaned a bit more and the iron board needed to be replaced. Otherwise everything else was good. I would stay here again.

we checked in and hotel was having graduation dinners, lady checking us in should have been considerate and placed guests near party. we were ready for bed at 10pm after long day driving then BOOM went the band which was literally next door and rooms are not soundproof. called front desk and their response was shut up or change rooms, we are not young […] so they would not help change rooms. beds were great but bathroom drain did not drain very fast. Everyone was curtious. Check in took 20 minutes since they couldn't find our Hotel.com reservation. Extremely comfortable bed. Trash was left from previous guest and a light bulb was missing from desk lamp. Slow drainage in tub. But room very clean. I would stay again. I would recommend as well.

The hotel was great in every way but the food service was terible as we waited over an hour and had to leave after ordering becasue of an appointment. Only one waitress. TV reception was bad also.

Nativo Lodge is beautifully decorated in a rustic southwest design style featuring Native American art. The desk clerks were very pleasant both upon our arrival and when we checked out . There is a small bar and cafe located in the lobby though we did not take advantage of either. Our room had a nice size balcony though it was too cold to take advantage […] of. The beds were very comfortable though the feather pillows were not the greatest. The comforters are very heavy with a suede like feel. The room was a comfortable size with plenty of space between the beds and other furniture. The location is ideal for those wanting to visit Santa Fe as it is just off of I-25. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying at Nativo Lodge again in the not too distant future. Mehr

I enjoyed the stay nice place..too orangy though, Im not sure why they dont have breakfast with the price of the room even a continental breakfast would do. Oh and if your into watching tv while you rest, well expect to see it through a 20 inch old television, they need to upgrade on this.

A beautiful hotel, easy to get to from I-25 on the north end of Albuquerque. We ate in the bar area, which was ok, but that was the only restaurant area available in the evening. Limited menu but good food.

GREAT service! Very comfortable hotel with character. The breakfast was very expensive and extremely salty. Besides that, this is a GREAT place to stay!

The room was quite nice. My room was upgraded to a suite since they filled my king room before I arrived. The bed was quite comfortable. As other reviews mention, the quilt is extremely heavy but was nice. The walls are indeed thin, so you do get some noise from those around you. All in all, were it not for the complete lack of breakfast service or […] anyone at the front desk in the morning, my rating would be higher. When I went down for breakfast, there was one couple eating, so I know they serve breakfast. It's obviously order by menu since there was nothing out. However, there was nobody in the dining area nor at the front desk to even get someone down there. After 10 minutes of looking for someone, I threw my room key on the front desk and left to eat elsewhere. Mehr

The rooms were really big even though the facility was older it was well maintained and i would stay again. We especally enjoyed the free breakfast that came with the well priced room.
