The location is great, close to disney , eateries and convience stores. The service at the hotel was excellent. The only drawback is the stuffy room unless you put the fan on then you deal with the noise.

When we got to the hotel the night crew waz rude plus I waz told I would have the amenities but did not if u plan on staying here with kids I reccemend the suite with kids room. They didn't even have complementary breakfast

The Hotel is an older one and although the rooms have been updated in the last two years, the TV's were static on half the "cable" channels, and white socks turned brown walking around on the carpet. Every other room had someone hanging over the railing smoking like you might picture in a movie at some cheap "wrong side of the tracks" motel. My husband and I stayed at the jolly roger for a convention that was held at the convention center. The hotel itself wasn't bad. The mattress on my bed was not comfortable and the comforter had a couple of black stains on it! plus to make matters worse the blanket under that had holes in it! I called the front desk the following morning and they switched […] them out. I did notice that the new comforter still had some kind of black small stains on it but I just left it as is. One of the towels had some gunk on it too! over all this hotel was too much money for what we got. Next time I go down to Anaheim id probably try and find somewhere else to stay Mehr

Nice hotel, always returned from Disneyland to a clean room. A 5 minute walk to and from the park, which was nice to be able to bring back park merch or grab a jacket quickly for the evening. will stay here again.

The location is perfect, the rooms are quiet and the price is great. You do get what you pay for! The place needs major updates.... uncomfortable mattress, mold on bathroom ceilings and ancient t.v. The towels and bedding were always fresh and clean. If you need a place to sleep and not hang out at and want a savings.... this place will work.

A great room for the money. Spotlessly cleaned every day!! Not a fancy room, but we weren't there, only to sleep.

In the last few years we have gone to Disneyland 2 times a year or so. Every time we now stay at Jolly Roger as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the hotel is walking distance to Disney! We will always stay at Jolly Roger every time we come to Disneyland because they have never let us down.

The restaurant and bar were closed "for renovation". No place to eat or have a beer.

The room was adequate, but simply furnished. Two queen beds, TV, tiny table (no desk), vanity and bathroom. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The mattresses were on the firm side. Walls are somewhat thin. You could definitely hear conversation in the adjacent room or in the hallways, but fortunately, there was not a lot of either. The Jolly Roger is amazingly close to the Anaheim Convention Center (a five minute walk, at most), but around 1/3 of the price of the Hilton (which is just next door). If you're attending a convention (such as BlizzCon) and are concerned with location and price, go with the Jolly Roger. If you need 5 foot thick memory foam mattresses and condor down duvets in your hotel room, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to leave your luggage during the day and collapse into a warm and clean bed at night, the Jolly Roger is hard to beat. The price was very reasonable considering what the large hotels nearby are charging […] and it was only a few minutes walk to the Anaheim Convention Centre and Disneyland. I didn't actually check if the onsite restaurant was open since there were so many to choose from all along Harbor Ave. The pool was fantastic and I was often the only person in it. My only complaint was that the WiFi was a little bit weak in my room which was at the very farthest corner from the lobby area. However, most of the restaurants and bars in the area offered free wifi to customers so I had no issues staying connected. I would (and likely will in the near future) stay at the Jolly Roger again. Highly recommended for a small family on a budget planning a Disneyland vacation. Mehr

Rooms look better than property. Easy access to Convention Center (sidewalk at side, cut through Hilton parking garage) 15 minute walk to entrance of Disneyland or, going the other direction about the same to Downtown Disney. OK area. Security latch in room had bottom peg missing so had to shove a little screwdriver in to feel latch would hold. Odd […] little coffee maker makes one CUP at a time..didn't work well upon check in (had to push start button over and over to get a cup full). Told front desk about problem and asked for replacement...didn't happen. Left a note for housekeeper and she changed it out and provided towel animals rest of trip. Nice touch. Decent choice for large room within walking distance to park for low price, or for any event at Convention Center Mehr

Hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Disappointed that restaurant listed onsite was closed, and had been for some time. Room was in the old motel section, but was clean and comfortable.

Be sure to bring raid bug spray

Close to Convention Center, Restaurants and Disney, Employee's very firendly and could not do more to make our stay more pleasant.

The hotel was in a wonderful location near disneyland and other down town sight seeing areas.

We spend two nights at the hotel and enjoyed the proximity to Disneyland (about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland front gate). BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW!! The rooms are small, but they are clean and cheap! The pool is clean and heated and did i mention FREE PARKING! Most of the area hotels charge 12-25 a night so read them closely.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Ok, I new it was old and the only hotel available. But old doesn't have to be bad. So I thought. The beds were old and lumpy and the pillows were paper thin. But the worst part was waking up the next morning and having a band aid stuck to my sweat pants! My wife and kids freaked out. the hotel was nice and very close to disneyland just a short walk but they need to up date there web site they said they had continental breakfast at there hotel but dont. if you want a room that all you want is to sleep it was just right for that .

Upon arrival we expected a newly renovated hotel, we found a partially re-painted motel. The lobby resembled the late 70's, early 80's. When we picked up a brochure with the Disneyland ticket prices, the desk clerk told us these were the current pricing for Hopper Passes. When we went to purchase the passes were told these were last yers pricing. The […] room was not what was advertsied. Rooms were very stuffy, the A/C was very noisie when you ran it. If you opened the window for air flow, you got the loud street noise. These noises made it difficult to sleep, along with the hard as a cement slab matress. The hotel was also advertised as 1 block away from Disneyland, and for the most part was 1 block. It just took a 1/2 mile plus walk to get to the Main Gate. I would recommend finding other hotels in the area for the same price. Definetly will not stay here again. Mehr

The front-desk person was very cheerful and helpful upon our check-in, however we were very disappointed with our rooms. They did not look like what was advertised on-line. The rooms were quite stuffy and smelly ( lingering smoke etc. in a non-smoking requested room.) The rooms were somewhat clean but not as clean as what we would expect of your hotel. […] We travel to this area at least twice a year and unless there is improvement we will not be booking rooms here again. The Jolly Rodgers was just a hop and skip to the Convention center which made it all the more better to stay.

The first night we stayed we were awaken by the sound of water spilling at approximately 05:30 am. We were then situated on the first floor and we found out that the sink was backed up and water kept spilling from the sink. We called front desk and were told that no maintainence personnel were available until 07:00. They sent a security person with […] just towels to soak up the mess. The stench was overwhelming and no other rooms were available for us to move to or to shower.Ironically on that 1st evening I reserved 7 additional days with this hotel and now debating to change that. The managment decided to give us a discount for the first night and for the remaining days they gave us a larger room upstairs from the reception counter for our inconveniences. Now we were satisfied with this room and didn't experience any other problems from that point on. We do feel that they should staff the late evenings and early morning hours with a maintenance staff. No one should have to experience this especially on first time experiences. Mehr

10mn walk to Disneyland entrance door, room super clean, staff very nice, tv did not work very well but who cares we were not there to watch tv, swimming pool looked very nice but never used it, overall very nice and pleasant stay at a very affordable price for the location!

This hotel is so close to the Anaheim Gardenwalk, Downtown Disney and the Disney Park. The staff was friendly and knowledgable and we enjoyed our stay immensely. No complaints!

We found a good deal so decided to stay at the hotel given the very close proximity to the parks' main entrances, and the price. The hotel staff were very nice! The rooms were pretty clean. The beds were not very comfortable, very thin blankets and flat pillows!! The hot water tank didn't last very long for the showers, and if you didn't leave the AC […] on the room got very stuffy. Overall a great place to stay for cheap price and great walking distance to the park - took about 10 minutes to get there. I'd recommend it if you don't want to spend to much and just need a place to sleep - but maybe bring your own pillow. Mehr

This is an older motel - nothing fancy. It's reasonably priced, very clean, great location to the Convention Center (1/2 block away), close to restaurants, safe, friendly. I would recommend this little motel.

What kind of a Hotel schedules a tree trimming crew to start at 7 AM ?? Chainsaw buzzing, chipper grinding and spewing dust on all the cars! This Roger was not so Jolly. This hotel is older and not much to brag about to begin with, you could at least think of the customers peaceful comfort first.

hotel was located within short walk to Disney resort, which was the purpose of the trip. the hotel was older and loud. very loud noises everytime the room next to us used their bathroom and shower. air conditioning unit was loud as well. the beds were comfortable.

Disneyland is only a 10 minute walk away. The rooms were large, clean a pleasure to stay in with a recent renovation. The hairdryers did not work in the two rooms we had. The pool is heated and very clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. We paid a great price for the rooms.
