Das Hotel ist alles in allem recht ordentlich. Derzeit finden einige, dezente Renovierungsarbeiten statt, da die Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Von der Lage her kann man alles in Downtown und Grandville innerhalb von ca. 20 min zu Fuß erreichen, Bushaltestellen sind in der nähe vorhanden. Service und Komfort sind für die Preisklasse OK. Wichtig ist nur ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes zu verlangen, da das Hotel an einer der großen Brücken Richtung Flughafen liegt auf der sehr viel Verkehr ist, weshalb die Zimmer zur Straße - auch nachts - sehr laut sind

Superlage, saubere grosse Zimmer, mittelmäßiges Frühstück mit schöner Aussicht. Zimmer zum Park hin nachts laut (Obdachlose)

Guter Service schneller Check In

Service was actually quite good. Quality of the room was acceptable for the price. the view from the front of the hotel is nice. Location was good because it was situated perfectly between the main downtown street and the Granville Bridge to the more upscale shopping area. Parking can be a bit difficult and space is tight for larger vehicles. Recommend walking or taking the bus to places downtown because street parking is hard to come by and expensive, especially if you already pay to park in the hotel garage.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. There was a plumbing problem but additional charges were waived and I was offered alternate room to have a shower as a result of the inconvenience. Good Location.

Basic hotel as an accvomodation was ok rest of servicies to expensive, everything is extra including the internet breakfast buffet has not many selections

Convenient downtown location. Older facility with some dated furnishings but very well kept.

Our stay at the Quality Hotel Vancouver was just what we needed. The room was very comfortable, the staff was very helpful and the trolley stopped at the front door! The only negative point was the slow elevator.

My daughter and I stayed here using it as a central point to visit many places in Vancouver. The traffic in the downtown area was often very heavy and hard to get through although it was better on the weekends. Once we got a map and figured out alternate routes, we didn't have any problems. We did a lot of walking in the area and always felt safe. The hotel recommended a restaurant to us and it was a fantastic choice. The only really negative comments I have is our air conditioner didn't work very well, but it was not hot while we were there, and the room was not very well isulated sound wise...we heard alot of street noise even though we were on the 6th floor. I would stay there again though.....

We got a single room with 2 double beds for our family of four. Nothing special about the room. The location is OK, but not really in walking distance to anything besides Granville Island, which even then requires a walk on a sidewalk next to a freeway or a $3 ferry ride. It would have been nice to have a refridgerator, but we were able to do without it. The underground parking lot is a pain to get into and is really tight for large cars.

for downtown Vancouver, this is reasonably priced. Not a high end hotel but close to Granville Island and reasonably close to Robson St. If swimming pool is important to you, do not recommend this hotel because the pool faces an unattractive back alley. Parking spaces ($12/day) in the underground garage are small--a challenge if you have a large vehicle, fine for our Ford Focus. We enjoyed having a cocktail lounge in the hotel.

Good location, really helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable room which contained 'little extra's' such as a kettle as well as a coffee machine, lots of extra pilllows and blankets (not that those were needed - Vancouver was experiencing a record breaking heatwave - bed was very comfortable. Restaurant and bar were welcoming and the food was good and well priced - the complimentary breakfast was excellent! Walking distance to everything in the Downtown area, brilliantly located for English Bay, False Creek, Granville Island and the sea wall walks. - very convenient for the transit system - and reasonably priced bars,cafes and restaurants within 5 mins walk . Small outdoor heated swimming pool - but more than adequate for a quick dip in the extremely hot weather. Lobby and reception decor under refurbishment now (August 09).

The staff at this hotel was fantastic. They were helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. A tour bus stop is close by and there is a beach within walking distance. The room was much nicer than I expected for the price we paid. Breakfast was also included and it was excellent.

I just felt like there were sketchy characters in the immediate vicinity; but walk one or two blocks and you're close to everything!

The room was basic and mainly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient, especially Frank. The hall was dark. New paint in a lighter color would help. Headboard had some kind of greasy marks on it but didn't notice until time to sleep so didn't do anything about it. Would be nice to have more than one computer to use and not have to pay for the internet.

good hotel..

The Quality Hotel Vancouver is very nicely located...just steps from the seawall walk along False Creek. It's also very easy to find, thanks to excellent directions on the hotel website. We found the staff to be very friendly, professional and helpful, whether we needed directions, information or, as it happened, the return of a laptop cable we'd left in our room. Our room was relatively small, but very clean and nicely appointed. The only complaints I have are that the beds are very hard, compared to what I'm used to, and the air conditioner vents point straight up, rather than into the room (which wouldn't have mattered if we hadn't been in Vancouver on one of the hottest days of the year!), which made them less than effective. The underground parking is nice and secure, but be warned if you drive a larger vehicle...the spaces are small. We drive a Lincoln Town Car, and it was a bit of a tight fit. All in all, I was very pleased with the hotel, and would stay there again, if I needed lodging in Vancouver.

We picked this hotel for a family trip because of its location and availability of suites with kitchen facilities. Close to Stanley Park. We walked 4 blocks to the waterfront and took the aqua bus several times to Granville Island for dining & shopping at the Public Market. Quiet, comfortable, courteous staff. We would stay again when in Vancouver.

We were very impresssed with the hotel and their staff especially Frank & Rosie even though they all were constantly helpful and polite with everyone's constant questions..Even though the hotel does need some revamping it still was a great deal for the money. It was close to everything and the room was ample and clean. I would definitley stay there again when in Vancouver. The only thing we found odd was the charge to use their computer supplied to their customers. Very nice stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is convenient to Granville Island and the beaches, and many other tourist destination are easily walkable. The hotel staff was exceedingly helpful to me: suggesting tourist destinations, helping me locate water taxis on False Creek, and storing my luggage after check out while I went out for the day. Stay on the street side of the hotel for a fantastic view of Yaletown!

A cozy, older hotel in a very neat part of Vancouver. The area around False Creek has been revitalized and the people of the area are very proud of it. The staff of the hotel were very good at assisting us with ideas of places to go and things to do. We went to dinner at The Bridges retaurant, a short water taxi ride across Fals Creek from the hotel. This was highly recommended by the hotel staff and justfiably so. We stayed one night, going on an Alaska cruise the next day. Again, the staff was very helpful in storing our luggage so we could tour some more of town before leaving for the ship. Upon our return, they were still helpful in getting taxis, etc, even though we had already checked out.

Central location, clean room, lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Recommended.

Not well maintained. Needs improvement. Room was somewhat shabby.

Excellent service, reasonable room price and comfortable, clean room. Only minor problem being that there was a bit of noise during the night from both outside and people returning to the hotel. I would recommend and definitely use again as a good alternative to the usually higher-priced Vancouver hotels.

The room was large and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They figured out for me how I could get to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, either by a free busride or public transportation. The room had free wi-fi and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that would have made me think I wasn't staying at a realy expensive hotel was that the halls in this older building were not brightly lit and the hallways had an old, sort of stale smell. But you couldn't smell anything in the room, which was immaculate and odorless. It didn't bother me at all.

This hotel provided a great "bang" for the buck. It's in a good location for walking around and the front desk help was really helpful in making recommendations for food and the sites. I would definitely stay there again!

This hotel was very affordable, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to walk to all downtown attractions and was really easy to get onto highway to get to other areas. Yaletown was only a few blocks away and was close to Robson street shopping.

I was expecting much less for the price that I paid but it was a great hotel, much fancier than I anticipated. The parking situation was kind of a pain but I was just thankful to have a secure place to park in downtown Vancouver. The staff was great and the room comfortable; including the great shower head in the bathroom (very relaxing). My only actual complaint would be that the bed wasn't soft but other than that, a great bargain!

Hotel is OK. First thing you should do is lay on the bed. I reserved two separate rooms for my family. One room was just fine. The other had a bed that sagged A LOT on one side. We did not find this out until we were going to bed. Pillows need replacement. Our rooms were near the main road. We had the fan on so we did not her that much noise. Staff is very friendly.

This hotel was very convenient to walk to stores and restaurants. We loved going to Robson St. and Granville Island!

Great location ...you can walk to places around

We were pretty satisfied considering the great location of the hotel. Room was basic, no frills, but was fairly clean except for the rug was a bit worn. Glad we brought our own slippers as I didn't feel comfortable walking on the rug barefoot or with my own socks. Really wanted to have a fridge but this hotel didn't provide any. Great shower pressure but almost too much, as the drain couldn't keep up with the amount of water spilling out.We requested a quiet room away from the busy street noise and got one of the back sided rooms which ended up facing a noisy bar/parking area on the Friday/Saturday nights. We would stay here again if we could get a room away from that annoying bar noise.

The hotel itself was very affordable and greatly exceeded my expectations for the price. The staff was very courteous and professional. The room was nice and the location of the hotel was extremely convenient. I had read some complaints on another site about it being to close to a freeway but this was not an issue. I was on that side and it was extremely quiet throughout the night. Only issue I had was finding the ice machine which is practically hidden with no signage. Other than that my experience was excellent and for what you pay it's an extremely good value.

It's a great room for the money. I have searched for the prices at that time and Quality Hotel Vancouver-Inn at False is the best price I could find that is quality in price too.Thank you.

Great hotel for the price! Easy to get to in the car and very close to Granville Island. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was small but shower had good water pressure. Hotel lounge closed early both nights we were there which was disappointing but we went the the jazz club near by and had a great time.

The customer service was outstanding. We got to Vancouver at 10:30 am and they had a room available even if check in time was at 3pm. Parking was tight. But overall good choice for a very reasonable price
