Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, konnten viel früher einchecken. sehr hilfsbereit.

Ein preiswertes gutes Hotel mit hervorragendem Service ganz in der Nähe des Gay Village mit großem, angenehmen und sauberem Zimmer.

Das Hotel ist alles in allem recht ordentlich. Derzeit finden einige, dezente Renovierungsarbeiten statt, da die Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Von der Lage her kann man alles in Downtown und Grandville innerhalb von ca. 20 min zu Fuß erreichen, Bushaltestellen sind in der nähe vorhanden. Service und Komfort sind für die Preisklasse […] OK. Wichtig ist nur ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes zu verlangen, da das Hotel an einer der großen Brücken Richtung Flughafen liegt auf der sehr viel Verkehr ist, weshalb die Zimmer zur Straße - auch nachts - sehr laut sind Mehr

not really centric, this hotel is well connected to the bus system and the city tour buses (the 3 city hop on hop off lines have even an own bus stop in front of the hotel). Good location to stay when visiting Grandville Island and the waterfront (and swimming beach). Rooms have recently been updated - simple, clean and cheerfull.

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber das Zentrum ist zu Fuß in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Gegend ist sicher und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Pool ist nichts besonderes, aber als Abkühlung gut. Sightseeing Bus hält genau vor dem Hotel. Granville Island und Strand gleich in der Nähe. Frühstück war gut und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Everything your looking for in a hotel. They are all the same concept and reliability. This was a PEFECT choice, and super cheap price. Will stay again.

Nice rooms at a value price. Not 5 star, but certainly well worth the price compared to others. The front desk was more than helpful when I had questions and needed directions. I would definitely say the front desk was first rate!

good value

An old hotel who can benefit from a little updating but good value, clean, good location, friendly staff. The restaurant serves really good food but no room service.

Hotel was horrible. The floor we were placed on smelled incredibly bad. We had to call management to move us. The parking garage is extremely shady and you have to drive through a shady alley just to get to it. The television remote didn't work a lot of times so you needed to get up and turn off the tv manually. Hotel looks run down and unsafe. Horrible […] lighting in the hallway. I dare say, a Motel 6 might have been a better idea. Mehr

It was a nice little hotel with a very welcoming lobby. I liked their business centre with free printing- it's where I printed my flight ticket :)

My family and I stayed her for 21 days (before X'mas 2011 and after New Year 2012) We are very happy with the services and friendly staffs. The room rates are reasonable and clean. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. We have great time staying there and walking distance to the town.

i rented a room by phone for my son and his fiancee for new years eve . the guy i talked to was very nice. but i was not told that there was a hundred dollar deposit needed to be left as security as i was not there with my credit card. there fore they did not get to do some of the events they had planned as they were shorted on their spending money.i […] would think that this should be explained before hand Mehr

Bit of a dump, get what you pay for?

Within easy walking distance to Granville Isle, the downtown shopping district, short cab ride to the sporting venues. Truly friendly accomodating staff. Clean rooms, safe parking (extra $15/night) and truly friendly and accomodating staff.

The room was a good deal, but it didn't include free parking or continental breakfast; Parking costs $15 a night. I found the decor to be a bit older but still clean. This place is nothing fancy but just OK for the night. I think I will try somewhere else next time.

Only one complaint: the pillows smelled funky, particularly the little decorative pillows. They were comfortable, the bed was comfortable, things were clean and staff was responsive. They gave me directions and ordered a cab for me and I was grateful for all of the service.

Overall, the hotel was acceptable. Quiet. Clean. Rooms were of a decent size. No view for us, but that wasn't important. But the wireless was a disaster. It was sporadic. Kept losing the connection. Finally, it was infected by a virus and completely shutdown. I commented to the front staff about this issue, but not sure that they really understood how […] to address the concerns. Mehr

Would have liked to have been closer to the metro, but the bus stop was quite close and easily accessible. I liked everything about this hotel and the service was both friendly and first rate. There were two things that inconvenienced me; first, my room looked right out onto the street, half a block from the bridge connecting downtown Vancouver to […] south Vancouver, and the traffic noise kept me awake (I am a light sleeper). Second, the water bottles left on the desk weren't free and there wasn't a sign on the desk saying the water price. Granted, I should have looked closer (I found out at checkout that it stated the price on the paper attached to the bottle neck, but this was not obvious and difficult to see). but for the price I paid for the room, charging for the water as well as the room was a little tacky (most 4 to 5 star hotels comp at least two bottles of water as a matter of policy). These were small inconveniences, however, and all things considered, I would definitely stay here again. Mehr

Much better than the previous hotel we has stayed at in Vancouver, which was in the same area. Very helpful staff and very happy to stay there -. we will stay there again. Didn't use the restaurant as we were out much of the time..

An okay stay, place getting a bit shabby, and construction next door started at 7:30 a.m. Room was too hot or too cold,hard to sort out the noisy fan. Service efficient and polite, nice restaurant with tasty breakfast. No shower cap, an annoyance.

Nice hotel we stayed in downtown Vancouver. Although it's not in the city center, it's just a 5 minute bus ride away. Hotel's closer to the Granville Island area which has a cool public market and good fish and chips. The hotel itself was comfortable and has a free luggage room. Parking is not cheap though, we parked our rental car Saturday night and […] it was $20 after tax. Overall an enjoyable stay. Mehr

Great hotel. great location and great price

I loved the location of the hotel. The lobby was nice. The rooms left a lot to be desired. The tub had rust on it. And the beds sunk to the middle. Very uncomfortable. Staff was nice and very helpful. When you do not get a good night sleep you can not feel good about the stay.

worth the money

Stayed over night while passing through Vancouver en route to Australia. I arrived around midnight, and the staff were curteous and efficent. The room was clean and all in good condition, the bed comfortable. They stored my bags for me even after I had checked out, and I picked them up that evening, and they called me a cab, even though I was no longer […] a paying guest. Top service, good room, at a good price, and a good location. Definitly good way to go Mehr

The hotel location was great!!! The service was good!!! The room was nice and the beds were VERY comfortable!!!! You have to pay for parking and was little tight but besides that I will stay there again and I recommend this hotel.

Good location only a few blocks to the shopping area. Bar was comfortable, although the waitress was very stressed due to lack of staff & closed the bar at 9.30pm

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and our room. The staff were courteous and customer oriented. For the price, the room was a bargain. It was spacious, clean, had plenty of towels and was in a quiet location, in spite of all the construction going on. We would definitely come back (we also appreciate that the hotel is all non smoking).

Hotel and restaurant were excellent. We walked everywhere, location very convenient to Yale town, Granville Island and skytrain. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here primarily due to the central location. The service was good but expect to fork over another $15 for parking. Room was clean and didn't smell like an ashtray. The hotel is walking distance from great shopping, food and nightlife as well as being close to Stanley Park. I would stay again when travling in Vancouver.

Nice king bed. Close to Granville Island and Davie Village. Plus they give you free gym passes to Steve Nash Fitness World right down the block. But the sink faucet in the bathroom was screwed up - was hard to get the temperature I wanted!

Rooms and hotel personnel were very nice. Surrounding neighborhood felt safe. Very convenient location. Currently (late August 2011) there is a big construction site directly across the street from the hotel. Work starts at 7:30 AM, so don't plan on sleeping late until this construction is completed (looks like it will be a while). I was disappointed […] to find there is a $10/day charge for using a printer in the business center. I would return to this hotel, once construction is completed. Mehr

I stayed one night at the Quality Inn and was very happy with my room, the hotel service and the location. (I lived in the area years ago so I'm a bit biased in favour of the area. To me it's in the best part of the downtown area--very close to the seawall, a stone's throw from Granville Island, and within walking distance of a gazillion great restaurants […] and shops on and around Davie Street.) Being in the heart of the city and at the end of a bridge, it can be a bit loud with "city noises." But that's been the case in every hotel I've stayed in in Vancouver and is simply part and parcel of visiting or living in a place with lots of people. I would definitely stay at the Quality Inn again. In fact, I'm planning to bring my family and even my dog with me on my next business trip. (They have family rooms, and rooms that allow small pets.) The front desk guys were awesomely friendly, helpful, and courteous at check in and check out. The telephone person gave us wrong info regarding transfer from cruise port to the hotel. She misdirected us with wrong info and we ended up paying $100 more than necessary to get transfer to the hotel. We booked shuttle instead of taking the taxi cuz she […] said to me on the phone that taxi would cost $30-$35 per taxi for up to 4 passengers. We found out later that it only cost $8 per taxi for 4 people. We could have paid $50 for taxi for 17 people instead of $150 for a shuttle for 17. The hotel is nice and close to Granville Ave for walking to Gastown and shopping. Didn't like housekeeping because she never cleaned up our dishes on the table, counter, kitchen. She only replaced our towels and made the bed. At the 3rd night, we had to clean our dishes, dry, and put away everything in case we get extra charges for not doing the dishes. We didn't know if we're supposed to clean up the kitchen ourselves or should housekeeping do that. I thought everything in the room should be cleaned for us but evidently the kitchen stuff wasn't so we had to do it ourselves. Kinda funny to clean everything and leave dirty dishes untouched.... We didn't know what to make out of that.... But with all that said, we liked this hotel and would recommend to friends and families to future stay cuz the guys were so nice. I wouldn't recommend getting the room with a kitchen cuz we booked for 5 people in the room but got only 3 plates, 3 forks, 4 bowls, not enough for everyone to use so we had to buy disposables to use anyway.
