Arrived at Hotel 1:30, 3/24. waitiing for check in. Sat at Out side by pool for Lunch. It took 1.5 hours to get a sandwich for two and 1 drink. Very under staffed for a Saturday Afternoon, Pool area half full. Came out to pool later in day, Pool towels where very poor quality for a Four Star Hotel! I would not even use these towels to clean my car, […] very thin! The Coffee servive in the room was not very high quality for a four Star Hotel> Best Westerns motels have better coffee in there rooms. and the final STRAW was Sunday afternoon we where sitting by pool and Attendent said they where closing the pool at 2pm due too a Large Party? Would have been nice if they gave us prior notice earlier in day! Mehr

Grounds, lobby area, gym, much better than most hotels. Restaurant was exceptional. Well rounded menu, food well prepared and presented, and priced more than fairly. Must try this. The staff was helpful, pleasant, and happy !! Would consider this first whenever in Palm Springs. ( Easy walk to downtown with Sherman's deli on the way.)

We were very impressed by the lobby, the rooms and the overall facility. Clean, interestingly designed and comfortable. We especially like the bedroom layout with a sitting area with a flat screen and sectioned off bedroom with a second flat screen. It was the kind of room where we are competely happy to hang out in the room - which was our goal for […] the weekend. The one downside we found for this type of getaway was in spite of the nice TVs and cozy hominess for just relaxing in the room, they offer no movie channels - thru either the TV service (e.g. HBO, Showtime) or pay per view. Seemed like a strange corner to cut in light of the rest of the amenities. Overall, we will gladly patronize again and just hope that upgrade is added some day. Really enjoyed the room (and balcony with seating and a view). Mehr

This is a great place to stay awesome pool great rooms everyone is very friendly. I did not eat there so I don't know about the food. Parking $10.00 not bad for Palm Springs.

Seemed like a sleepy time of year, but everything was fairly close by and easy to navigate. Staff was friendly and exceedingly helpful. Would not hesitate to return!

I would consider this more of a Marriott hotel than a Renaissance Hotel, or a boutique type Marriott. I am used to a bit more elegance in the Renaissance Hotels I have stayed at. Food was excellent, but the service was not good. I had the sense that the hotel was very understaffed, perhaps due to the holiday (we stayed from Dec. 25 - 27)

Great hotel... clean, quite, overall nice place... wont stay anywhere else in palm springs!

Strongly recommend this hotel. The absolute friendliest staff I've ever come across. From the moment we arrived they were extremely polite and helpful. Very family friendly. Will definetly be back.

Nice price, nice hotel, good location. You don't have to pay for extra for parking you can easily park in the lot next door to the hotel for free. It's about the same distance if you paid to park in the hotel lot. The hotel recently went through a renovation and it's very Westin like. The pool is nice but there's a lot of people including out of control […] kids, which is the only thumbs down for me. Mehr

The Hotel looks pretty good when you walk in the lobby but I was disgusted when they wanted to charge $12.95 per day, per device to have internet...Really? When they have 70's popcorn on the ceiling I really find it hard to believe they think they can charge that...plus $10 for self parking per day and sometimes if you come in late there is no parking […] but of course you will be charged every day. The beds were comfy but the room was not super clean...I noticed a soda can and tissue left behind from the last guest. I would never stay again...also there were no small fridges in the room which is annoying when you feel like a cold drink. Pool was okay...seemed clean but I was glas to get out of there. Seemed like a wannabe boutique hotel...My sis had a double queen room booked and they only had a single King when she checked in...thank God our friend stayed home because she would of not been comfy in the same bed. Ohhh avoid this place if possible...there are so many other places to stay. Mehr

This is a nice property, conveniently located with good service: BUT, the design of the hotel is such that one walks FOREVER to get to a room...who designed this place?!

Every one of the staff were so friendly and helpful. All of them we ran across had a smile and were right on top of things. Will come back again!

Thx Gerado--the Van driver and overall cheerful valet. Great service and very comfortable beds. Lot's of college age kids at the pool though

everything was great from the moment we arrived from Niki in valet and her team to Rodrigo at procks bar. Front desk was tremendously helpful and friendly. Food at poolside was exceptional. Shuttle drivers were well informed of the area. My wife and I felt invigorated after using gym and spa. highly recomend this location. We will always stay at this […] location. Very nice hotel, very enjoyable stay. Would recommend to anyone.

For a high price a nite,we got a view of the parking lot, the descripition upon making reservation was either a mtn. view,pool view or golf course, The food service is very slow, alittle pricey, but good,drinks around pool very pricey...pool advertised as biggest in palm springs...i hope not....no nooks or cranniies for privacy in the pool or outside […] the pool..its a big circle...and water waaayyy to warm for hot weather...and NOISEY with children..............not for me...wont be returning...have a great little place in desert hot springs...sorry we ventured away from it........ This is a lovely hotel with many fine features. The room was decorated nicely and very comfortable. The pool area is spectacular. The only problem we ran into was with room service. The service from the individual taking the order was unacceptable.

I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent room, excellent price, excellent service! This hotel was recently remodeled a few years ago. It was the the Wyndham prior to now the Renaissance. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews in particularly the air conditioning in which we had a slight problem but they were right on it up at my room and then […] followed up with a phone call to make sure it was taken care of. I stayed here on a weekend just to relax and read by the pool. The location was convenient for walking into [Palm Springs version] "town." I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. Except we had paid for a mountain or city room and we got a room overlooking the 2nd floor roof. Other then that is was great, clean and beautiful.

We came from San Diego for a two night stay. The hotel was great. Good location, great pool and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! The breakfast was not very good and the service at breakfast was slow but everything else was great! They also had a free shuttle to downtown Palm Springs. Overall, great experience.... We'll be back.

The hotel is in a great location and has the best pool in all of Palm Springs. However, I was disappointed with two things. First, I did not expect to have to ask for a refridgerator in the room; my expectation was that one would be there. It was provided after I asked. Second, though the pool is the best, I was very disappointed that the deck was filthy […] and the tables were not cleaned. I was at the hotel for several days and saw no cleaning at all. Also, the policy of not reserving lounges was not enforced and I witnessed several unpleasant fights as a result of this. I will stay at the hotel again, but I hope some of my concerns will be addressed. Mehr

Hotel was very clean, pool area nice. Staff at the front desk not so friendly. Not within walking distance of the main shopping or dining as stated. Rooms were ok, very small but clean. Fire alarm was set off at 3 amand the alarm rang for 15 min + and when checking out they didnt so much as apologize.

The central air system is noisy. I expect a silent heating or cooling when spending the night in a 4 stars hotel. The swimming pool area and breakfast patio are great though.

The thermostat in our room was faulty and our toilet backed up. After two hours, I had to dial their "delighted to serve" button on the phone because no one had come up to fix it. The operator on the other end was rude and not helpful. We had breakfast at DATE in the hotel and the service was just as bad. We sat outside and watched birds eat off of […] plates that hadn't been cleaned up. There was a server that was especially helpful the night before and one of the doorman recommended a great place for breakfast. Unfortunately, they were the only two employees of the hotel that made a good impression during our two night stay. I will not stay there again. Mehr

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was nice but I was a bit disappointed that there was no in-room refrigerator or mini-bar and the WiFi was not free ($13/day). Othewise it was a good stay. Convenient location and nice pool.

I was staying at this hotel because it was next to the convention center where I was at a conference. I chose the hotel only because it is connected to the convention center. I would stay there again if I needed to go to the convention center every morning and my company was paying for it, but I think I could have gotten more for the price I paid. When […] I got there I called for airport pickup but they took a half an hour. I later found out that they go to the airport every half hour so I guess I called right after the one left, but it would have been nice if they told me I would have to wait that long. The front door staff was very friendly. I got to the hotel and they let me into the room even though it was only 12:30. The hotel room was nice, but there was no microwave or minifridge which I would expect for the price I paid. There was a dirty blanket in the closet that was clearly not washed. I asked for a new one and they eventually brought one although it took all day and I had to call twice. The view from my balcony was great. The bar had a 3 dollar drafts from 5-7 but I never bothered going. The pool was closed one day (because of the conference I was attending), this didn’t bother me but it might have bothered other people staying. There were two broken treadmills in the gym and I found it to be pretty crowded early in the morning, but that way probably because of the conference. Mehr

Pool is lovely, nice and clean, right up against the mountains. However the place is not particularly upscale. Don't order anything too complex bc the food isn't exactly gourmet. But hey, what we paid, my girlfriend and I had a pretty great time just relaxing (ie, no nightlife)

I stayed one night at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel. The hotel was very well maintained and in good condition. My air conditioner was not working properly and it was fairly warm outside so it was not too pleasant. When I called the front desk to tell them about the problem they were very helpful and moved me to another room quickly and comped breakfast […] as an inconvenience. I would stay again in the future, nice hotel for what I paid. Mehr

This is a great hotel. Location is great, rooms are large and clean, and the pool is nice. The only drawback we had was the poolside service for food and beverage. Very slow and aloof for such a busy pool space. It would also be nice if someone could help clarify which lounge chairs were available and which were not. I would stay here again.

I was impressed with the size, cleanliness, beauty and comfort of my room. It was very stylishly decorated with bright tasteful colors and furnishings, and the view of the Palm Springs mountains was amazing.
