Days Inn Augusta Wheeler Road - Augusta

Das Hotel war sehr angenehm, das Zimmer groß und wurde täglich Gereinigt. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und ein Store gleich um die Ecke hat kurzfristige Einkäufe sehr einfach gemacht.

The overall stay was a good one. The staff was very friendly & courteous. The room was very comfortable. However, there were a few minor inconveniences, such as, no remote control for the TV & the hotel appeared to be undergoing renovation with a good deal of noise early in the morning. This was not anything as I'd expected. Upon check in the clerk made it a point to tell me that doctors from Doctors Hospital always utilize their facility. But once I went in the room, and opened the frig, it was foul smelling and nasty. Was too afraid to use the microwave. Then right when I was about to take a shower, went into the doorway of the bathroom […] and there was a cock roach on its back still moving. I did the only thing I could at 10pm was to spray it with Lysol and Frebreeze to kill it. Needless to say the shower thing was out! Won't stay there again!!!!!!! Mehr

Worth the value of the room.

This Days Inn was okay. It was clean & everything worked; although, the vent was hanging down a little from the ceiling and the "breakfast area" was extremely small...I guess it served its purpose. For the price paid, it wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't bad either. It was very close to the event I was attending so that was a great plus. When checking […] out, be on time...if you're five minutes over...they'll pound on your door & call right after to remind you to either check out or pay for another night's stay....LOL! The other Days Inn that I stayed in here in the same town was much, much better....but I was shooting for location this time around. So, I guess...Mission Accomplished. Mehr

It was clean and good value for the money. Some communication issues with night shift, but overall a decent stay.

This room was nasty it had spider webs in many locations. The vent in the bathroom was falling down. The molding around the tub was falling off. It was just nasty.

The room was very good for the price.We only stayed one night and found the room was comfortable and clean.

I had to stay in Augusta for just one night, so I didn't mind saving a little money in exchange for losing a little luxury. BUT, I got even less than I expected. My room was clearly marked on the outside as non-smoking (which I'd requested), but there were butts all over the parking lot. When I opened the door, wafts of stale smoke smell inundated me […] (and my baby). On the table was another no-smoking sign...right next to the ashtray. No kidding. I have a photo. I found a bobby pin on the floor and was afraid to take my shoes off. There was a slit in one of the sheets. I just had the feeling nothing was really, truly clean. I requested a crib for my baby--yikes! The thing must have been 7 decades old. The legs were made to fold up out of the way, but when extended they made an odd/insecure angle with the crib. I wondered if it would all come crashing down if my baby rolled over. On the other hand, the staff was kind and it seemed he was doing his best. At the low rate I got, I didn't feel I could complain. But, I will never stay there again and can't recommend it. Mehr

When we arrived at 6pm (well past the 4 pm check in time) the first room we were given was not clean and had a horrible odor to the room. When we advised the front office they sent there cleaning crew up to clean and they took the dirty linens off the floor and proceeded to make up the beds (IILLLLLLLL) Since they did not speak english there was a communication […] barrier so they did not understand what I was telling them (which was...i want clean linens)..We complained again we were given another room...(just as bad)...the toilet flushed when it wanted toNOT WHEN IT WAS NEEDED TO /the carpet and the dresser had a sticky film to it/the shower took 2 hrs to unclog and this room also had an odor... so once again we complained...nothing was done..We were in town for a wedding and luckily we were able to stay with friends. After all these complaints you would think that we would be refunded our money, but that didnt happen..they gave us a 1 night refund and told us that since we didnt turn the key in there is nothing else they could do...I FOREWARN YOU..DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN ON WHEELER ROAD..... The location where the hotel is was very convenient everything was just in reach i love the surrounding and price was very reasonable I love it.

Pubic hair everywhere in the bathroom, very disgusting.

.THE MOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS REAL FRIENDLY.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO OTHERS..I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN I NEED A MOTEL.

If you are expecting a great breakfast this is not the place. If you want a quiet, clean and nice hotel at a reasonable rate. This is my top choice so far in the Augusta area.

Very nice staff. Room was clean, but there was still coffee in the cofee pot. AC ran great wich was good b/c if was over 100 the days we stayed. Ended up staying 4 additional nights (which the staff gave me at the rate I booked for the first 3 nights online!) Pool was clean. Very quiet around hotel even on the weekend. Breakfast wasn't what I expected: […] only cereal, English muffins, toast and mini doughnuts. Other than that a very pleasant stay for the price. No bells and whistles but you can't beat the rate. Only small thing that irked me was the fact that it was on a divided highway so we had to make alot of U-Turns to get into the hotel. Close to food, shopping, I-20 and I-520 (Bobby Jones Expwy) Mehr

I WAS THERE FOR MY FAMILY REUNION AND PRICE FIXED MY BUDGET, Service was VERY SATIFIED , MAID SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING AND VERY HELP AT ALL TIME.

Unbelievably rude desk clerk upon check in. Personality of a slug. Room sink drain took 2 hours to drain from my morning shave and brush teeth. Pillow case has insignia of "Claredon Memorial" on it. Disgusting! Upon check out, owner refused to give reciept for business purposes. Service sucked...and from there, it was down hill.

This hotel needed a major make over! The bathrooms were not clean. It was very run down and smelled like mildew. There was a dirty washcloth in the bathroom and the tub wasn't cleaned out when we checked in. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.

I wasnt expecting some nice swanky hotel, I mean afterall, it was the Days Inn, but come on guys, dirty linen????? I had about 2 sheets and 2 blankets on my bed and every one had stains on them. I thought for sure that hotels (even the Days Inn) would clean the linen after each guest. I refused to sleep in the bed so I had to sleep in the chair, needless […] to say I only got one hour of sleep the whole night. The ice machines didnt work, there were little creepy crawly things on the sink (I didnt tell my kids about those because low and behold we wouldve had to pack up and leave) I do a lot of traveling and stay in many hotels and this was by far the worst!!!!
