Hotel gleich am Ortsanfang leicht zu finden. Riesiges Zimmer sogar mit Sofa. Wenig Auswahl beim Frühstück.

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten schon längst hinter sich. Das Zimmer war zwar zufriedenstellend, aber das drumherum war äußerst armselig. Die Einrichtung des Frühstücksraum war ziemlich lieblos und die dreckigen und kaputten Möbel darin benötigen dringend Ersatz. Auch der Pool war eher dreckig und der HotTube strotzte nur so von toten Libellen und […] anderen Insekten und funktionierte auch nicht. Unter den Pooltischen häuften sich auch schon die Zigarettenstummel. Die Zimmertüren waren sehr verzogen, so dass diese nur mit lautem Geräusch geschlossen werden konnten. Wenn der Nachbar duschte, meinte man, man liegt mit diesem in der Dusche. Einzig positives waren die sehr gut schallgedichteten Fenster zur Strassenseite hin, so dass man den Verkehr tatsächlich wenig hörte. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht. Hier wird nur die relative Nähe zum Yosemite Park ausgenutzt. Soweit nicht renoviert wird, können wir das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen (Familie mit 3 Kindern). War mit Abstand das schlechteste und teuerste Hotel während unserem 4-wöchigen Aufenthalt (Rundreise) in Amerika. Mehr

Die grösste Enttäuschung unserer gesammten USA Reise: Das Hotel wirbt damit, nahe am Yosemite Park zu liegen. Zwar sind es nur 15 Meilen zur Grenze des Parks - aber 50 Meilen (also 90 minuten) zum Yosemite Valley! Angesichts dieser Tatsache ist das Hotel völlig überteuert. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmen leider nicht überein - Preis läßt sich nur aufgrund von Hochsaison in der Region rund um den Grand Canyon erklären:: Zimmer laut da direkt an der Strasse, allgemeiner Eindruck etwas abgewohnt und das Personal leider auch völlig unwissend wenn es um regionale Auskünfte geht.

Was Optik & Komfort betrifft, darf man sich nichts erwarten - aber was es verspricht, hält es auch: ein einfaches Motel zu einem (vergleichsweise) günstigen Preis unmittelbar vor dem Südportal des Yosemite NP. Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise absolut in Ordnung. Frühstücksbuffet bestand aus Kuchen, Cerealien und Heißgetränken.

Das Hotel lebt ausschliesslich von seiner Nähe zum Yosemite-Park. Eine Erneuerung wäre dringend nötig. Es war das teuerste Hotel unseres 3-wöchigen Trips und unter dem Strich das schlechteste. Am Sonntagmorgen um 9.30 Uhr war das Frühstücksbuffet bereits abgeräumt (angegebene Frühstückszeit war 7-10 Uhr) mit dem Vermerk, das leider nichts mehr übrig […] sei (sorry guys, we are out of supply). Erst nach Intervention beim Management wurde noch etwas Toast und Kaffee mürrisch aufgetischt. Mehr

Great room for the price - 2 king beds, ref/mic and clean = BIG. Only negative was that the free breakfast was cold cereal and cheap bread, coffee, OJ. No fruit, no waffle machine, no peanut better, no yogurt, etc. BUT the room was large and very comfortable, even a great desk chair.

I was so happy with our stay at this hotel. The room was huge, it fit 2 queen beds and a rollaway and still had plenty of walking room. Fridge and microwave worked great. I was really surprised at the quality of everything because I chose the hotel for the price not expecting anything. I was wrong! It was great! Even the continental breakfast was plentiful; […] nothing fancy, but good fresh food, so no complaints. I will be booking again for the spring. The location is perfect, only 20 minutes to Yosemite. The Room is Ok. The problem is, the smoke detector keeps me awake the whole night. What an experience.

Nice motel, nothing to complain. The room was quiet and clean and location is good if you are heading to or coming from Yosemite.

We only stayed a night passing through. Very easy to find, fantastic price, great pool, good lttle bar next door called Uncle Buck's where the locals did Kareoke, very funny. Unbelievable cooked breakfast for the money in a great diner attached to the hotel. Lot's of restaurants next door, we went to Denny's. Highly recommended for a stop off.

(1) Large room & bathroom. Clean & nice. (2) On the edge of town, away from Yosemite; away from the majority of traffic, but only a short distance to get to everything in town. (3) WiFi is miserable. Couldn't get connection most of the time in my room. Even in the lobby, connection was erratic and often useless. Non-secure public net. (4) Don't expect […] much for breakfast. You are far better off to stay at the Comfort Inn for the money. This place is a dump. The bathroom towels were like cardboard, the bathroom was nasty, the carpet in the room was stained all over and I couldn't stand the smell in the room. As for the pool and hot tub, if you look at the water you will see it is milky and not clean whatsoever. It is […] close by to restaurants and such, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The condition of this hotel is very sad. The base of the toilet was cracked and caulked very badly. The carpet in the room was so stained I didn't want to touch it with my bare feet. The jacuzzi plaster was discolored and rough to sit on.

Was satisfactory for the price. The pillows could've been a little plumper but aside from that I would reccommend this hotel.

The motel is neither "best" nor a "good value." At check-in the desk clerk would not honor either a AAA or AARP discount. She said we needed to notify them prior to our arrival. The assigned room was spacious but desperately in need of updating. The carpet was filthy, stains on the bedspread, and a opaque white liquid had dripped down and dried on the […] inside of the bathroom door. The faucet on the bathroom sink was so loose it lifted off the counter top when you put the water on/off. The bathtub was so flimsy that whenever you took a step the entire tub creaked. The room was adequate but he bathroom toilet had a ring around the water line and when flushed, was noisy. The front entrance was clean, but the back entrance was very dirty. It needed to be washed every day and to have the overflowing trash can emptied. Breakfast was okay, but could have offered a protein selection. I heard several different languages […] spoken in the dining room, so why not impress visitors with a better environment? A little upgraded maintenance would have helped this location near Yosemite to be more welcoming. Mehr

THIS IS MY 3RD YEAR STAYING AT THIS HOTEL AND WILL LOOK FOWARD IN STAYING AGAIN... LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT !!

I visited Yosemite for three days and spent three nights at this hotel. I had looked at other people's reviews and did not really know what to expect given that the reviews were mixed. To my surprise, everything about this room was great. The beds were comfortable, the room was very spacious, and everything else in the room worked (the AC, lamps, shower, […] TV, etc...). The breakfast although not top notch, was still very good. The presentation was great and the courteous staff made sure that all breakfast items were available as soon as something needed replenishment. The price was the most reasonable that I could find in the vicinity of the park. If I had planned for this trip earlier, I would have definitely camped in the valley, but given that I made my reservation two weeks prior to my trip I was still very satisfied with this hotel and the price. It is also very convenient that this hotel is in the middle of Oakhurst, so you have easy access to gas stations, fast foods, restaurants, grocery stores, etc... My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is the distance of this hotel to the park. From here to the Yosemite Valley is about an hour and 10 minutes driving each way. After the third day, I almost did not want to do the drive anymore. Then again the scenery is absolutely beautiful, so that makes up for the long drive. Mehr

Our stay was good. Our ratings fell in the 4 range. However, as a professional in my 70, I don't appreciate being referred to as DEAR. You don't need to post this.

The carpets were a bit old and dingy and the continental breakfast was pretty scarce and not that tasty (cold pancakes and 3oz cups for coffee just didn't cut it) However the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and clean. We all slept very well and would definitely stay here again.

I find the hotel a bit overpriced. The hotel was atmost OK.

Good location for south Yosemite entrance. Poor service and quality of additional bed. Poor breakfast and lack of sitting space for breakfast in the morning

This hotel is dirty, especially the breakfast room. Both hotel manager and employees seem to enjoy smoking outside more than to help customer.

They didn't use fitted sheets on the mattresses. The flat sheets came untucked as soon as we sat on the beds and were not covering the matress at all during the night. Disturbing to be sleeping directly on the mattress...like everyone else before us.

The breakfast was not what I expected. Hotel ran out spoons and other breakfast items. The room was ok.

Staff was very friendly and even offered to dry my clothes because the guest dryer wasn't working. Room was clean and roomy. Continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal, juice, coffee, sweet rolls or muffins, and cold pancakes that you could pop in the toaster or microwave.

I have stayed in many hotels and must say that this hotel wins the prize for 'WORST' HOTEL ever! The phone didn't work. The smoke alarm had a very bright green light which provided a huge amount of green light when the room was dark. As well, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. There was a night light which was not removable in an outlet […] at eye level (when in bed) which provided bright as day light. One of our towels appeared to have been used to wipe up the floor? It had large dirt marks on it. The walls were thin as paper and when neighbors turned on the showers, it sounded as though they were pounding on the nobs with hammers- I am not kidding. There was something going on with the floor of our shower. I chastized my son for 'jumping' in the shower but realized the next day when in the shower myself, there was something going on with the shower floor itself. I did not even bother complaining to the management when I left feeling that a hotel with this level of trouble obviously has no interest in improvement. We stayed 1 night before entering Yosemite the next day. Because we stayed during peak season, the rates were high. The surrounding area of Oakhurst has plenty of restaurants and there is a shopping complex across the street from the hotel with a Vons, CVS, and other stores if you need to load up before entering the park. -For the price you pay I would expect a newer or better up keep of the hotel. Also the contiental breakfast would ran out of food and there wasn't staff on hand to replanish it.

Hotel is in a very convenient location, and the rooms are spacious and clean, but is let down in a couple of important areas. Hotel advertises free WiFi, but it was not working for most of our 3 day stay, and when it was working it was as slow as a wet weekend. This is not an inexpensive hotel, and both my wife and I commented on how poor the continental […] breakfast was. The hotel is very well marked from the road (they also included directions when E-mailing reservation confirmation), rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool area is nice, the breakfast has good variety of food, the breakfast area is nice and specious.

It's not the Taj, but for the price it was definitely adequate. Relatively close to Yosemite, and easy to find. The rooms were outdated but clean and the staff was helpful.

On my way to Tahoe stopped one night and was pleasantly surprised. Clean and spacious rooms and the staff were very friendly. They even have a pool and jacuzzi. I did however notice a crowd of locals maybe friends of the staff who were "visiting" the pool area who were not rowdy at all just bad for business.

The hotel was easily accessible and condition was also good. But room was lacking oven or refrigerator as specified. Overall good place to stay and everything is close by.

Recently stayed here for the 4th of July since we are doing a crazy hike on July 5th...Half dome! ....This hotel looks nice and clean on the website. Wow....they cleaned up the picture really nice. This motel is more like a 1 star/ per hourly rate, aka NASTY. OMG!!! When we got to the bathroom....there's a splash of coffee on the tub that hasn't been cleaned out for years!!! Nasty!!! The tub creeks as you shower. And yes...you can hear your neighbors tube too!!! They gave us half a roll of toilet paper. I called for more, they said I needed to go down to pick it up myself!!! Geez!!! Really!!! The price alone irritates me!!! Plus, if your wanting to visit yosemite while staying here. It's not worth it! Might as well get something more expensive and closer to yosemite.
