Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 16. Feb. 2013Mich hat die zentrale Lage und der zum Buchungszeitpunkt günstige Preis angezogen. Der Service ist mittelmäßig. Die bis zu 3 Portiers langweilten sich am Eingang anstatt dem Gast beim Gepäck zu helfen. Die Concerges waren o.k.. Der Lift per Zimmerkarte gesichert und die Zimmer geräumig und leise und mit einem übergroßen TV ausgestattet. Bad könnte moderner sein. Parken sollte man besser in einem der zahlreichen Parkhäuser in der Innenstadt. Frühstück ist billiger und besser in einem der zahlreichen Coffeeshops oder Diner in der Umgebung.

"keinen Lift vorhanden !!"
Hotel war in Ordnung, das Bett war gut ! Das war schon sehr wichtig, da wir nur zum Schlafen dort waren und wir mitten in der Nacht zum Flughafen mussten. Bus zum Flughafen fährt auch in der Früh !! NUR das Hotel hat keinen Lift !! Wir zwei Frauen hatten jeder einen schweren Koffer, Tasche und Rucksack. Wir kamen gegen 23:00 Uhr ins Hotel an und mussten […] 6:00 Uhr weg. Es war entsetzlich, dass wir unsere Sachen zu Fuß über die Treppe bis zum 1. Stock schleppen mussten !! Lift ist doch MUSS für so ein Flughafen-Hotel !! MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Good price, but you pay for it."
I was excited about the $79 a night price, we stayed for 7 nights as we were traveling for pleasure. I would say the price was right and close to the airport along with shopping and restaurants. I wouldn't say that the wake up calls from housekeeping on two occasions was welcoming. The housekeeping would call at 8:45 am to see if you wanted cleaning […] done that day, mind you I had the privacy sign on the door. My last day of our stay there, I heard the phone ringing in every surrounding room as this must be a common practice. One morning I woke at 5 am to someone pounding a hammer at the stairs. "Good price, good location to airport"
The hotel is thisclose to the Portland International Airport, which is why my husband and I stayed there (6am flight). It was clean but definitely an older hotel. The neighborhood gave us pause- we checked that our rental car was locked way too many times! "A little dated but great service"
The hotel room and lounge areas were a bit dated, needed grout cleaning in the bathroom and the whole place smelled musty and stuffy (it was raining the whole time too however). The service in the lounge was very good, the staff was very on top of us and got us everything we asked for in a very timely manner. The manager Tom also accommodated me in […] a way for business that was outside the scope of what he needed to do and it was very convenient for my trip and a last minute meeting. The hotel itself was great for the price. The room was very spacious and clean. Loved the amenities that included the microwave and coffee maker which saved some bucks. The lobbies were clean but only had stairs to move to the second floor which did make it a little hard for heavier luggage. Two thumbs down on the service especially at the front desk. […] The guy who checked us in was stern, not very personable, and rushed through the details of the stay. I had to ask multiple questions to get the feel of parking, meals, and services. "It had a bed....."
We stayed for one night on our return trip from Disneyland. Air conditioner wws broken on a hot night and there was a cockroach in our guest book. Beds were hard and the view was the roof. Not impressed but the hotel was very close to pdx.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

We were told by Hotels.com that we would be able to park at the Red Lion while we took a flight out of state. This is NOT true! When we arrived at the hotel the manager refused to uphold what we had been told with a "too bad so sad" attitude. He blamed hotels.com and us for the error. Overall, our stay was nice. Only complaint was one day our room was not cleaned and we came back to unmade beds and no clean towels. Other than that it was clean. "Location is difficult to find."
The restaurant and bar close early so eat before you arrive if you have a late arrival. The hotel is actually very close to airport but unless you take the 205 exit and go straight to hotel you will spend time winding around Portland being lost.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

the hotel's staff was very accommodating and willing to help with a couple 'issues'. Several lamps were unplugged and very difficult to plug back in - Kevin was quick to fix. The shuttle to the airport (where one gets the train into town) was very handy. The people in the room above us were extremely inconsiderate - arriving around midnight - and my […] roommate was unable to sleep at all. "Stay elsewhere, not a typical Red Lion"
Other than being close to the airport, this Red Lion is masquerading as a Ramada Inn circa 1985. No elevator, musty smell, front desk errors, and more. Beds were comfortable and shuttle staff were friendly and helpful but that was it on the positive side.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Dog friendly"
Room was cleaned everyday. Staff was conscious of "do not disturb". Noise complaint was handled immediatly. Comfortable beds. VERY accommodating to my dogs.
