I think from now on I will stay at Hyatt Place every time I travel.

I visit Louisville at least once a year and stay at downtown Hotels like the Galt House but none compare with the relaxed and peaceful stay I enjoyed here. I plan to return to the Hyatt Place next trip. Everything was great and the people very warm.

If I could stay in a Hyatt Place on every trip I would.

Hotel is conveniently located in the eastern suburb of Louisville. It is easy to get on to the highways, lots of restaurants near by. Hotel is easy to get to and from, parking is a breeze. Reception is friendly, staff are friendly. Complimentary breakfast is average to below average, although I liked the granola. Bathroom is cramped. Free wi-fi is a […] definite plus. Beds are above average, not too comfortable. We had to ask for shower caps and body lotion; was not in the room already (as we expected). Mehr

The location was perfect. It met the expectations of several different families-clean, easy to access, close to shopping malls. The location also offered an easy drive to a wide variety of food choices along with bowling alley and movie theater, yet close enough to the fair grounds to attend the National Farm Machinery Show easily. We'll definitely choose this hotel next time we're in Louisville. Very comfortable room and bed and the staff were extremely knowledgable and helpful. Breakfast was surprisingly good. (It was FREE, people! My expectations were low but SO not met.) And, yes, the bathrooms were compact. Good choice by the architects/designers to optimize living area instead. […] We enjoyed having a separate sleeping and living area, and it was useful to have an in-room fridge. not up to Hyatt Place standards. Bathroom was super tiny and old, Doors and trim were old and worn down. Needs to be updated.

First off this was one of the friendliest service staffs I've ever had contact with at any hotel. Everything was well explained by front desk staff. Room was comfortable and very nice. This place would be a bit more expensive if it had a downtown location, but the location was perfect for us to get around because it was just off the interstate that […] took you straight into downtown. Great hotel, friendly staff! New and clean!

i must say when i was looking for a hotel room that was clean & well kept i found the Hyatt place, it met all my needs & i would recommend this hotel to anyone, ty to the staff & ty for the price & ty for being so convenient.

My wife and I stayed one night while looking for our next home in the surrounding counties. Room was clean and comfortable. Noise is my number one concern....either there were quiet guests nearby or no guests because I never heard anyone. Traffic noise consisted of the random car with bass speakers or a noisy muffler. I have no complaints what so ever. The only "fault" I could find was the bathroom was rather small...but in the big scheme of things how much time do you stay in the bathroom when staying in a hotel? Nice place, clean, very comfortable, quiet and all the hotel help was very personable.

This hotel was the most gracious hotel we had ever stayed in. It had everything you could possibly think of for comfort during travel. We hope to have a return visit!

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised at the nice ammenities here. The staff was very effecient. We enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. I would definetely recommend this hotel. And, will stay here again.

A great one night stay....nice location, quick and courteous check-in/check-out, comfortable room and excellent complimentary breakfast....will definitely return if ever in Louisville again.

We've stayed in a Hyatt Place before so we when booking our trip to Louisville, it seemed natural to do so again. Overall, the hotel is fantastic! It's very classy and well decorated. They offer many great services at no additional cost. The continental breakfast is pretty simple but it's fresh and well maintained. It's so nice to have 24 hour food […] service available as well (even though we didn't use it this time. I really don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. Our room had a slight musty odor when we first walked in but it wasn't overpowering and after just a few seconds, we no longer noticed it. Everything was well kept and comfortable. The air wasn't turned on when we got to the room so it was a bit stuff (maybe causing the odor?) but we turned the window unit on and were cooled within minutes. We love the layout of the room. It's very comfortable to be able to rest on the couch and watch TV instead of always having to be in bed. There was enough room for my husband and I plus much more! Location wise, there are so many great things to do in the area. We checked out the Oxmoor Mall just a few miles away and it was fantastic. Plenty of good stores and a good experience. There are also a LOT of good restaurants available nearby. The hotel is about 10 miles away from downtown Louisville. I will definitely be staying in a Hyatt Place again, including this one if we ever go back to Louisville. Mehr

Hotel is really nice with great ambiance. Room was also very comfortable except for: 1. Washroom in room was very small, tightly put together and very inconvenient to use. 2. Elevator was making really bad voice to the point that it was very obvious that something is not right. 3. I am not big breakfast person and so I just had fruit chunks in plate. […] First bite and I realized that fruit has went sour with really bad smell. Mehr

The rooms were clean. Front desk was very friendly and helpful with places around to eat. 3 complaints I had: AC was ineffective on keeping the room at a comfortable temperature at night. 2. noise level on that night was all night long. kids running down the halls.( I didn't call the front desk, but probably should have) 3. Over sold the rooms. I ended up with a king bed for 4 people. They were down right rude about it. Hotels.com took care of my problem and made it right. Breakfast also wasn't the breakfast they sold us on. Felt ripped off in many ways.

I loved everything about this hotel and usually I am very hard to please! The room was fabulous. It was soooo spacious. The flat screen tv was an added bonus! Breakfast offered a nice variety. The staff was very, very polite and pleasant. Bathroom was a little small, but sufficient.

We were in town for a friends wedding and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did. Staff was INCREDIBLE and room as spotless, beautiful, and wonderfully comfortable. We had friends come over a few nights and having the extra "living room" section and small bar area was a god-send. Staff was always welcoming and helpful -no matter what the hour or […] situation. Breakfast was mostly grains, breads and fruit but they have an extensive cafe menu you can always order from. Location couldn't have been better. Direct access to most of the major interstates in the area (about 15-20 min to ANYWHERE). Bed was firm but very comfortable. Amenities in the shower smelled great. Would definitely stay again. This is the second time we've stayed at a Hyatt Place. This one is located conveniently near many great restaurants, shopping, and access to I-64. The staff are always present, knowledgable, and courteous. Rooms are clean, breakfast and coffee there every morning at 6:30, big screens in the rooms, functioning fitness equipment, just a clean, comfortable […] place to stay while away from home. Also, the rooms are suite-style, with a separate small living room away from the bedroom if you need the extra space to work while the hubby sleeps. Mehr

The rooms are good sized. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Love the Hyatt chain!

Very nice hotel! The staff was the FRIENDLIEST I've met in a long time. I will be staying here everytime I come to Lville.

This is a pretty good hotel with exceptional service. There were some very noisy neighbors across the hall, and when I phoned the front desk, they addressed the situation right away. The breakfast is okay, not great, but then again, it's included in the price so I didn't expect a gourmet meal. The coffee is pretty weak. When my wife poured herself a […] cup, we both noticed it's watery condition and notified the attendant. He promptly brewed another pot of just-as-watery coffee and said, "Oh yeah, that ought to fix it." I guess we just like our coffee stronger than most. Mehr
