Business-Hotel mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. In der Innenstadt ist alles mit leichtem Fussmarsch erreichbar.

Hotel ist Central gelegen. Mein Zimmer war geräumig , schön und sauber. Pool und Sauna waren OK, obwohl ich eine Kakerlake in der Sauna hatte. Ich denke, das kann mal vorkommen. Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich auswärts gegessen habe. Alles in allem hat mir alles gut gefallen

Food and staff/service were fantastic.First room we were sent to smelt of mildew, phone didnt work and the toilet was flushing constantly. The staff upgraded us to a Deluxe room. There was no couch/table to eat room service from, so we asked to be moved to a room with a table. We were then upgraded to a Deluxe Suite. This hotel is VERY well maintained with a staff that is keenly attentive to the needs of its guests. The only drawback is the absence of wifi in the hotel rooms. Wifi is available in the lobby, with only a cable connection available in the room - for a fee. I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The room was a great size and staff were very friendly. The proximity to the city and transport was excellent.

was good except stayin with in a room with a total of 4 men and no windows able to be opned the room generated a smell quickly should be able to open windows even if its only a small amout

I hadn't stayed here before so I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. My only complaint is that the parking is not signposted so it took me 2 trips around the block then rang the hotel. There were buses parked in the driveway so it's hard to see. Apart from that the staff are helpful, the rooms are spacious and there's a bar which also serves […] coffee. Breakfast is very reasonably priced and discounted if you pay when you check in. There's a full breakfast with many options. It's right next to Central Station and walking distance to Chinatown and the Entertainment Centre. Buses are close by as well. I'd stay here again. It's been my favourite hotel in Sydney so far. The Sebel in Surry Hills is a fantastic hotel. Front desk staff are really helpful and friendly, not that I want them to be my new best friend, but I do appreciate genuinely friendly hotel staff and Sebel has them. I ordered room service for dinner and it was superb. The kind of meal I'd expect to get in a nice restaurant - fresh, well cooked and beautifully […] presented. It was brought to my room by another really nice staff member (does the Sebel have a monopoly on great people?). The bed was SO comfy and the room was spacious. The Sebel is in a great location - close to Central Station for trains and buses. It's a really short walk to cafes and restaurants on Crown Street in Surry Hills or to Chinatown as well as a 15 minute walk into the centre of the city for shopping (if that's your thing). I've stayed here quite a few times before and I'll definitely be back. The only thing I regret is that this stay was for work and I didn't have time to lounge around and fully appreciate the Sebel. Excellent hotel and exceptional service of staff who showed us how to save fees for the internet access (just join the free "The GHA Experience"). A really great experience in Australia where internet access is usually quite expensive (and slow...).

Not a great experience. I would encourage people to continue to search. Price was higher than the Marriott at Hyde Park which was a far better hotel.

This hotel is very nice, the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. It is very close to all of the major attractions in Sydney (walking distance); the breakfast buffet is spectacular and the adjoining restaurant /bar has great food and affordable happy hour. I was disappointed that the Sauna did not work ; but overall my stay was very pleasant. […] I would definitely stay there again. The Sebel Surry Hills is in a great location. The Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful as we discovered on finding our room was not up to the standard we had expected when we booked. We booked a superior room and were given a very standard tired room. Good location but check that the room has a/c if it's Winter as they (Desk staff) stated - several times - that they turn the cooling off during Winter and my room, on initial entry at 4pm was 25C and stayed that way for the next 16 hours - they gave me a fan! - until I got a room change and upgrade - thanks to the Managert - and no thanks to the Desk […] staff - who just kept saying "It's Winter and we dont need cooling".. Ha! It was 25C outside and very stuffy and unpleasant in the room at 4 pm in the afternoon. After many complaints , next morning, he Manager took over and things got resolved - quickly. I arrived into Sydney after the 14 hour flight from LAX very early (6am) in the morning. I took a cab to the hotel and hoped that I would be able to get into my room early. Unfortunately the hotel was booked solid the night before, and thus I had to wait until 2pm to check-in. The front desk allowed me to store my bags with them, and I was happy to […] find that they had already taken them up to my when I came back for check-in that afternoon. The room was comfortable and the bed was superb. The couch had a large stain on it from a prior guest spilling something over it. Likely it was cleaned as it had no offensive smell, but it was visibly noticeable. The television left a bit to be desired in terms of channel selection. And the internet is fairly pricey, thankfully I know to travel with a Broadband radio when in Australia. Mehr

The hotel is in a great location, near Central Station. For that alone makes the hotel worth staying. However, we came when the hotel was very full and they did not always provide us with four towels. Also the heater was not working well, so they provided a portable heater, which corrected the problem. Over all, we enjoyed the hotel.

With respect to the Sebel Surry Hills, I was bitterly disappointed, and I have lived in some pretty bad hotels around the world so do know what I am saying. The room was full of mildew and there was no ventilation (This was room 311 if anyone really is interested), The air conditioning did not work and there was no air extraction in the bathroom, the […] room actually smelled bad. On the second day of my stay I complained and took down to the reception one of their flannels that I had wiped the windows of my room with, it was completely black (seriously) and I mean black and caked both sides with mildew. I asked the receptionist whether they thought this was appropriate and she said no, obviously, I suggested that I would like to talk with someone from housekeeping but of course this never took place and I did not have the time to actively follow it up. In addition, the hotel took two complete days to get e-mail connected to my room. I was told that sometimes it took a week for that floor to get reconnected. Eventually I managed to contact the IT suppliers of the hotel who gave me specific instructions of how to modify my computer to receive e-mail. As if that wasn’t bad enough I was charged for temporary e-mail access which I never had and unfortunately only noticed this when I scrutinized my bill on my return to Perth. Quite honestly I wanted to get out of what in my opinion is an overpriced third rate doss house and simply signed the bill to get away. My absolute advice to you is do not recommend customers to this hotel ever, it is a waste of money, it is damp, smelly and has rooms breeding mold and mildew. A visit from the Health and Safety Inspectorate should be recommended. Mehr

The service was excellent, while the hotel itself was nice, but nothing spectacular. If you want a reasonable place that's nice and serves it's purpose, this place is great. I would stay there again.

Hotel condition was ok overall. Front desk staff failed to follow up and get things done as promised on more than two occasions. Construction on the 8th floor started at 6:30 A.M. right over my head as I stayed on the 7th floor for one night. When contacted the front desk, I was told that I had to wait till 8:00 A.M. to complain to morning shift for […] construction noise. Just a bizarre series of events that the hotel staff could have avoided by paying attention to customer's complaint and concerns. Not very close to main attractions in Sydney. I would not stay there even for half the price next time. Friend of mine stayed at hotel Mercur and loved it. Mehr

We found that the location of this hotel was great for seeing the different parts of Sydney. Darling Harbour is an easy 15 minute walk and it's pretty easy to get to all of the other attractions we wanted to see. The hotel was clean and well furnished, the bed was comfortable and the pool and gym facilities were very good. The staff were very friendly […] and didn't mind us checking in early after just arriving from the airport. Our only negative point was internet access in the hotel - they have a small business centre with some computers but it's very expensive to use that. Internet in the room was also very expensive. Instead, you can choose from several internet cafes nearby at more reasonable rates. Mehr

Hotel is a couple of short blocks from Central Station and it's an easy stroll to most attractions, including Haymarket, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, and Hyde Park. The accommodation is adequate and the front desk staff are very helpful. However, my stay was marred by the poor quality of the housekeeping: I had to keep asking that supplies such as shampoo, […] lotion, coffee, and tea be replenished. Things that I dropped on the floor remained on the floor even after the room was "cleaned." Also, the bathroom had a few strands of hair that clearly weren't mine. Bottom line: Stay here if you're not very particular about the quality of the housekeeping and care more about location. Mehr

离中央车站很近，交通便利，且方便步行至中国城，吃中餐方便。闹中取静，离主要景点都不算太远。

Hotel bien placé, à 5 min de Central station, 10 min de Chinatown et Sydney entertainement center. Restau indien succulent à 5 min. Points négatifs : le sauna qui ne fonctionne pas correctement et le restau qui est à mon goût un peu cher. Service impécable et personnel serviable.

Hôtel correctement situé a proximité des bus mais qui commence à viellir. Le ménage laisse vraiment à désirer (Chambre, piscine, ascenceurs) et pas de double vitrage donc du bruit !

Molto comodo il lettone. Bella la piscina e la sauna. In buona posizion e a due passi dalla stazione.

Very closed from central station / china town, george street and crowne street. Huge room. Nice swimming pool / jacuzzi / sauna. Very correct and good value (price / quality / location)
