DoubleTree by Hilton Oak Ridge - Oak Ridge

I found the beds a little uncomfortable, although I have slept in worse. My biggest complaint is that the walls were too thin. I could hear the neighbors conversations pretty clearly. Also, I would wake up to my neighbors alarm clocks.

Not a whole lot to do on a working weekend. DoubleTree made it an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is older but in very good condition. The room was great, internet was fast, TV was good, and the bed comfortable.

No complaints, very nice room and TV. Very quiet. Worth the money.

WE left for the Georgia Tennessee football game in Knoxville with a reservation at the Doubletree at Oak Ridge. On the way we realized our GPS was not working and called and ask the exit number off i-40. We were told by a very nice lady exit 356--which we wrote down. Then we decided to go on to Knoxville without checking in to the hotel. After a very […] late game we drove to exit 356. When we exited we saw no signs or anything, so we called again. We got a very rude young man who said it was 376. We questioned him--saying we had been told 356. He said no--go back to 356. When we got there we called again. Guess what--he said go back to 356!!! So, we drove 40 miles extra becasue he worked at a hotel that he did not know how to get to. He never even said he was sorry--in fact he remained rude!!!!! Mehr

The staff was very friendly and professional. Good location. I don't know how housekeeping kept tabs on our group, but they knew when we were out and cleaned the room without us catching them in the room. One day we were only out of the room for 20-30 minutes at a time. This was a real nice stay.

Hotel is nice, but expensive for the area. Why not have a room like mine for out of town business people, maybe staying a few nights? Have a "downsized" or cheaper room for someone just looking for a bed and a shower, who has business to tend to away from the room. Nice room and hotel but pricey!

Upon check in each member of our party was given a warm fresh baked chocolate chip cookie, a smile and welcome from the receptionist. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Every person in that hotel when you saw them said hello and smiled. It was a very pleasant stay.

Recently made smoke free. 20+ years of old smoke still remains as a faint odor. Good place to stay while in oak ridge. Good restaurant too _

This is the best hotel for those visiting Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Comfortable big rooms, clean, good price, close to lots of restaurants, and a friendly staff. The warm cookies upon arrival are a nice touch !

We stayed in the executive floor. This came with a complimentry breakfast room. The food was substandard especially the dried out eggs. The only thing different in our rooms between the prices of a standard room and executive room would be the same floor breakfast and nicer higher view of the town. Planned romantic getaway with hubby for one night at the Doubletree Hotel. I have drove by this hotel for many years but never needed to stay there as I live local. What a shock!!! The hotel is beautiful, clean and has a wonderful restaurant and lounge!!! The room was the most luxurious room we've ever stayed in!!!! The decor was like something out […] of a magazine. The bed was one you never want to get out of!!! Large flat screen TV made hubby happy and the shower....I am picky about beds and showerheads.....the shower had a rain fall showerhead with plenty of pressure and we were on the third floor. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. There are many shopping and eating opportunities within one mile of hotel. From start to finish, this hotel knows what they are doing in the way of customer service and knowing how to capture repeat business!!!! We'll be going back for sure!!! I can't wait!!!! Mehr

This hotel is probably the nicest one in the Oak Ridge area! Comfortable and Clean. My only problem was television that played all night for the first two nights of my stay and I was the one that detected that it was located in their accounting office which was directly under my room. Once I suggested that they check that office the Television noise […] stopped. Mehr

My wife and I rescue/rehab pit bulls, and we were in town for an event. Our stay at the Oak Ridge Doubletree exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was wonderful and offered us (including our 2 pits) warm welcomes. The cleaning staff was just as warm and very efficient. Another great thing about the hotel was the food. The in-hotel establishment […] had a somewhat small but EXCELLENT menu, and the bartender was just as experienced and competent as the cooks. We don't normally get such a warm welcome, but the Oak Ridge Doubletree has bumped (but just barely) the Knoxville Crowne Plazza as our favorite dog-friendly hotel, anywhere. Mehr

Very comfortable for an extended stay

Although the reservation made on hotels.com wasn't quite the way we wanted it when we arrived, the staff of the hotel was awesome. They put all of us on the same floor and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay.
