das Hotel liegt sehr gut zum Flughafen von Calgary und zu einer neh gelegenen Einkaufszone. Positive und schnell war der Abholservice von und zum Flughafen. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr sauber, sehr dunkel, da direkt vor dem Fenster die Wand des Restaurants stand. Andere Zimmer verdienen vielleicht eine bessere Bewertung

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it had airport parking . I did not realize that was an extra $30.00. The rooms are really small and need an upgrade. It was clean.

So we had a layover , the problem was the shuttle service. We picked this hotel for transportation too and from the airport. When we finally checked in it was after midnight , when we tried to book the return shuttle trip the desk clerk said it was full only 9 spots for 5 am trip. So we either had to take a $30 cab ride that they refused to pay for. […] or get the 4 am shuttle. Not impressed. it is about a 20 min ride but they refuse to run the shuttle except on the top of the hour. i will be contacting a few people on this and have my taxi voucher .. Mehr

You would think that in an English speaking country, the hotel staff would be able to speak English.

It's what it is, acceptable for the needs. Not the nicest hotel in the area, but it meets the immediate needs. Mostly needs updated.

Please remove this from your list of hotel "recommends" my impression to this point of hotels.com has been very satisfying and I use your service with confidence. I struggle to understand the business strategy behind supporting a hotel such as the Travelodge near Calgary airport? It is at best a sub standard accommodation and would challenge it would […] have a difficult time passing any hotel standards for cleanliness or professionalism. this hotel had everything I needed at my fingertips. The staff went out of their way to help me out. I will be telling my many friends of my great stay.

Overall, it is ok to stay at this hotel. When I was booking, I have seen a statement “20% off at your stay” I thought that we would get the 20% of deal while we checked out. So that statement needs to be replaced in order not to confuse shoppers.

I have so many things to say about this hotel but all i can say is the hotel was very comfortable and extreamly clean. The only thing that we had a issue with was the one ice machine on the 4th floor! And the last night we were there that one machine was even broken! This is a very large hotel, There sould be a ice machine on every level for the confort […] of the guess!!!! Mehr

After the experience at this hotel I would never stay at another Travellogde again. In the advertisment they said there was a whirlpool, there wasn't, the halways stunk, the elevator sounded like it was going to die at any time. In the room the air conditioning didn't hardly work, it was 29 degrees and very hot in our room. The window had no screen, […] the blowdryer in the bathroom had no cover on it there was just the element. To me that is a fire hazzard. Thank God we didn't have any children with us as they could of fallen out the window or burnt themselves on the blow dryer. Over all the only thing that was good about it was the location. Mehr

The hotel travel lodge airport in calgary was GROSS we actually had to go buy our own sheets and blankets. There was broken glass and food on the box springs. The beds looked like a science experiment that went wrong. The floors looked like they have never been cleaned the walls were stained and patched up poorly the air conditioner cord was taped up […] it was a disgusting place to stay I would never stay here again even if I was paid! I have a lot of pictures of this room and plan on sending them to the head office Mehr

Hallway and room smelled like the bubble gum cleaner they used in grade school but only was masking smoke and some other nasty smells. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Room had a decent size flat screen that didn't work. The outside and the lobby are nice. They need to redo the rooms to make it a decent place to stay.

Hotel is ok if you just want to spend a night but very expensive in comparison to the comfort / amenities. Extremely small rooms and old building. The swimming pool is very tiny and just a pool for namesake. Customer service is poor.

Complained every night I was there that the room next to me was literally partying all night. They did nothing to resolve the situation and when checking out offered me a free breakfast for 5 nights of no sleep because of the partying. I'll never ever go back

te pool was so cold and it was 27 in Calagry at the time the rooms need to have a up date and service could be much better.

This is no more than a place to lay your head before your flight. There are no sidewalks leading to a variety restaurants. The rooms were reasonably clean but rather run down. Service seemed fine. The shuttle to the airport was prompt and convenient for an early morning flight.

Nothing special but no complaints (well, some of the desk staff seem to have no ability to smile or make eye contact). Common areas (lobby, hallways, elevator) needed cleaning the days I was there.

Although there is nothing fancy about this hotel the staff was very helpful and the room was clean. For our purposes it was great.

As two retired school teachers having just come in from Mexico on the '1AM WJ flight' with 2 dogs we were treated very rudely by the front staff. Checking in at 2.30AM, we could have used some help with our luggage, but instead the 'porter' walked past us, shoved the cart by the door and walked into the front office and closed the door. We asked the […] front desk for assistance and he POINTED to the cart and watched as we struggled to tote 4 suitcases,two carry on, a dog crate and 2 dogs down to our room! We should have screamed at the idiot then, but instead took it upon ourselves to talk to the manager in the morning, who could only apologize of course. Perhaps the next traveller that this happens too will be more forth coming and direct their anger at the correct person. We were too flabbergasted to speak! Mehr

Traveller's should be advised about a $50 deposit that is required when a reservation is booked and pre-paid - AND DON'T DRINK THE BOTTLED WATER - THEY CHARGE YOU $ (and put it on the desk with a glass, NOT in the refrigerator)

Was very happy with the staff. They are good at being on time for shuttle to the airport, and also when we needed pickup at the airport. Very good about leaving your vehicle while gone.

This hotel is poorly maintained

We arrived at this place late at night and it was very creepy. The place was run down, the elevators were loud vandalized and the room was small. Pay a few extra dollars for a nicer place.

Booked and paid on line and hotel was sold out when we got there. They managed to find us a small, smelly room with twin beds, when we had paid for doubles and a refrig and microwave. Did we get a reduced price, of course not. Place is grim.

make sure u have 50.00 cnd for deposit and u have pay for the water in the room other then that not bad.

The first night we stayed, the pool was out of order. Upon check-out, my 6 year old left her Nintendo DS game under her pillow. We called to get it back, but the cleaning staff claimed to not have found it.

the rooms are very small and not updated, room/maintenance service was poor, restaurant and lounge is misleading (one staff for both) and small. hotel definitely not worth the price. staff were nice though, not their fault not enough help.

The service was acceptable at the front desk, but as we were a party of five and needed a shuttle to the airport early in the am, they could not accomodate us. The hotel was under major renos, so the parking was limited. The one elevator did not work. The room needed a good vacuum.

This hotel has seen better days. Room was cramped, outdated and dirty. Bathroom really small. Check-in area had strong chlorine smell from pool. Took 3 tries for front desk to get room keys to work. Same problem for others. Staff didn't seem to care. Room had strong smell of disinfectant as if to clean up a pet's mess. If you are on vacation and want […] a happy time,I'd look elsewhere unless the cheapness and closeness to the airport is more important to you than quality. Mehr

This hotel is reasonably priced and is good for one night if you've just arrived from the airport or you are flying out the next day. I wouldn't want to spend any more time in the small, worn rooms. The staff, however, was extremely helpful in providing a shuttle service, wake up calls, etc.
