Good hotle to stay at if you are looking for a place to stay for a night. Breakfast needs big improvment as eggs were not good

We needed a spot to stay and reserved a week ahead of time. We were greeted by friendly staff with everything ready to go. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

The staff was very helpful. Gave us another room after the first room smelled of smoke from last guest.The breakfast was very good. There was only one problem/the pool and hot tub were not very clean. Both needed cleaning/algae build up was not good.

But the hallways had a musty smell. Decent hotel for the money. The complementary breakfast was very good.

tv only had half of the channels and they could not fix. There was no replenishing when the room was cleaned

Everything was well above expectations. People were very polite and helpful.

Very comfortable beds and an outstanding shower.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great room with big comfy bed and cure little balcony. Close to the mall and plenty of food selection close by. also very near downtown! I would stay again.

East Towne Suites has been our "go-to" motel when staying in Madison. The breakfast is always good, the pool is big, the hot tub is nice, and it's easy to get to from the interstate. Also close to shopping and dining. Very good bang for the buck!

We rather enjoyed the stay at East Suites. Nice, convenient location, tons and tons of restaurants nearby. Convenient drive to area suburbs and downtown, close to the airport and highways. Hot breakfast every morning! Bacon always makes me smile. Staff was courteous, the room was clean. Room was quiet, too. The place was packed to the rafters with guests, […] but once you shut the door, you didn't hear the other guests. They sell snacks and microwaveable foods at the front desk, as well as some medicine and basic toiletries. Only downside was no soda machine on the floor we stayed on, we had to go downstairs to the lobby across from the pool and spa. There was room in the elevator lobby on the third floor for one, but there was only an ice machine. We plan on staying there again on our next trip there. Mehr

Was passing through Madison and had a one night stay at this Best Western Suites. Hotel was very comfortable. Got a hot breakfast the next morning on real dishes (no stirofoam.) Forgot my toothpaste and staff gladly gave me a couple packets. Courteous staff, close but not too close to hightway and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Good hotel in a nice location by the mall.

This is easily the best hotel for the price. The rooms are immaculately clean, the staff perfectly friendly and helpful, and the location great. The prices at the hotel shop are even reasonable! The only catch: no donuts at breakfast. Note that it's not in walking distance of downtown or the university, but it's surrounded by tons of stores and restaurants, […] and downtown is a quick drive away. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Mehr

I needed to book a room in Madison, WI at the last minute, I called one other hotel and was given a take it or leave it attitude, so I went with hotels. com and choose Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with my stay and how they were able to accommodate me. I would stay there again.

WAS ONLY THERE FOR ONE NIGHT; NICE BREAKFAST BUFFET; WISH WE WERE THERE LONG ENOUGH TO USE THE POOL AND HOT-TUB. STAFF WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY NICE. BUILDING A LITTLE OLDER AND SHOWING IT'S AGE.

Hotel needs a good cleaning and face lift, staff was friendly. Breakfast needs work, ended up going across street and get real food. bed was overly firm woke up with sore back the old saying you get what you pay for...

The staff was friendly; our room was quiet and fresh; the pools were clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again.

We have been coming to Best Western for 4 years now and have enjoyed its cleanest and its location near the East Town Mall. The only thing we were disappointed in was the swimming pool, way to cold to swim in.

The front desk person was rude..we asked him if we could check out 30 mins after 11 and said no and that we would be charged an entire day. So he said if you dont check out within the next 10 mins you are going to be charged!! talk about bad customer service.

Incredibly cute suite that was comfy and really nice. Nothing super fancy but it was an amazing deal for the great price. The location was so convenient too!

We spent three nights here while in town for a wedding. The room was clean, and quiet and conveniently located on the east side of town. The biggest challenge was the bed being too soft, by the third night, I slept part of the time on the firmer couch. If you like soft beds, fine. Only other complaint, is the TV--no PBS available.

Like the other reviews mentioned, the decor at this hotel is very outdated, BUT the hotel is very clean (and I'm very picky about hotel cleanliness), the room was big, and the bed was very comfortable. So, for the price, it was a fantastic deal! The indoor pool seemed to be very popular, my husband said the free hot breakfast was "better than most". […] The "fitness center" was ok -- the cardio equipment had torn displays (one treadmill, one stair-stepper, and one bike) but they all worked perfectly fine -- and the weight machine appeared to be new. Overall, if I was passing through Madison, I would definitely stay here again if I could get a good rate. Mehr

the indoor swimming area was very nice.. clean,nice hot tub. nice open glass view. breakfast was very average. room was clean but a little dated. bed mattress was better than average.

From the outside the hotel building itself looks rather old but I found the room to be updated and very clean. I had a very comfortable stay and I think this was an excellent value for the price.

Very nice place to stay and also very clean. Went down for a Badger game. The breakfast was excellent.

This is a nice hotel on a budget. The front desk staff were very friendly and even let us check in over 1hr early. Our room was nice and clean. When we first opened the door there was a hint of a musty smell but as you walked further into the room the smell disappeared. The bed was firm (too firm for my back problems). In the morning there was a breakfast […] of waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereal, juice, milk and coffee. I was suprised by the variety available. This restaurant is in a nice location right off the interstate and easy to find. It is also located near several restaurants, most within walking distance. I would stay here again. Mehr

the hotel has some wear and tear but overall it was clean and quiet. Easy access to meals and stores. Hot tub was a nice feature at the end of the day.

The only complaint on had was the hair dryer didn't work and also the iron. I alway bring my own just incase the ones at the hotel don't work. This is the first time they did not. Otherwise, the breakfast was excellent. the person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Very nice hotel.

This was not my first time staying here. It is awesome for the price. It's location is perfect and will entice you to spend money because all of the places you need to shop and handle business are right there within walking distance or a QUICK drive. I will stay there again!

Hotel was well maintained and clean with a number of conveniences (exercise facility, pool, computer for guests) and included a full (pretty decent) breakfast buffet. Room was comfortable and included a sofa bed. My only complaint was the soap was not changed in 3 days although they probably would have done so if I had asked.

It could use a make over.
