This hotel has to be one of the WORSE EVER!! First of all, the neighborhood leaves alot to be desired. If you have small kids, DO NOT GO HERE!! Secondly, the rooms left TONS to be desired. The floor, walls, bathroom ALL where dirty. The beds had bedbugs AND the room smelled like URINE! It was very disgusting and we got out of there as fast as we could. […] DO NOT GO HERE!! Had a lot of stains and looked dirty

The only thing I would recommend is that the linens (towels & wash rags) be kept up todate. They were like using old gym towels from high school gym class. They were clean but way outta date and over used. I could almost see through them but all & all it's a great place to stay.

This was one of the worst ever!!! The carpet, walls and bathroom was stained and dingy. Overall not very appealing! The beds had bed bugs towels were stinky and service from the staff SUCKED!! I highly recommend ANOTHER hotel. The price we paid for this one was vastly overpriced for what we got.

First I would like to say there were no door sweep on the door so I was awaken by a large insect crawling across my face which I had to kill along with 3 others coming in from the doorway. I was forced to use my bed sheet to cover the opening. Secondly, there was no batteries in my remote and tv would shut off sometimes when you changed the channel. […] No clean towels were in the room so after making my 2nd trip to the front desk I was given two small hand towels that they use as towels, plus these towels were very ruff like they were meant for an industrial purpose. The room had a strong smell of cigarettes. The shower curtain was midewed. Continuously overnight one of the patrons' auto alarm kept going off. As soon as I arrived at the Inn, i was approached by an individual soliciting help both monetary and to stay with me (female).

convenient location right off I-10. Plenty of shops in surrounding neighborhood, Room was comfortable, bed was comfy n clean, Bathrooms and lavatory needed cleaning though. Woman's hair dried in sink and stuck on. Price was right for this deluxe kingbed room.

My only complaint is they seemed to be always out of extra pillows. A king size bed, with only three standard pillows, is passable for one person. Not for two or more.

Worst hotel, I've stayed in, if it wasnt that I arrived very late at night, I would have looked for a different hotel, to start this hotel does not have any maintenance, sheetrock on the walls is peeling all over, bed was on top of 2X4 frame that you could see, I could feel the matress springs in my back. The staff was curtious and professional. The rooms were clean but in need of renovations. The location was great for going downtown to the riverwalk and the Alamo, We did not have any problems, but the neighborhood wasn't the greatest. Not a lot of restaraunts in the immediate area.

I felt the room had bugs and the rooms were clean they still had spiderwebs,fleas, just nasty. The people behind the front desk were nice.

first the pool only had two feet of water and that was green,we found dog poop in our room,the toilet was leaking all week,had to request towels everytime,NEVER EVER WILL I STAY THERE AGIAN.

It was nothing like the time we stayed before. We was disappointed when we got there. If it wasn't prepaid we would have went somewhere else.

This was a ok stay at this Hotel, Needed to be updated bad, beds were old and needed to be changed out. Paint was pealing on all walls, the floors needed to be replaced bad. It was just a old hotel that needed to be updated.

While traveling on business, we found the room comfortable and quiet. The cost was affordable and the value good.

We needed a cheaper place to stay when we came to visit. The parking lot and other businesses in the area were "shadey" but our room was nice enough to sleep in. You always get what you pay for.

My family and I stayed at this hotel because of the photos and the price wasnt bad. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to swim in the pool but when we got there..there was no water. Customer service was rude when asked for extra pillows or help. The phones in the room were not working. The door looked like someone broke in before..bad area in […] san antonio..the only good thing I can say is that the rooms were clean, but take an air freshner they smell bad...we rented 3 rooms all were the same. I must say that after reading the reviews I did not want to stay and I went inside and I asked the front desk and told her about the reviews and that I wanted to see the room first before I paid for my room and she said yes and if I was not happy that they would give me my money back. then we went to the room to see and the main housekeeper came right […] away and asked that if we are not happy to let her know I must say it was nice I slept like a BABY in the king size bed!! I sure will stay again at the RED ROOF INN!!! Mehr

The hotel is in very bad conditions, dirty and old, hair on the tub that wasn't ours and stains everywhere. I've booked 6 night and I regreat to be there for that long, never come back to that place

We booked two rooms for two nights. One room had small cockroaches in a bed and bathrooms, the staff offered a new room right away. The day after they forgot to clean one of the rooms, they gave us another room, but this new room wasn't marked as occupied by the person that gave it to us and two hour later had someone knocked on our door telling us […] he was assigned that room. The confusion got sorted right away but you don't want a random person with a key to your room. WiFi doesn't work in either one of the rooms we were assigned. Overall I will not recommend this particular hotel but since they are independent I would give Red Roof another chance. Mehr

Had a good stay. Everywhere I had to go was a short distances.

room smelling, did not clean the room until we told them, heather not working, microwave had to be change, courtains broken, toilet paper holder broken, towel rack broken, ....... will not recomend it at all.

Comfortable, affordable, Easy access to ATT Center, 1H 10 and IH 35. Got a great deal, and breakfast was a bonus!

The AC in the room did not work. They sent maintenance by our room twice, but never fixed the problem. It was cooler outside than in our room. We were never offered to be moved to another room. The shower had hair on the shower walls that was not ours, and we found roaches in the bathroom. The pillows were very small and when we asked for additional […] pillows, none were available. Mehr

This is a very decent place with a decent price. My only problem regards the complimentary breakfast provided in the hotel lobby. I would have liked to have had some bacon and eggs to choose from instead of just waffles, cereal and bread. A small complaint, really.

Although cheap, the location of the hotel is terrible. There are known gangs in the area. The staff is helpful. The rooms are out of date, gringy, and smelly. The condition of the rooms need to be re-done. Leaky roofs, old carpet, nasty tubs and so on. I was not happy with the stay.

the hotel ad said they had bisc. and gravy , and eggs for breakfest NOT it was a cold breakfest.

This place got a lot of bad reviews but we took a chance and booked here anyway and it was at all as bad as they said it was. We actually enjoyed ourselves. There wasn't much to do in the surrounding area but the hotel wasn't bad!

We were in town for an event at the ATT center. This hotel was only a mile away, so that worked for us. Bed was hard, just too firm for my taste. Breakfast had a latte machine which was nice and better than the regular coffee. The place was nice and quiet. Good for the low rate!

It was a nice hotel. It is not fancy but I was not looking for fancy. It was not far from the riverwalk or the other areas we went too.

This hotel should not wear the Red Roof logo at all!!!!
