Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.
Lage
InterContinental Century City befindet sich mitten in Los Angeles, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: 20th Century Fox Studio, Museum der Toleranz und Paley Center for Media. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Museum of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences und Hammer Museum.
Ausstattung
InterContinental Century City stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Außenpool, Whirlpool und Sauna. Ein W-LAN-Internetzugang steht gegen Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 4-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter, Limousinenservice und Büroservice. Zur Zimmerausstattung gehören außerdem: kostenlose Zeitungen sowie Telefone mit mehreren Leitungen und Voicemail. Zur Badausstattung gehören: Personenwaagen, Bademäntel und Haartrockner.

Entlang der palmengesäumten Straßen von Beverly Hills reihen sich Anwesen mit einem Wert von jeweils mehreren Millionen Dollar aneinander. Am Rodeo Drive wird der Lebensstil der Reichen und Berühmten besonders gut sichtbar. Die Boutiquen dort bieten von Armani bis Zegna alles. Es ist kein Zufall, dass sich ausgezeichnete Secondhandläden im Melrose District östlich von Beverly Hills niedergelassen haben. Im Melrose District befinden sich viele aufsteigende Designstudios. West Hollywood, auch WeHo genannt, ist nicht weit davon entfernt und bildet den Mittelpunkt der Homosexuellenszene von Los Angeles.

The Business Center was closed for renovations. This was disappointing because my companion and I chose the InterContinental -- known as a business hotel--knowing that we'd likely have to have some documents printed out for immediate review. My companion was actually told by the front desk: "Just go to Kinko's" !! The noise from the A/C was like sleeping inside a jet engine. The A/C kept cycling on and off and was unususally noisy. The hotel hallways and rooms could benefit from a makeover.

"Excellent Hotel and Location"
Very nice location - close to restaurants, fabulous shopping boutiques and upscale shopping centers, as well as theatres.
"Intercontinental"
I was expecting a bit more from an intercontinental. The rooms were small and beds just OK. Not a great area to walk for food, entertainment. Nothing really bad, just did not meet my expectation for the brand or for the price.

The orverhead lite was out in the bathroom and it was very difficut to see.

"Intercontinental Hotel LA - great view"
The entrance to this hotel is very romantic and elegant. The floral decorations and color schemes are very appealing, along with the fresh lavender scent that hits you as you walk in. The staff is very nice and polite, and the rooms are clean and modern. I had no complaints staying here and would recommend it to others. Expensive hotel in the heart of Century City, with all the amenities one would expect. Highly recommended.
"Great place to stay"
Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location (back lot of Fox Studios). We wanted something centrally located for the week we stayed - easy access to the beaches, downtown, the studios, Getty, etc. The dining room was very nice - we ate lunch outside. Quick and good service. Concierge staff was a bit of a disappointment - they were not overly enthusiastic […] about recommendations. We took one tour booked from the hotel (LA city/stars' homes) and, despite asking several times, they did not tell us we had to catch the shuttle at the end of the hotel driveway. We asked a couple other questions of them, but quickly realized they weren't really that interested in us. So we followed our guide book and all was good. Overall a great stay. Mehr

"LA Intercontinental Hotel-A+ for business/personal"
This is my favorite hotel when traveling to Los Angeles. The service is top notch from valet to bellman to registration. Each room is clean and well laid out with a sliding glass door to a mini lanai with seating and a small table. There are a lot of windows in each room and they all have a view because the hotel is located on a hill. Bathroom has a […] separate shower and tub and the shampoo and soap are pretty good quality. The lobby has a nice bar which always has people socializing, but it isn't a real hangout. There is also a nice outdoor area behind the hotel to relax or work. I've never used the gym or pool so I can't comment on those. Wifi is average cost, but they also have a four hour option which is nice. The desk is small, but adequate. The property is conveniently located within a few blocks from a mall and not far from Pico which has a bunch of restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel to anyone for business or pleasure! Mehr

I was there with guests for a business trip and the hotel completely went above and beyond in helping me accommodate my guests, from car services, to personal shoppers, etc. The food and service was great. "Hotel Intercontinental - All Style, No Substance"
Much like the people in LA, this hotel is all about appearance and not about substance. The room was average at best, and 3 of the 5 lamps did not even work. The wireless internet was not consistent, despite the $14 per day charge. But the lobby is fantastic (sarcasm). You easily get more value from a Hampton Inn than this 4-star facility.

"Nice Hotel but not walking distance to sites"
The hotel itself was very nice. The room service is way over priced and the food was very over cooked, cold and not worth the spend. The only option for parking is valet and they charge. The location is not really close walking distance to anything so don't let "avenue of the stars" mislead you. It is located across the street from a large apartment/condo […] complex w/ other high rises in the area. It was nice but I won't stay there again. Mehr
