Das Hotel liegt gleich am Schloss. Gutes dreigaengemenue im JEROME, Befindet sich unten im Hotel. Gutes fruehstuecksbueffe.

Unser Zimmer hat die besten Zeiten bereits hinter sich gehabt. Speziell dem Bad würde eine baldige Renovierung gut anstehen - Abnutzungsspuren, leichte Schimmelbildung in den Fliesenfugen... Sonst OK

Hotel in jeder Beziehung empfehlenswert. Dazu ausnehmend gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr freundlichem und kompetenten deutschsprachigen breakfast-coordinator Michael.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Schlossgartens. Gute Lage zum Zentrum. Checkin sehr zügig. Hatten ein Standardzimmer gebucht, dass wir auch bekamen, allerdings scheint die 12. Etage in den 70ern hängen geblieben zu sein, außerdem schlägt einem alter Zigarettenrauch entgegen. Die Zimmer im schlechtem Zustand, abgerissene Tapeten, undefinierbar verfärbtes […] Waschbecken und eben dieser Zigarettenrauch, kurzum, wir haben reklamiert und bekamen im 16. Stock ein Businessclasszimmer und kamen uns vor wie in einem anderen Hotel! Neue Einrichtung, sauber, sehr ruhig (haben sehr gut geschlafen;-)) und die Annehmlichkeiten eines Businessclasszimmers (Nespressomaschine mit Kapseln gratis, Hosenbügler, Bügeleisen, daily Newspaper...) Frühtsücksbuffet top,lässt keine Wünsche offen! Restaurant ENZO im Hotel top! Es empfiehlt sich, den Flughafen Gardemoen anzufliegen, von dort fährt ein Hotelshuttle. Wir sind über Flughafen Torp nach Oslo gekommen, mit Bus Torp Expressen fährt man gute 1,5 Stunden zum Busterminal, dort gibt es das Radisson Plaza Hotel. Vom Busterminal Bahnlinie 11,13 oder 17 zum Hotel RS Scandinavian Blu möglich, zu Fuß ca 20 Minuten. Alles in einem war es eine tolle Städtereise zum Einstimmen auf Weihnachten! Mehr

My room was old, but with a fine view over the city. I liked breakfast - they even had gluten-free bread and chicken/turkey ham, which fits my diet. Good conference facilities.

central hotel small rooms but i would use it again because of location

Only two minor flaws: 1. We (young couple) were given a twin bedroom rather than double. This was quickly rectified and about an hour later, we were already settling into our new double bed room. 2. The panoramic bar decided to have an over 23 policy on NYE, meaning we couldn't enter. This was very disappointing and particularly difficult to comprehend, […] as the drinking age in Norway is 18 or 20, depending on content. Hotel aesthetics were top notch, breakfast was very impressive with a vast choice, hotel staff were eager to help and very friendly, excellent location to get about Oslo and beyond, as well as nearby shops and restaurants. In general a really well located, good value hotel with good sized rooms and facilities. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choice but food was cold on both days which was disappointing. Also there was never enough staff on the front desks to accommodate the amount of people waiting, especially on our check out when there was 2 staff for about 40 people […] waiting. Overall though, rooms are good, hotel is right in the centre of town with tram stop right outside and so you can get around oslo very easily. Mehr

Great breakfast, ok location, but a bit far from financial district

We asked for the high floor, and we got the top 22nd floor. Totally love the view! The swimming pool and sauna is also a good relax after a long day. The promotion makes it a wonderful value for money, compared to cheaper hostels.

The hotel staff was very nice in attending any request and the environment excellent. The room was well decorated, clean and well illuminated, naturally and artificially. The bus to airport final station is just in the side door of the hotel and very convinient. The train is a short walk from the hotel, let's say 10 minutes. Finally, it is a good hotel […] and deserves be recommended. SP Mehr

Terrific location, friendly service. The breakfast was very good - one of the best I've had at a hotel in northern Europe. Easy access to airport shuttle, but difficult to get to ferry (required taxi or a lot of walking).

The plus side to this hotel is the location. It's right in the city centre - close to the palace, Karl Johans, and public transportation. It also has a Narvesen located inside the hotel, which is very convenient for buying tram tickets, water, etc. The breakfast is also good. Past that, the service is very so-so. The complimentary wi-fi wasn't working […] on our entire trip. We ended up having to buy access because the hotel had no answers. The concierge is kind of a joke... not really helpful at all and only available during certain times. The rooms aren't that great. While the hotel is modern on the outside, the rooms look like they haven't been updated in at least 20 years. It's not unclean, just not great. That said, I might stay here again if I went to Oslo (which is a great city) because of the location, but I might also check out the Rica Holberg which is right next to it and I hear might be better. I was pleased with this Hotel, The location was very convienent for walking around Oslo. Everything is within 5-10 mins. The hotel is really nice inside and out but I felt that the style of my room didnt reflect the actual Hotel. And Maybe its a Norway thing.. but a double bed is not suposed to be 2 BEDS!

One of the best breakfast buffets I have seen in Norway, and best of all, it opens at 5:00 a.m., for those taking early flights...too many hotels do not open up breakfast until 7:00, which is useless for most travelers on early flights.

The hotel was very well situated for The Royal Palace, Aker Brygge and the train station. the hotel was clean and the room was too. There were good views over Oslo . As a frequent visitor to Oslo we found that the commercial district that the hotel was situated in was very quiet and there was no noise from outside compared to other hotels we have stayed […] in in the City. We would definately return for another stay. Our only complaint was that it was hard to find a seat in the Brasserie for breakfast on the Saturday morning but that may have been a particularly busy day in the hotel. Mehr

Cruise ship sized rooms, small, bathrooms clean but little moldy around tub, other hotels closer to center of town equally priced and larger. Breakfast included, but was just ok. Better rooms around for price if they are available. Little outdated. Friendly staff, very helpful!

The hotel location is quite convinient next to trams station and next to the town centre. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Rooms are quiet and clean but would be better redecorated. We had a room on the 5th floor and it can probably be noisy in summer if windows are opened because of the tram and of the noise that seems to come from the air […] conditionning Mehr

Theroom was spacious and clean with a good welcome tray which helped with our early morning get up. The Sky bar is definately worth a visit not too expensive for Norway and lovely atmosphere with excellent views of the city. Staff recommended places to visit and bars and were helpful when explaining buses and where we couldchange money.

Good points - tram stop just outside, great view, quiet room. Bad points - we stayed in a Superior Room on 13th floor - and it seemed 13 wasn't a very lucky number for us. Room decor was tired and badly dated (hotel photos did not accurately reflect our room at all!) - torn wallpaper, chips on furniture, armchair stained (as were the ones in reception […] area - creates a very poor impression). In the bathroom the sealant around the bath was covered in black spots, bath was badly marked, grouting was dirty and the extractor (which didn't work) had a thick layer of dust on it, while the fire sprinkler above was rusty. The queen-sized bed had a single sized duvet on it - we found another in the wardrobe in a plastic bag. The floating ceiling tiles were missing just inside the door, so you could see the concrete above. The room wasn't 'toasty' - so I'm unsure if the heating system was working correctly. The breakfast room was large and quite chaotic - you gave your room number upon entering but you were left to find your own table, so it was a stressful start to the day as you had to keep an eye on who was about to leave to get a space. It was quite surprising given that Radisson is such a well-known brand - I've been in Radisson hotels before and this one fell far short of the standard I was familiar with. I wouldn't stay here again - a disappointing experience in an otherwise great birthday weekend in Oslo. There are lots of other hotels in Oslo so I would advise caution if considering this one. Mehr

Not a four star hotel. Breakfast was the only redeeming thing about this hotel. The staff was friendly but the quality of the rooms were poor. Initially I thought the bathtub was dirty but it turns out the "dirt" was a series of chips in the bath tub. The bed was so bad that you felt like you were inverted when you were laying on it. The matteras was […] about two inches thick and you could feel ever spring. The room was very tiny. You had about six inches of room between the bed and the furniture. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel again. I would barely give this hotel three stars, it certainly is not of four star quality. I have stayed at Radisson's several times and this one was a huge disappointment. Mehr

staff were very friendly, hotel was of clean standard - expected slightly more room in the rooms we had (twin room for two people) - very central location. Overall, experience was good

No complaints whatsoever. Location and all services were excellent. And maybe the best thing is they have FREE wifi in your rooms. Wish more hotels would do offer this. Sure seems like a no-brainer!

We arrived very late at night, but reception was friendly and efficient. The room was quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good- wonderful smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and fruit. Would stay here again, as its in a good location, and only a few minutes walk from the train station.

This hotel was in a great location, near stores and the water. The fitness room was a pretty good size, which was important to me. I didn't feel there were a great number of places to eat right around the hotel, but that is a minor complaint. Everything else was great.

top floor view excellent. best rooms on top. we were on floor 3!! Terrace which was untidy and unkempt but could have used if desperate. Reasonable room excellent service from reception i.e. iron and boaard in 15 minutes. no tea and coffee facilities but sent up kettle immediately when asked. Excellent breakfast variety.

this hotel is what you would expect from a radission clean and functional. the room itself was a business class room but still quite small.we requested a double bed but got twin beds instead. the highlight of the hotel was the buffet breakfast this was huge and great variety of foods on offer.breakfast was open until 11 which was good too for sleeping […] in. the hotel is situated just behind the royal place and is only a stroll away from karl johan st.good location,nice hotel. The quality of the rooms doesn't really justify the price tag (rather old, need an upgrade).

For a four star hotel you can do much better. While Oslo is not cheap (I've lived there for 4 years) this hotel is pricey for what you get. The first thing you notice is that it's very much geared to the short trip business people who are paying corporate rates. The lobby is nice and the staff generally welcoming. The rooms however (and we tried two) […] are rather dated and look like they haven't been updated since the 60's. Of course some people would like this but for Scandinavia it's just not up to scratch for a 4 star hotel. When we arrived in our room there were half empty bottles standing around, no soap and one very thin pillow each. We immediately told management and they gave us another room. Forget about ordering early morning coffee or other room service. They couldn't be bothered to check our order (meant to hang outside on the doorknob before you go to bed). Breakfast is quite ok and the bar at the top of the building has beautiful panoramic vistas over Oslo. But you don't need to stay at the hotel to visit the bar. Skip the hotel restaurant, it's a rip off. Directly across the road is an extremely charming Spanish restaurant with excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. Unless you're getting the corporate discount I'd choose a newer hotel. Mehr

Fint at det enda finnes noen hoteller som har noen få røykerom, ellers fine greie rom. Vi var vel litt uheldig, med dårlig vask av badekaret, det trakk ned noe, men fikk en liten kompensasjon for det, det takker vi for. Kommer nok til å booke oss inn der flere ganger
