Zentrale Lage und tolle Terasse.

Central hotel, located up the street from Casa Batllo, about 10 mins walk from Plaza de Catalonia. Spotlessly clean, excellent service. Only complaint is that our AC was directed at the bed so it was either to warm with AC off or too cold with it on! Pool area is small, but fantastic views of the city.

an excellent 5 star hotel quality underwritten throughout our stay. Set menu lunch was very reasonable however the hotel was generally very expensive to eat and drink in it is located on a very elite avenue with the top shops and nice to walk around very close to metro and to gaudi 's casstil spectaular roof garden/bar views stunning of sacredia familia

Although our room was small for the money it was satisfactory in every other way ... clean, well maintained, comfortable - not withstanding the size restrictions - well furnished and with great accessories. The lobby and bar areas are nicely done and above all the staff is most helpful, courteous and always professional ... this aspect of our stay was most appreciated.

I decided to booka hotel in Barcelona for mywife's birthday at the end of January 2009.When we arrived the concierage was staright over to the taxi and brought my bags in.We couldnt check into our room for an hour because we were early but the coffee shop down te street made up forthis.The room was clean and in god condition.The bed did seem a bit hard.The location is very central and well worth a visit.Didnt eat in the hotel as the choice of Tapas Bars are great.Drinks in he Hotel are very expensive as compared to locally.

The people were rude to us when we got there, when we were leaving, we couldnt find anyone to flag down a cab for us. We were under the impression breakfast was included, it was 23 EURO a person, and was not that good. I think because we didnt prance around in designer duds drinking all day, they ignored us. They didnt tell us about the computer room that was free to use, so we paid 30 Euro for 15 minutes of internet in our room. All these hidden fees really added up and we did not feel like we received anything for it. However, the room was a good size, the bathroom big, loved the robes and slippers. The location is amazing, Louis Vitton and Dolce stores are attached to the building, many attractions are within walking distance. So that was ok. I am just not happy with the huge fees, and the lack of respect from the employees.

Great location in great neighborhood! 1 block to Metro & bus & Gaudi masterpieces within 1-2 blocks in both directions! Elegant common areas. Superior room was quite small but bed was very comfortable and bathroom quite spacious with ample counter top. All amenities. Beautiful views from the rooftop pool/bar with live music in the evening. Note pool is smaller than appears in photos - it's more of a dipping pool. One complaint: there's no concierge! Odd for a 5 star hotel and the front desk staff wasn't all that helpful in fulfilling that role which is reportedly theirs to fill. So do your research first and you won't need help.

Hotel was very clean and the staff helpful. Nice location and about 15mins walk to the top of Las Ramblas but always stopped for coffee or beer in one of the nice street cafes. The room was nice and spacious but the view was away from the street and overlooked a car park and an ather building. Would recommend to others if you can get a deal as we did.

We were in an upgraded room which I was dissapointed with considering the class of the hotel. The Majestic is supposed to be 5 Star and we were in a small double with awful views at the rear. The service was impeccable and the location is faultless. I would want a better room next time. Oh and have a glass of Champagne on the roof.

promised a quenn then put 2 beds together

My girlfriend and I were influenced by the fact that this hotel had a pool. A visit to the roof terrace revealed that the pool is very small indeed! The hotel is quite well situated for the designer shops and the walk to the beach is just about bearable. The we had (a classic room) didn't have much of a view and was smallish in size. This is to be expected of a city centre hotel i suppose! We would have opted for more a slightly expensive room option if one with a double bed was available. The was clean and quiet, but with a slightly annoying split-level design. Overall i would recommend this hotel, if only for the excellent buffet breakfast. Barcelona is a great place to visit for a romantic city break.

Fantastic location - the Madison Avenue of Barcelona - within walking distance or easy cab ride from all of the city's many attractions. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed. The hotel lacks the design flair of other area hotels but the rooms are better priced. The hotel's meals and other services are significantly overpriced ($15 to launder a pair of pants!). The rooftop offers a glorious view of the city. The pool was disappointing: small and unheated but the gym is decent.

Venlig modtagelse, dejligt værelse, god mad

Après avoir passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel en plein été, ce que j'ai le plus apprécié est sa situation sur le Passage de Grace, une artère principale de la ville. De plus, sa terrace sur le toit, au 10ème étage avec son bar de jour et de nuit et sa piscine, est certainement celle qui offre la plus belle vue de Barcelone. Enfin, rien à dire sur les prestations de l'hotel, c'était parfait !

L'hotel est juste au dessus de la gare des trains-navettes qui vont à l'aéroport : idéal pour ne pas trainer des bagages. Le service est irreprochable.

Top hotel med perfekt beliggenhed god service og fantastisk udsigt og bar på toppen.

Service excellent, restauration de qualité y compris un superbe buffet rapport qualité/prix++du 31/12. Propreté tout à fait en rapport. Sur 3 nuits la première malheureusement trop froide par soucis de chauffage/climatisation. TV numérique exclusivement espagnole/catalane, pas de chaine d'autre pays européenes et notamment française.

Her har du alt i umiddelbar nærhet: butikker, cafeer og all den sight-seeing du måtte ønske. Flott hotell beliggende sentralt i Barcekona!

Eneste negative jeg har å si om hotellet er at du må kjøpe internett-tilkobling. Bør være fri trådløst nettverk på hele hotellet

Het hotel ligt goed centraal in het winkelgebied en op korte afstand van belangrijke attracties. De kamers zijn niet bijzonder voor dit type hotel. Storend waren gasten die 's avonds en 's nachts zingend door de gangen trokken. Verder deed de bediening wat men moest doen, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Bij het aftekenen en verwerken van de rekeningen werden regelmatig fouten in het nadeel van de gast gemaakt.
