"Bahnhof Termini liegt quasi um die Ecke"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Auch wenn mein Aufenthalt nur eine Nacht dauerte (EuroLeague-Fußballspiel), war ich sehr zufrieden. Kleines, aber recht ruhiges & sauberes Einzelzimmer. Auch das Hotel an sich liegt in einer eher ruhigen Seitenstraße, obwohl die viel befahrene Via Cavour gerade mal 20m entfernt ist. Da ich mit der Bahn anreiste, war mir die kurze Entfernung (ca. 10 Fußminuten) zum Hauptbahnhof Termini sehr wichtig. Mit dem Frühstück in einem etwas kleinen Raum (3 oder 4 Tische) bei gemütlichem Ambiente war ich ebenfalls zufrieden. Müsli, Joghurt, Ei, Schinken, Marmelade, Honig, Brötchen, Crossants ... dazu Saft & Cappuccino/Kaffee - reichhaltiger geht es für ein 2-Sterne-Hotel mit günstigem Preis wohl kaum noch. Das freundliche, junge Personal an der Rezeption (die Tag & Nacht besetzt ist, so dass man seinen Schlüssel abgeben kann) trug schließlich zu meinem guten Gesamteindruck bei. Der einzige Negativpunkt ist das nicht richtig schließbare Fenster (ließ sich bei Druck leicht öffnen), dafür konnte ich jedoch die Jealousiene außen zumachen und innen die Vorhänge zu ziehen.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 25. Feb. 2013Ich war nur kurz hier zu Gast, was aber schon ausreichte, um die viel gepriesene Hilfsbereitschaft und Serviceorientierung zu erleben und spüren. Ich konnte bereits um 10 Uhr Einchecken, etwas arbeiten (WLAN zuverlässig), bevor ich zu meiner Abendveranstaltung ging. Am nächsten Morgen musste ich bereits 6 Uhr das Haus verlassen. Problemlos und Frühstück zum Selbernehmen (und EInpacken) gab es auch. "Feel at home!" hieß es am Ende des Herumführens beim Einchecken. Das war auch in der Tat der Fall!

Als ich die Bilder von den vielen schönen Zimmern und den Preis gesehen habe, war ich erst skeptisch, da es zu schön schien, um wahr zu sein. Die Vermieter haben uns dann am Tag der Anreise gleich angeschrieben und uns beim Finden der Pension und der Anreise Tips gegeben. Sie haben uns dann sogar einen Treffpunkt genannt und uns abgeholt. Als wir einmal ein Problem mit dem Schlüssel hatten, haben Sie uns auch sofort geholfen und waren innerhalb von zehn Minuten da. Die Wohnung ist ziemlich weit oben, man muss also einige Treppen hoch, dafür hat man von der schönen Terrasse einen super Blick! Der Rest des Apartments ist auch toll, Fernseher, Sofa, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Küche, in der man sich auch bedienen kann (Geschirr, Töpfe, Salz, Kaffee, Nudeln und Pesto). Das Bad ist ganz frisch renoviert und supersauber. Und man ist mitten in der Stadt! 5-10 Minuten zum Piazza Novana, 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Colosseum und dem Forum Romanum, 10 Minuten zum Trevi-Brunnen. Alles in allem ein Glücksgriff!

"Wundervoller Aufenthalt in Rom"
Das Hotel ist sauber und angenehm. Die Dachterrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen, obwohl sie nicht den Bildern im Internet entspricht - da hat man die Terrasse des Schwesterhotels "Atlante Star" übernommen, welche aber geschlossen ist. Die Lage ist wirklich super - nur wenige Minuten zum Vatikan und Petersplatz. Etwas störend war es, dass die Fenster nicht […] richtig schlossen. Zwar schloss die Verriegelung, aber die Fenster waren wohl so verzogen,dass sie am oberen Ende nicht dicht waren. Somit kam der Verkehrslärm ungefiltert herein. DieBadewanne und Dusche sind aber dringend erneuerungebedürftig. der Concierge braucht klare Worte wird dann aber freundlich und bringt einem die notwendige Aufmerksamkeit entgegen. Der Rest des Personal bietet sich freiwillig an zu helfen; Die Lage ist optimal und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut […] zu erreichen. Wenn man gut zu Fuß ist kann man alle Top Sight seeing Punkte zu Fuß erreichen. Das Essen im Schwesterhotel ist gut, aber dieKellner sind aber total durcheinander und sehr schlecht organisiert. "Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich..."
Personal und Sauberkeit sind sehr gut. Das Hotel wirbt mit einem Dachgarten und Restaurant, diese sind aber im Partnerhotel "Antlante Star" einige Straßen weiter und wurde somit von uns nicht genutzt. Der Internetzugang kostet extra, lediglich 5 Minuten pro Tag sind kostenfrei. Das Frühstück war nicht mit in der Standardbuchung enthalten und sollte […] 9 Euro pro Tag und Person extra kosten. Die Betten waren extrem durchgelegen, Badamaturen und Badewanne extrem abgenutzt und sollten eigentlich ausgewechselt werden. Türen klapperten im ganzen Haus und die Wände waren dünn wie Papier. Ein Fahrstuhl war vorhanden und funktionstüchtig. Der Innenhof und die Terassen waren bei unserem Besuch im Mai 2012 nicht nutzbar und ungepflegt. Der Petersplatz und die U-Bahnstation waren ca. 5 Minuten Fussweg entfernt. Bei einem weiteren Besuch werden wir auf jeden Fall ein anderes Hotel ausprobieren... "Kann man schon mal empfehlen"
Das Zimmer war aber sauber, Bad auch, jeden Tag frische Handtücher. Nur Fön und Handtuchhaken hatten wir mal in der Hand, wurde aber sofort wieder angebracht. Tapete ist aus Stoff,nichts defekt. Doppelbett war etwas hart, aber die anderen beiden Betten waren etwas durchgelegen bzw. das eine (wie eine Ausziehcouch) etwas wacklig. Personal war sehr nett […] und hilfsbereit. Frühstück haben wir nur am ersten Tag einge-nommen. Es kostet 9 €. Man kann sich satt essen (harte Eier, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt Müslis) für den, der gern viel ist! Wir haben uns am Platz, wo die Via Crescenzio beginnt,eine Ecke weiter, in einem Cafe Cappuccino (im Stehen 1 €) gekauft und belegte Brote gibt es auch an jeder Ecke z.B. beim Bäcker, ca. 3 Parallelstraßen weiter, Richtung Petersdomplatz, linker Hand. Im Ganzen war alles OK. Nur die Lautstärke, die überall in Rom durch Straßenlärm entsteht. Wir empfehlen für die Nacht Ohrenstöpsel! Das Hotel ist gleich beim Vatikan. Wir würden es empfehlen, aber noch besser ist es im Stadtviertel am Novanaplatz, wo man mehr im Zentrum ist. Romticket für 3 Tage bis 30 € am besten gleich online bestellen und damit auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitel nutzen z.B. die Linie 116 ist wie eine Stadtrundfahrt im Zentrum, wenn die Beine weh tun.Am Veneziaplatz gibt es das Riesengebäude, welches im antiken Stil,aber erst ca. 1900 gebaut wurde. Hintenherum kommt man zu einem Fahrstuhl. Für 7€ wird man mit einem wunderschönen Panorama von Rom belohnt! MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist für einen Städtetripp ideal. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vatikan liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr vorteilhaft ist der kostenlose Abholservice vom Flughafen. Auf Wunsch kann der Rücktransport zum Flughafen gegen Gebühr (2 Personen für 40,-- EUR) gebucht werden. Hat alles tadellos geklappt. "Unbedingt das richtige Zimmer bestätigen lassen !"
Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Peterdoms direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Strasse. Deshalb ist es UNBEDINGT notwendig ein Zimmer nach hinten oder zur Seite sich VORHER bestâtigen zu lassen! Ab 5 Uhr ist sonst die Nacht zuende! Das Frùhstück ist akzeptabel - aber max. Pensionsniveau. Nebenan ist ein guter LivemusicClub und um die Ecke ist ein nettes […] Trattoria. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist ein besonderer Vorteil für Alle, die Rom zu Fuß erkunden möchten. Alle Ziele und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut erreichbar. Auch der Petersdom nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Der Service und die Freundlichkeit der Personal läßt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Einzig die Lautstärke des Verkehrs von der vobeiführenden vielbefahrenen […] Straße hat etwas gestört. Aber von einem sehr zentral gelegenen Hotel kann man auch keine ruhige Lage erwarten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Für Alle, die auf Städtetripp sind, eine gute Wahl. Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht zu übertreffen. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Vatikan, 10 zur Engelsburg dann über die Brücke und man ist mitten im alten Rom. Metrostation gleich um die Ecke.Viele nette Rstaurants im Viertel und auch ein Supermarkt. Das Hotel selbst ist in Ordnung, kleine einfache Zimmer aber sauber. Guter Service. Falls das Zimmer zur Strasse […] liegt, ist es allerdings nicht super ruhig, man hört Strassenlärm. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen, sehr gute Lage Nähe dem Vatikan, Bushaltestelle ca. 200 Meter entfertnt, ein Sparmarkt ist auch nicht weiter entfernt. Price you quoted us included all taxes, and shuttle to the airport, but they charged us 40 Euro for airport transfer in their own van packed with other hotel guests, and added 12 euro taxes. Hotel is small but friendly. As hotels go in Rome, it's perfectly situated for sightseeing. We walked everywhere from the hotel. It's very close to the Vatican & a metro station. Staff are helpful. If u like modern fancy hotels this hotel is not for you, if you just need a good base then I highly recommend this hotel. Free pick up from the airport is […] a huge bonus, had to pay going back to the airport but when u have a buggy it is worth paying to avoid the stress. Breakfast was basic, but considering prices in Rome it is good value at 9 euro, room is small but there is a second room if needed. I have never seen a city so full of tourists so restaurant workers in general are a little rude, it's like they know they don't need to be nice because they will fill seats anyway. Also always check prices before you order food/ ice cream and check your receipt & change too, tourists are fair game in Rome! But don't be put off, it's a fantastic city, just be aware. Well, it had a very uncomfortable bed with its mattress at floor level, no shower, only one stright-backed chair. extremely poor lighting. Hello, I have recently stayed 4 nights at Atlante Garden Hotel. I'm going to start first with the Location: The location of the hotel is amazing. It's between the Vatican and San Angelo. (5 min walk to San Angelo) In all our stay we haven;t used not even once the public transport. All the major tourist attraction are at 20 min walk. In terms of breakfast […] I usually don't eat so much at breakfast but for me was more than enough (pastries, jam, cheese, orange juice, cereals etc.) The restaurant Les Etoile where the breakfast is served is absolutely great and the view of San Pietro it's really great. The pick up service was really great and comfortable. We arrived in 30 min at the hotel. The room it's not very big but I think it's enough for a vacation. Anyway the hotel I would not say it's 4 stars. Also the bed it's a bit hard so for the ones who love to have a fluffy mattress you should chose other hotel. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel. We found one which was absolutely amazing and the food as well. The restaurant it's held by a family and the food is great great great. The restaurant it's called Porta Castello. The prices are extremely good as well like 8 euros for a pizza, 6 euros for spaghetti pomodoro and 7 euros a bottle of house red wine. The restaurant was full every single night and the staff is really nice. Overall the vacation at this hotel was nice I have enjoyed it. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. First off, this is NOT a 4 star hotel by any standards (US or European). It might have been several years ago but is showing a little age. That said, this hotel isn't bad and you can't argue with the price! Pros: - Friendly Staff - Clean - Great location, not in the middle of town but it's a 10-20 minute walk to most everything - Taxi station is right […] down the street for a quick way to get to the train station - Vatican is right there! - Great cheap breakfast in the morning with a great view - Great shuttle service and comparable rates for the return to the airport - Friendly and helpful staff - Free wifi in the lobby and pay for time in your room (pretty common in Europe) Cons: - Smoke: I have asthma and the first night I had to use my inhaler. If you are super sensitive to smoke you might have issues. - It's misrepresented as a 4 star hotel. It's a solid 3 though - The heating was not that great and the rooms are a little drafty The rooms are small by american standards but not bad. it's a great place to sleep and we were out most of the time. Regarding the smoke smells, the staff let us check out another room on a different floor and really did try to help the best they could. It's also just the fact that we are so spoiled with "smoke free" areas in the US so it takes some getting used to. If you are on a budget and want a clean, safe friendly hotel this is a great place. This was our first trip to Rome. We picked the hotel due to positive ratings and its location on the map close to the Vatican, as well as its room offering. We were pleasantly surprised at just how close to the Vatican it is as well as being located close to the Metro and on a bus route to the Collesium. The hotel was about 1.5 miles from John Cabot […] University, an easy walk. The room we had held three beds, good for our familiy of four. No one had to suffer sleeping on a pull out sofa! The registration desk staff was not much help with local information; however, the bartender in the hotel more than made up for it. We visited with Andreas every night winding down our day and he gave us practical how-to-get-around advice, as well as sights worth seeing from the perspective of a local. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The room is meant for just sleeping, it is not set up for work or hanging out in, but since we were in town to see the sights it was perfect for us! Was steps away from everything! location is awesome. Staff is great all speak english well and are very helpful! Room was to be expected for europe, no complaints and all my stuff was always there! There is a bar right next to it nothing to do with the hotel with nightly live bands and great drinks, staff is a little unpleasant hate there job attitudes […] but great watering hole! so you can get wasted and walk back in like 30 seconds :) Coffee shop across the street easy access for moring rush. The hotel has no restraunt but a nice little bar with a wonderful staff.. but they do have morning buffet its typical european... eat outside anyway is better.. One of the reception staff was friendly enough, the others didn't want to bother to help us with even basic queries (how dare we drag them away from the football game on TV?). We paid a little extra to include breakfast - it was really good (European continental). If you're hoping for a hot breakfast you'll be disappointed. But large enough selection […] to choose from. Breakfast staff very kind (spoke little English though). Beds in the room very hard and uncomfortable. If you are allocated a front view room (as we were), you will get a lovely view of the Vatican - but you will suffer with constant traffic noise (even at 3am). Bring ear-plugs just in case - and pain pills for your back as the beds leave a lot to be desired. Not the most modern of hotels, but upkept quite well and was clean and tidy. Housekeeping staff friendly (no English). Internet very very slow and disappointing. You can get decent wifi at nearby coffee shops if you want it. My husband and I stayed here Dec 4-11. I thought the location was good- 10 minute walk to Vatican, 10 min to Metra train to go to Colliseum, Spanish Steps, etc., 20-30 minute walk to Trastevere. The room was decent, clean and fairly quiet except in the morning there is traffic noise starting at 7 am, wish I had brought ear plugs, but not a serious problem. […] I think you would likely have traffic noise at most of the hotels though unless you stay at an inside room, but then no view. There is a "hair dryer" in the room, but I would recommend bringing your own as it looks like a vacuum cleaner and takes a long time to dry your hair. The staff was helpful with all the questions we had. We didn't have the hotel breakfast, there are some quite nice little "bar's" near-by serving caffe, cappuccino's and yummy little pastries with-in just a couple minutes walk.
