Schönes, sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Essen und Internet im Hotel sehr teuer. Der Pool war leider sehr verdreckt und bedarf dringend einer Reinigung! 4 Sterne sind für das Hotel in Ordnung.

I rarely bother to write reviews, but I feel that I must in this instance. I didn't enjoy my stay at this hotel at all. The service was very poor in my opinion. The staff obviously didn't want to be there and became apparent. I had to wait considerable amounts of time; for my check in, for my luggage to be taken to my room and for my check out. My room […] was upgraded to a 'Club Room' but I found it to be just tiny. One room bigger enough for just a queen sized bed and small bathroom / shower. I hate to think what I would have received if I were not upgraded. In addition there is very poor signage if all, as to where to go to find your room. It wasn't as simple as walking to a lift in front of you. I needed to ask for directions and I don't think that that is something that I should have to do in a hotel!?! On top of that I have been charged $77 on my credit card for something that I know nothing about. Luckily I am heading back to Singapore and I will certainly dispute it them. I won't be staying at this hotel again. Mehr

nice hotel. no complaints

The hardwear of this hotel is good, lobby is spaceous, room is clean. However, their service is ackward. It took us 15-20 minutes to check-in, and we waited 30-45 minutes for room serivce (additional towels).

For me orchard hotel is well situated, comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and the ammenities close by serve me well, ie supermarket, wine shop, restaurants, laundry and money exchange.

Nothing too much trouble,would stay again.

An excellent hotel with very good and friendly service - ideally located to discover Singapore (using MRT or taxi) which is much more than Orchard road.

At arriving room I booked was not available and had to wait an hour for an other room to be prepaired. Got upgraded and complimentary Wifi for 3 days so really satisfied after all ! All hotels should have free WiFi these days !!

Willing enough staff and acceptable funishings although lifts were often out of order. D'ont eat here the food is overpriced and very poor quality.

Excellent location ... lobby and arrival area including the bar and restaurant quite noisy ...however it was Christmas time .... Rooms and beds excellent ... distance to airport superb ... shopping around very good ... would definitely stay again

After a 14 hour flight we arrived into the hotel at 7pm to be told that the room we had paid for from 2pm that day would not be available until 10pm that night. We were not the only guests in this position. No explanation was offered! Management was totally inadequate in its response to what was a clear breach of contract on their part. An offer of […] a free buffet dinner does not constitute compensation for the fact that they did not honour the contract that the room be available from 2pm. The hotel felt like one that lacked anyone in charge and that is why I would not recommend it in any circumstances. Mehr

Well located Hotel

I overall was happy with the hotel but I was disappointed when they gave me a handicap access room without telling me. They also insisted on a smoking room when i told them i had a medical. Finally I was told that if i wanted a room right away i could have a non smoking! HUH? The hotel room was clean but the hallways seemed older with the carpet worn […] out. Excellent location, close to all major shopping malls. The standard hotel rooms are very small, breakfast is decent. All in all, an average stay in terms of comfort.

second time I stay in the hotel and I like it. Nice gym , nice pool, Walk to all shops.

I have a very comfortable rest and stay in the cozy and quite room after full marathon. Will be back!

We were disappointed to have paid for a club room only to be unable to sleep due to a dripping airconditioner, the carpet on the floors really stained and surprising for a hotel of this cost. Would not go back. A recent 3 night stay was disappointing. Had to wait for 1.5 hours past the 2pm checkin time until the room was ready. Staff did not care despite repeated inquiries. Then found the room to be old and dated in a state of disrepair cupboards were hanging off their hinges. Their was a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke which was not suitable for a supposed […] non smoking room. Room had ants throughout and other small flying bugs. Convenient location at the top end of Orchard Road, although questionable nighlife lurking around the streets in the evening (clearly the seedier side of Orchard Road with an adult club across the road). Definitely had a business(man) feel with a bustling bar in the foyer offering live music, booze and women who did not always appear to be paying guests. We […] arrived after 8pm and was told that the hotel was full & we would have to wait 45 minutes for a room to be prepared. This was not welcome news after a 9 hour flight, and complimentary drinks at the bar did not seem compensation enough. However to be fair, the Hotel automatically upgraded the room to the Club Level which was unexpected but appreciated. We were happy again. Apart from that, the rooms were clean, comfortable and staff friendly. Location for the shops on Orchard Road was good, although being at one end, with the main airconditioned and linked shopping strip further down Orchard Rd, meant that you will need to firstly brave the heat, humidity and elements to get to places like ION, Wistma Atria, Ngee Ann City, MRT etc. Good value for money having booked at a promtional rate, but probably better places to stay if you are paying full rack rate. Hotel good. Was in a delux room which has been newly renovated and everyhing you need. Very big hotel, good service and everything good.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good lots of variety. Unfortunately the service was not up to expectation for 4star hotel. We arrived at 6pm, and our room was not ready yet, despite the check in time at 2pm, we were asked to wait at the bar and were given voucher for welcome drink. We did not want to have the welcome drinks, we just […] wanted to have a rest after a long flight. We rang housekeeping for dental and shaver kits, were told they will be delivered promptly. The next day we rang reception and complained about the dental and shaver kits have not been delivered yet. We were told that the reception will follow this up. Until we check out the following day, those dental and shaver kits never reached us. We were quite dissapointed with the check in process and housekeeping stuff. We will definitely consider other hotels in orchard rd. Mehr

I have stayed at the Orchard 3 times this year. Enough is enough. The shower tap came off. No clock in the room. Wall paper peeling off, Tired furniture. On one occassion the room was not made up until I telephoned them to do it at 6pm. I asked for a bucket of ice and was sent a milk jug of ice (bit hard to get a bottle in it to cool down). We arrived just after 7.25 am on a Friday morning from Paris and asked if we could have an earlier checkin. Reception desk was extremely helpful and her response was 'of course, you can'. From then on our experience was a constant pleasure, everyone from the hotel staff were very hepful, cheerful, and gone out of their way to ensure our stay is a memorable […] one. They have assisted with our tour confirmation which we organised from overseas. We can highly recommend it to families and single people. I have stayed in other leading international hotels and found Orchard service at par if not higher. thank you Orchard.... Mehr

Great location in the shopping district. We enjoyed our stay and would happily reccomend to others.

I had heard from others that they enjoyed this hotel and so I was a little disappointed. Internet is hard to access. When my room was cleaned the cleaning staff took the card out and turned of the AC, so when I got home the room was warm. I am still paying for the room while I am out of the room, so there is no reason to do that. In fact, the AC did […] not work that well and the room was never really cold. The staff were helpful but they were clearly overwhelmed by the crowd of people staying in the hotel. I do not plan on staying there again. Not bad, but not good either..... Mehr

Very lovely hotel and great location at the start of Orchard Rd. Staff are also friendly and would assist when approached.

Great room and always maintenain well after the upgrade of the room. Highly recommended.

It was very good experience @ Orchard Hotel.we are really enjoyed it.

This hotel was great right on busy orchard road - walking distance to all shops. The room was very nice and clean. I only used the GYM and pool and bar down stairs all great facilities. Will stay there again for sure with my family.

i arrived at the hotel 6pm to check in and they want me to wait till 10 pm if i want one queen bed rather 2 single beds i find that is ridiculous i Believe they should have either put me on a upgraded room or give some other benefit as they are letting other customer stay late and most likely charge him for late check put

They charge $17.50 to use the internet for 30mins! This is just ridiculous and I don't know how they can justify it. Luckily, there's an internet cafe in the building next door that charges $2 per 30mins but having affordable internet at the hotel would be convenient. I had ‘make up my room’ on all day from about 11am until 8pm or so. I was very disappointment […] to find that my room had not been made up when I returned to the hotel in the evening. I called reception to request more towels, 4 towels, and they dumped too towels on the bed. Again ignoring the request to have the room made. I had just been staying in hotels across Asia for the previous 2 months and did not experience this anywhere else. This hotel is one of the more ‘affordable’ options (excluding the internet costs) in Singapore but I would rather stay a little extra and go elsewhere. Mehr

The Hotel is conviniently located with major shopping centres within walking distances. Cofortable rooms. Overall pleasant stay.

The location is faultless, on Orchard Road right in the centre of all shopping facilities. Unfortunately this is the only positive thing I have to say about the hotel. The room's decoration was tired and many of the fixture and fittings were failing. Cleanliness was not a strong point either, we found hair in the bath on our arrival, which was most […] off putting. Good location,Took a long time to check in but were upgraded to executive suite with breakfast included,Internet access only worked in bedroom and had problem connecting to phones in lobby,otherwise good location,decoration and cleanliness of hotel of high quality.The breakfast menu had a good selection and the staff there were pleasant and very helpful.Would […] recommend this hotel. My check-in at 6 PM was delayed for about an hour because the room was not ready yet. If you like a hotel with many many people, this one is for you.

This is a very nice hotel to stay in. The staff are very attentive and the rooms are well appointed. There are 2 things guests should be aware of: 1. The breakfast in the hotel will cost you about S$33 per person. You could not eat that much food! Across the road is 'The Coffee Bean' and 'Starbucks'. I had a cooked breakfast with coffee for S$10 at […] the 'Coffee Bean" 2. Do not make an international telephone call from your room. You will be charged an extraordinarily high price. Mehr
