Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center - Spokane Valley

My family enjoyed this hotel very much. Nice heated pool, convienent location to local stores and downtown. Would deffinatley stay again for another visit.

Our experience relative to the rate may have been an anomaly, because we got a free upgrade to a newer room based on the bands proximity to our location, but the desk staff recognized that we might be tired having arrived at 11:15pm and did that on her own. I found the front desk staff to be professional and courteous. The newer wing has granite, a […] walk in shower, and comfortable beds (in general I don't sleep well and I slept in both days). We were very pleased with our stay. The customer service was outstanding. There was a miscommunication about our shuttle from the airport, but they made were gracious and accomodating even though it was our mistake. The hotel is unique and very attractive. We will definitely be staying again.

Overall my stay was very nice. However, the bed, even though it was very pretty to look at was so soft on the sides that it was like sleeping in a hammock and I am not comfortable in that position. I was able to sleep fair by moving to the center of the bed and staying there. I did appreciate the free upgrade to a room w/fridge and microwave because […] it was available, however I was never told that the less expensive room was bare minimum when I signed up on line, that part was not clear. Also, it would be best if the front desk people did not suggest that the Walmart behind the motel was easily accessible by walking through the hotel and crossing the lawn especially at night and in the dark. I did find that it was a short cut but I also found that they run the water at that time of evening and I ended up with mud in my sandals and my sock were soaked and covered with mud. Not Cool!!! As far as hotels go, this isn't the fanciest nor does it have free breakfast. However, I forgot my shaving kit which had my $600 dental bite guard in it. Panicked, I called the hotel a few hours after leaving and they were able to track down my kit in their "Lost & Found" so we could pick it up on the way home - in spite of the fact that it is normally […] locked up on weekends & holidays. Hotel was great, very clean and comfortable. I however selected a room with free breakfast we had 3 adults in our room and it cost $30 extra to add breakfast. I was happy to pay but upon arrival I was told the room only came with 2 breakfast vouchers. I showed him my reservation which stated free breakfast. I continued by telling him I paid extra for […] the breakfast. He finally gave me an extra voucher. Then at breakfast (which cost $9.95 if you didn't have a voucher) we were very disappointed to see eggs, sausage, toast, fruit and biscutes and gravy. I could get this kind of breakfast at most any hotel without paying extra. My advice buy the room and skip breakfast it is not worth your money. Mehr

Very friendly staff, clean hotel and the outdoor pool was the perfect touch to a perfect weekend. It's a little out of touch from the core of either Spokane or Coeur D' Alene, but there is some good shopping and are some good Restaurants within walking distance. We would stay again anytime.

Great place just off I90 to stay Bloomsday weekend with the family. Sweet little pool, great rooms, great breakfast selection, but stay away from eggs and hashbrowns. Not my brightest move for a prerun meal.

Hotel is older but updated, and very clean. We had a first floor room with a patio off a grassy area near the pool. Loved it! Hotel had all the amenities and very friendly staff. Good restaurant, and great location just off the interstate. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel overall was very appealing and the room was fine. The bedcover had a quarter size stain on it under the foot blanket. Whe we actually got ready to go to bed at 12:30 a.m. one of the beds had another larger stain on the sheets. Other than this everything was fine.

It is only a few minutes from Downtown and you cannot beat The MAXX. Nothing better than one of the best bars and restaurants 40ft from your hotel room door. Heck we never went outside once we came back from our day in Spokane. I will continue to stay here whenever I come to town.

After reading some recent negative reviews on this hotel, I some doubts about staying here. I was so glad we kept our reservation! I asked for an early check in and they were more than happy to accommodate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nicely renovated. I was very pleased, and would stay here again.

The beds need new mattress's.Very lumpy. Soft on one side and firm on other side in each mattress. This is the only complaint. The overall rating is a high satisfied but not quite a very satisfied.

The motel i feel was overpriced for what you get, it was a really nice motel but definitely needs updated, it had an older style tv in room with just the basic cable, no pay per view movies like advertised, the food in the restaurant was overcooked hashbrowns and toast were burnt, and service acted like it was inconvenience that i payed for breakfast […] with booking of room, the only real positive was the bed was quite comfortable, i probably wont be back unless price goes down to 70-80 a night Mehr

Parking was terrible with no handicap spaces available. Everyday the parking was full long into the night due to the restaurant/bar patrons and all of the convention rooms busy all day and until well into the night which is fine except again the parking is terrible and people are always walking the halls talking. In my room all 4 lamps needed repair. […] Everytime I touched one of them I thought it would fall apart in my hand they were so loose/wobbly and instead of 3 way bulbs they only hand single setting bulbs in 3 way lamps. When I first opened one of the cabinet doors to unpack I thought the door was going to come off in my hand the hinges were so loose. The bed had a top sheet then a light blanket and at the foot of the bed was a folded blanket. No bedspread or comforter. And the bed was made with the sheet and blanket at such a low level (about 1/4 of the way down from the top of the mattress you couldn't cover up higher than your ribs. No I wasn't impressed at all! When I stayed at a place across the street in the past at least it included breakfast. Mehr

Clean rooms and facility, however, I found this is just a recently renovated building. Putting a new coat of paint and changing small fixtures still left the room feeling dated and there was a distinct musty smell. Also, breakfast was overpriced. Will look for other options next time.

It was a great experience. I was met at the airport by the Mirabeau Park Hotel shuttle right after I arrived. Ashley called me to see where I was so she could come meet me. We talked on the way to the hotel. I arrived just after 1:30 and expected to have to wait for my room, but it was ready. Then I went to the dinning room, MAX, where I had a wonderful […] lunch. I was in town for a teacher's conference, however, I did not rent a car. The hotel management told me they would take me and pick me up from my conference at no cost. I had most of my meals at the hotel and was never disappointed. I also notices their were many families and parties at the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. Mehr

The Max restaurant and bar is outstanding, the fitness room is very decent and they even have a beauty shop. How many hotels can boast that withouth having a casino on site. Booking with you guys was fast and extremely simple. It was really late when I had booked it but my the time I got to the door, I was being taken care of and getting the info on how to get to my room. It was really nice since we had been on the road for three hours straight!!!

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times and has had friends stay there as well. This weekend has made me upset because the maid tells the front desk that we have been smoking in room which is untrue. I explained that it could've been our clothes or the trash I dumped before we left. I can't speak to the right person, they keep taking my name […] and number and tell me it's got to go somewhere else. I'm very disappointed. If they don't fix this problem, we will no longer stay at this hotel and I will recommend everyone I know not to stay there. Mehr

On my recent business trip I was extremely happy to be staying at the Mirabeau park. We stayed here in August. The pool and the hotel grounds were nice but our room was dark and definitely in need of an update.
