Wir waren schön öfters in Hotels in Bologna, haben uns diesemal vor unserer Buchung die Hotelbewertungen durchgelesen und dieses Hotel gebucht. Wir können sagen , es war alles bestens, ein sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer, auch ein sehr super Frühstücksbuffet haben wir vorgefunden. Dieses Hotel kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne alte Möblierung mit großen Kronleuchtern im Eingangsbereich und der Bar. Wir haben uns dort auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war der Knaller. Angefangen vom selbstgemachten Brot bis hin zum Rührei und dem Speck war Alles sehr lecker, auch wenn die Auswahl nicht sehr groß war. Dafür stimmte die Qualität. Die […] Zimmer waren auch gemütlich eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht sehr groß. Wir waren im 4. Stock und der Geräuschpegel von der Hauptstrasse hielt sich auch in Grenzen durch relativ neue Fenster. Das Hotel ist total zentral gelegen!!! Man trifft ein freundliches Personal an und am Morgen erwartet ein ein TOP Frühstück buffet A+++

Fantastic location on Via dell'Independeza and five blocks from Piazza Maggiore. Service was unnoticed, but good. Very clean interiors. Small room (I had a single) and the central air is a bit weak. All said, I was happy with my stay.

I think the Hotel Internazionale was a fine hotel for a short stay in Bologna. It is quite a walk from the train station, but it is central in the historic district and shopping areas. The desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very stuffy and I needed to keep the window open at all times. I had booked early and paid a very reasonable price. […] I would not want to pay the full-price rate. Room was clean and so was the bathroom and they had a nice lounge to relax in. Mehr

Excellent hotel & value for money. Situated on the main road into town, 15minutes by taxi from airport, just 7-8 minute walk to train & bus stations. Plenty of shops & restaurants in easy walking distance under their covered walkways. Definitely a hotel we'd want to come back to in the future, only wish we could have stayed longer!!

Internazionale Hotel--An excellent hotel, situated on the main street in Bologna, Via Independenza, so very convenient for all shops, sights, and only a few minutes walk from the central train station. Easily reached from the airport using the direct bus service straight to the station from the terminal. Altogether a very pleasant stay. 4 star rating, […] and I would agree with that. Mehr

We stayed for a week in late Nov early Dec- hotel was nice with excellent maid service. The girl at the front desk was helpful. Breakfast is very good and a nice atmosphere. The internet is not free. Price for room was very good.

This hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast they served was the best we had on our 10 day trip to Europe. The selection and quality were excellent for an included breakfast. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and to the center of town.

This is a good hotel in a good location. The breakfast was quite nice. We needed an attachment to an email printed, & the hotel staff were quite helpful. They found a flash drive so they could print it from their computer.

A hotel is judged by the comfort of the room not by its surroundings. So this hotel was a complete let down which spoilt our whole Italian trip. For Sept the weather was extremely warm and the air conditioning in the room was non existant. The room was so hot overnight we were reduced to about 3 hours sleep per night. We couldn't open the windows because […] of the street noise outside and were totally worn out during our whole stay. The hotel were informed twice about the problem but never dealt with it at all. The hotel however is nice inside, good position in the city and the breakfast was ok. So for the air conditioning to spoil our stay was a shame Mehr

Hotel position excellent, easy walk to main square, passing shops on the way. Good restaurants in the immediate area (walking distance). Service in the American Bar very pleasant.

The hotel is very close to the train station (5 minute walk) and 10 minute walk to the centre of the city. The building is old (which is understandable) but the room could be cleaner. The bathroom was a little below the mark. The breakfast was excellent. The personnel was good and helpful.

A delightful comfortable hotel in a great central location. Very helpful staff and a delicious breakfast - highly recommended in a beautiful city.

The hotel was very clean and close to everything, 5 min walk from train station and short walk from from all area attractions.

This hotel was in a very convenient, central location. The staff was great but the rooms decor was a little tired

The hotel is near the historic region but right on a very busy street. Not too loud though. Room was fine and good breakfast included. Very good for the price.

It was nice stay, very convenient to walk to the center, on a main street but not noisy, close to the train station to go to Florence or Venice, nice breakfast, friendly stuff. We had problem to access the Internet but we came here to spend Easter in Italy but not to stay all the day in hotel

Our double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together. The sound of the buses passing outside rattled the whole room. Rooms are clean enough but in need of a re-fit. The manager was rude. I assume it's an Italian tourist board who award the stars rating but this hotel does not deserve four stars. Maybe three but most likely two stars. Definitely […] not four stars. Italy and Spain usually have a lower standard of hotel to star rating but this hotel is even below that norm. I travel a lot (>100 nights per year) and widely and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My advice, continue searching. Pass this one. Mehr

Close to the sights and travel amenties one down side no restaurant in the evenings. Cleaniless of rooms execellent. Staff ok. King size bed was actually a zip link so when put together the headboards (which were attached to the wall) didnt line up.Location great for a city break.

Nice comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.All spoke perfect English. Railway station 5 minutes away, as was bus station. Only 7 minutes walk to historical city centre.Located on busy shopping street.

The hotel is in a good location, just a short distance from the train station and on one of the major shopping streets. The breakfast was excellent - we actually probably ate too much as there was a good variety with wonderful pastries and fresh fruits. We were travelling as a family group of 5. Location is convenient, less than 10 minutes walk to the Piazza Maggiore etc, and likewise to the station. It's on the junction of two main roads but we weren't really troubled by traffic noise. It's on a shopping street with all the usual Italian chain stores on it, and down the side streets near the hotel […] are a selection of good standard restaurants and pizzerias. Check in was friendly and they made the effort to put our group in adjacent rooms. Rooms varied from perfectly decent to slightly grand in the case of our corner room which had windows all round and enough space for a sofa. It became known to us as the presidential suite which is overdoing it a bit, but it was nice. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms are a good size with showers that you could use to get moss off your garden path (fortunately they can be adjusted to a less aggressive setting). Bar is pricey but the spirit measures are vast - you won't need two. Breakfast had one of the biggest selections I've seen - all the usual stuff but with plenty of variety. Good coffee too. Service at the front desk was cheerful throughout - their restaurant recommendations came up trumps (although even they said you can't really go wrong) and they arranged use of a PC for us to check in online for return flights. If I had a quibble it was that the aircon was set too high and couldn't be adjusted, so it was a bit warm. But all in all, a definite hit and good value. Mehr

Excellent location - friendly staff and excellent breakfast menu!

This hotel was perfect for our three night stay in Bologna, being located mid way between the station and the main hub of the city (each approximately 5 minutes stroll from the hotel). Very nice hotel. Location was perfect between Bologna train station and main city sites. Had good recommendation for dinner (il Portico), and went there again for lunch. (It was our best meal in Italy). Room and bath were spacious. Hotel staff very accommodating. Would stay there again next time we are in Bologna.

Comfortable bed, clean and convenient to local sightseeing and railway. Friendly staff and a good selection for breakfast. Whilst it is on the main street the sound-proofing worked perfectly and noise was not a problem. We would be quite happy to come back here to this hotel.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Internazionale. Although the hotel is older and the decorations could use some updating, the service was fantastic, and our room and bathroom were the largest that we found in our entire visit to Europe. The breakfast was also our favorite out of all of the ones we tried. The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk from […] the Piazza Maggiore, as well as about 8 minutes from the train station. We used Bologna as our "hub" while visiting central Italy, so the proximity to the train station was definitely a plus! There are several good restaurants nearby, as well as lots of shopping. One of the staff recommended the nearby Ristorante Donatello to us, and it was delicious. Don't expect anything super modern and updated, but as far as service and comfort goes, for the price, this hotel can't be beat. Mehr

Excellent with a fantastic breakfast. Very helpful reception staff.

It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a breakfast every morning which was very nice.

We booked this hotel at the last second and didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Located on the main, downtown street that contains lots of shops, restaurants, etc, our room was nevertheless fairly quiet. A clean, comfortable room with a good working air conditioner gave us what we needed. We didn't have a lot of interaction with […] the hotel staff, but they seemed pleasant enough. The hotel is easy to find, with easy short term parking outside to get your bags out, and check in. The hotel has an underground car park you can use later for 20 euros a day. Well positioned, just 5 minute walk from the very centre of town, the hotel was clean, well appointed, some could even say "up market".. for such a small place. Our room keycard […] would only work for one entry, and then would require a trip down to reception to have it reprogrammed.. inconvenient, made worse by a moody receptionist thinking you were just doing it to ruin their day. We had paid for breakfast, but at checkin this wasn't confirmed, and we weren't told where it was, or at what time. The breakfast was adequate, but by no means sumptuous. If you booked would I suggest you cancel ? No. It's not that bad. But would I go back ? No. Mehr

A Well Situated Hotel In The Centre, High Standard Of Room, For A Very Reasonable Price.

Large, clean hotel a good 5 minute walk from main train station, in a fairly safe city. Great location on main street in town. Good staff. Pay-per-hour wifi, no free internet. No known cheap internet around (no Starbucks or internet cafe in sight). Hotel worker said there is free wifi on occassion that you can "borrow" if you find it. We were given […] a very large room with 2 twin beds, and a 3rd fold out. Beds were comfy, and pillows were firm and good size, not like others in Europe. Large bathroom with toiletries and shower/tub, bidey. In-room safe. Pay minibar, good AC, heating, desk, a few 220V outlets, large flat TV with ~35 channels, mostly Italian, but NO English channels. Free buffet breakfast is very good with cereals, breads, pastries, spreads, some preserves, deli meats, cheeses, yogurts, boiled & scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, various coffees & teas & juices. We stayed at the Hotel Internazionale in Bologna for 2 very hot nights in July. The location is great and an easy walk from the station if you are arriving by train. The room was lovely, the bed big & very comfortable. We even had a little sofa. The bathroom was huge. The public areas were beautifully furnished, in particular the breakfast room. For […] breakfast there was a huge choice of bread, pastries (hot or cold), fresh fruit, ham, etc as well as a hot food choice. Unfortunately they have a very old & totally inefficient air-conditioning system which made the room almost unbearably hot and our stay not as comfortable as it should have been. The desk staff seem reluctant to acknowledge any problem with the air-con. Everything else was great so perhaps the hotel should consider some investment in this department. Mehr

We found this hotel suited all our needs for a weekend break to Bologna. Its decor is very nice and the whole interior is spotlessly clean. The staff are nice and very welcoming.

Hôtel très confortable, idéalement situé en centre ville. Très grande disponibilité du service de réception. Chambre spacieuse et grande qualité de la literie. Petit déjeuner excellent.

Um ótimo hotel, café da manhã excelente. Mas me cobraram o acesso a Internet, pois alegaram que a minha reserva não tinha direito de INTERNET FREE. Outra coisa que eles não informaram aqui no Hoteis.com, o Hotel tem estacionamento só que os hospedes tem que pagar. Perto do Hotel tem estacionamentos publicos pagos mas bem mais em conta q o do Hotel, […] faz fiquem espertos nas ruas q ao entorno do Hotel contece uma Grande Feira popular, se vc deixar em alguma rua ou nos estacionamentos seu carro sera rebocado, como o meu foi. No estacionamento onde deixei o carro não havia nenhuma placa avisando sobre a feira. Mehr

ただし、泊まった部屋が道路に面していて、夜中にゴミ収集車が仕事をしている音が聞こえてうるさかったのが残念です。

Ottimo 4 stelle comodo sia per la Stazione sia per il centro citta'. Camera spaziosa e pulizia impeccabile. Ottima colazione abbondante e varia. Da ritornarci sicuramente.
