Hotel hat 2 Gebaeude... ein sehr ale und andere neu renoviert. Bitte immer nach NEU ZIMMER fragen. Standard im renovierten Zimmer ist ganz ok und entpricht 3 Sterne Hotel. (Klima, WC, TV)

Für den Preis (und im Verhältnis der Preise in Mumbai) ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Mein Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Freundliches Personal. Auf das Frühstück kann man jedoch verzichten, das entsprach nicht dem Niveau welches ich erwartet hätte. Achtung, im Hotel befindet sich eine Disco (Poly Esthers) die wohl nachts außer montags laut sein kann. Als ich zu Besuch war, wurde die Disco renoviert, deswegen hatte ich keine Beeinträchtigung. Aber das sollte man für seine Buchung beachten. Ansonsten empfehlenswert, auch wegen der zentralen Lage in Colaba.

Eher einfaches Hotel in relativ ruhiger Lage, nicht allzu weit vom int. Flughafen entfernt, allerdings nicht zentral, aber sehr nahe am Strand gelegen. Zimmer und Service auch Sauberkeit liegt im Mittelfeld. Der Preis fuer Mumbai akzeptabel.

Das Hotel Bawa war zu unser vollsten Zufreidenheit. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Für Sightseeingtouren in Mumbais Zentrum etwas zu weit gelegen.
Lage
Trident, Nariman Point Mumbai in Mumbai befindet sich am Meer in der Nähe von National Centre for the Performing Arts, Rajabai Tower und Prince of Wales Museum. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Flora-Brunnen und Gateway of India.
Ausstattung
Trident, Nariman Point Mumbai stellt Ihnen Folgendes zur Verfügung: Wellnesscenter, Fitnessstudio und Außenpool. Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 5-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter (rund um die Uhr geöffnet), Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Limousinenservice. Dieses Hotel bietet den Gästen Folgendes: 3 Restaurants sowie Coffee-Shop/Café und Bar/Lounge. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Ein Highspeed-Internetzugang (W-LAN und Kabel) steht Ihnen gegen eine Gebühr zur Verfügung. Satelliten-TV-Empfang sowie Pay-TV stehen in den Zimmern zur Verfügung. Zur Zimmerausstattung gehören außerdem: Schreibtische, kostenlose Zeitungen sowie Direktwahltelefone und Voicemail. Das Fort-Viertel bildet das Zentrum Mumbais. In der Vergangenheit war hier eine Konzentration von Behörden sowie Banken und Firmen zu verzeichnen. Auch heute noch unterhalten einige der wichtigsten Firmen Büros in diesem Stadtteil. Das Churchgate-Viertel, das seinen Namen dem berühmten Bahnhof Churchgate Railway Station verdankt, befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft von Nariman Point, einem der modernsten Gebiete Mumbais. Der von der prächtigen klassizistischen Town Hall überragte Horniman Circle ist der Mittelpunkt des Fort-Viertels. Die Gebäude im gotischen und viktorianischen Stil im Fort-Viertel sind eindrucksvolle Zeugnisse der britischen Kolonialzeit. Besuchern mit einem Interesse an indischer Kunst wird ein Besuch der Jehangir Art Gallery - Mumbais bekanntestes Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst in der Nähe des Prince of Wales Museum - wärmstens empfohlen. Zu den weiteren berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten gehören Flora Fountain, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (früher Victoria Terminus), das Gebäude der Municipal Corporation sowie die University of Mumbai mit dem Glockenturm Rajabai.

Direkt am Marine Drive gelegen und nur 10 Gehmimuten vom Indian Gate entfernt. Wir hatten eine fantastische Aussicht über die Skyline Mumbais. Der Service und die Zimmer entsprechen den Erwartungen die man von einem 5 Sterne Hotel hat. Perfekt!

"Old Hotel with fair service and crazy prices."
This is a worn out hotel with fair service and crazy prices. Internet was charged over crazy. Breakfast is over the mark. Too many busloads of convention people with the lobby filled with luggage all day, every day. Very good location but there are much better places to stay.

busy business hotel, high class but not with a warmy touch. Food at most of restaurant (start with a "F") forgot the name, was a disater, cannot believe they charge so much for a few things to eat during breakfast. Extremely costly internet cost, almost Rupees 1000 per day. It is old fashion of hanging out "DONT DISTurb" card out the room. Arrived early and left late thanks to the front desk and Delna and Sachin at the concierge desk. Outstanding service. Great view of the bay.
"Fantastic hotel"
This is a luxury hotel with all the service and the high standard (and security at the entrance) that comes with it. Even though we arrived from the airport sweaty and with dirty backpacks, we were greeted with smiling courtesy all around. All the staff speak perfect English and are very friendly and helpful. We had paid extra to get a sea view room, […] and the view was amazing, as was the standard of the room. We had planned to have dinner elsewhere but ended up having a late dinner in India Jones (one of the restaurants, with Asian cuisine) after kindly being admitted without a reservation. The food was great, as was the service. Next morning we tried the breakfast buffet in Frangipani, which was simply amazing. It wasn't included, but when we checked out the bill for the breakfast hadn't arrived, and so we were treated to it anyway. The only downside with Frangipani is that the acoustics make it rather noisy. Try the smaller lounge buffet for a calmer breakfast. We had our second dinner at Frangipani (Italian and Indian cuisine) which was also very good, but had the same noise problem in the evening. Also note that Frangipani doesn't serve alcohol. Both the hotel and the restaurants are heartily recommended. Mehr

I had a great time here. The only thing I would complain about is that the internet service is ridiculously expensive. I payed 100 dollars for a five day internet connection in my room. The most expensive in all my one month trip through india.
Excellent hotel! Great breakfast buffets were included. Pool is gorgeous. Got a free upgrade to an ocean view, king-size bed room. Would love to return!

I had a room for 3 days for which i had paid the regular rates but sad part of it that the room rent dosen't cover breakfast.Then what is use of staying in such costly hotel ? I think all rents should cover the breakfast.I will not prefer as well not recommend this hotel any one for the stay.Many beautiful hotels are around nariman point area.

One of the old classics of Bombay. The Trident - Oberoi resides in the plush Nariman Point district of Bombay and offers breath taking views of Marine Drive. "One of the best!"
The hotel is amazing and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was not included but they let us have it anyway. It was the best part of the stay. The staff was always extra nice. In room dining was superb. 5 out of 5 all the way!
The Trident hotel was lovely. it is ideally located close to Malls and the main shopping areas of Colaba. The staff were fantastic, and the hotel provided a wonderful tranquil escape from the chaos of the city of Mumbai.

"Excellent - once I was moved into a non-smoking rm"
When I checked in, I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms. The smoking room was not only smelly, but also poorly appointed. The following day, I was moved to a non-smoking room which was far better in terms of smell and decor. The hotel staff were consistently excellent - very attentive and professional.

situated right on the water, with a great, clean wide walking pathway to enjoy walks along the water. staff were wonderful, and helpful with what ever we needed. Beds are a little harder but we like the westin very soft style. Great water pressure and bathrooms with bathtubs. most of the rooms have black out blinds which work very well. we were lucky […] if the hotel was full to get upgraded if our class of room was not open, the updated rooms are AMAZING! hardwoods, open bathrooms to enjoy the views. Food and buffet is very tasty though seems to be very similar every night, mixed but more india than not. Very clean. newer rooms are not musty at all. the gym though only open till 10 is very well equipped. business center open 24 hours, are totally there to help when i needed 5 sets of presentations when our case never arrived. Great location by the seaside close to the main financial and business district, within walking distance to a number of sights, restaurants and attractions. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. "Great location and high standard"
We wanted a hotel that was conveniently located in downtown Mumbai, had a view and offered luxury at an affordable price. We never regretted choosing the Trident! OWe had booked a club room which came with free shuttle in a nice limousine from the airport and on arrivale at the hotel we were taken straight up to the club floor where we could check into […] our beautiful corner room overlooking the sea and the city and without further delay even though it was only 10.30 am. the room was very tastefully decorated and the access to the lounge worth it's money with a delicious breakfast, really nice coffee and excellent choice of treats during high tea and cocktail hour. After spending the day in a hot and dusty city that was just what kept us going! The pool itlsef was nice and the service great. The only negative would be the traffic flowing around (which you could not see but hear) and the clouds of curry smell that were wafting through the air. There are some nice restarurants in the area and Gateway of India only a three minute taxi drive away - again lost of restaurants and entertainment. Security was superb and we felt very safe and service was outstanding, polite, concerned without being in yiur face all the time! We would definitely go back! Mehr

only drawback is that everything is quite pricey for Indian standards but very comparable to what you'd find in the Western world. Staff are incredibly friendly and food very good indeed.

Confort et service parfait ! En 3 jours l'ingénieur en informatique n'a jamais pu nous donner l'accès à internet même en wi-fi. : Dommage ! A recommander pour ceux qui peuvent y mettre le prix et cherchent un hôtel international sans la touche locale

Alt det fundamentale var i top. God kvalitet af service overalt, fine værelser, fantastisk udsigt, hvis man tager et værelse ud mod havet og ekstremt venligt personale. Men hotellets fælles opholdsrum er sterile, blottet for hygge eller charme. Kan varmt rekommendera Trident. Hotellet ligger utmed Marine Drive med en fantastisk utsikt över hela bukten. Nära till ex Gate of India och andra centrala platser och sevärdheter.

Hôtel très bien situé, de nombreux restaurants très proches, à côté du National Center for Performing Arts.... Piscine très agréable et propre. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de jus de mangue frais au bar alors que c'est la pleine saison des mangues.
