Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Innenstadt von Seattle erstreckt sich entlang des Puget Sound vom historischen Pioneer Square im Süden bis zum schicken Belltown im Norden. Dazwischen reihen sich Bürogebäude, Einkaufsgalerien und Apartments in Backsteinhäusern an den grünen Boulevards aneinander. Hier befinden sich das Kongresszentrum und Pike Place Market, wo Lachse fliegen können. Gäste sollten auch unbedingt die futuristische öffentliche Hauptbibliothek besuchen. Die Zwillingsstadien Seattles und der International District liegen südlich von der Innenstadt.

"bed bugs"
Place is infested had so many bug bites and we left a electric toothbrush in our room when we called they said they couldn't find it .Would never go back.

The hotel is under construction and just a mess right now. Also, you had to PAY for internet... honestly, get with the times.

Nice Hotel but furniture in room needs updating. The bathroom walls and floor a little dirty. Bed was comfortable. The lobby was being worked on during our stay.

Staff was extremely genuine, helpful, efficient and professional. The rooms are small and very dated, but clean. Location was great. Close to Pike Street Market, great local restaurants and Macy's.

"Great place..."
I loved the hotel, good location, friendly service. Only thing I didn't like was there was no elevator in the parking garage. You can stop and unload, but the area is kinda tight to swing in through and sometimes full. However, I would totally stay there again and just plan a little better!

"The Seattle Warwick -- Perfect Location"
My granddaughters and I stayed for the weekend and it worked out perfectly. It is close to The Market, The Needle, Shopping, Dining, and entertainment. We left things in the car and Valet was wonderful about retrieving the car each time we needed entry. All employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. The lady who checked us in went out of her way to get us a room facing the Space Needle, the pool was always clean, a great botique grocery store is right across the street, you can walk to Westlake Mall to catch the Monorail to Seattle Center (cheap rates!), you can walk 4 blocks to Pike Place Market, on-site restaurant & bar had great food and service, […] and housekeeping was on the ball (instantly delivered us more towels)! I requested two doubles through hotels.com, but was told by the hotel upon arrival that this is a preference and not guaranteed when booking through a third party. (I haven't experienced that before, so I will be reading the fine print in the future!) The staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel is not too huge, low key, and clean. I was in town for a convention, and the walk to the convention center was not bad- about 10 minutes. I could hear some traffic noise from my third floor room, but I was so tired every night from walking/ sightseeing that it didn't keep me up for long. We were not able to check into our hotel until well after 3 pm as the room was not ready. The manager bumped us up to a Suite with free internet. However, our room charges ded show an internet charge. I hate that! The front girl did remove it. "Convenient Location"
The hotel quality was fine and nicely located between the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. My only recommendation is not stay on the 4th floor facing south. There is no view at all just a concrete wall of the parking garage. Any floor above would be fine just not the fourth floor.
"It was alright... but i wouldn't stay there again"
No microwave in the room. Wifi cost $11 a day. The only internet they had was in the "business center" on two computers that were super slow and often in use. If had been any further than 10 blocks from the convention center I would have left and stayed elsewhere.

Good central location, but our "view" from the 4th floor was a brick wall three feet away from our window, the heater didn't work, and the bathtub didn't drain well.

"very nice!"
My wife and i greatly enjoyed or stay at this hotel, and we got a great deal. Our room had a lovely view, and the king bed was awesome.
"Great view, great stay, expensive parking"
The title says it all. You get a great view, right downtown, but you'll pay thru the nose to park there at the hotel. Each car is $30 per night! Decent customer service too, so yeah go for it.
"Warwick Seattle - excellent location, good deal"
I was initially a bit worried about the Warwick after reading some of the really negative reviews of the hotel a few days before our stay, but my partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Warwick recently. We were not in one of the newer, remodeled rooms, but our room was perfectly fine for a two night stay and we had a partial view of the Space […] Needle from the fourth floor.. We had some trouble initially with the air conditioner, but the engineer on duty had it running very quickly. My only complaint was that we weren't able to push the room temp down past 60 degrees, so it was rather warm for us at night (we like a cold room for sleeping). The staff was warm and friendly and the hotel was in an excellent location for downtown sight-seeing. At check out we were charged for someone else's meal at the hotel restaurant, but the staff took care of that very quickly, with no questions asked. Yes, I wish they didn't charge $30/ night for parking, but it was still cheaper than parking at Pike Market for the day or taking Amtrak to Seattle. Overall the Warwick was a great place to stay in downtown Seattle at a very good price. Mehr

We were only there for one night and checked in late. Room was comfortable and roomy. Had a small frige which I always like. Had a good meal in the restaurant. I'd stay again.

We recieved excellent service at the Warwick. Our flight was cancelled, so we had to cancel our first night at the Warwick. When we were able to check in the next day, we were given an upgrade for the trouble. We did not expect it, but it was very appreciated. This was the first time I used Hotels.Com. The hotel was a great location since so many things were in walking distance. We walked to Pike Place Market, downtown,The Space Needle,the wharf area and other attractions. The service at the hotel was nearly 100%. Check in was quick,the room was ready and the concierges were very helpful. The only minor problem […] was when we asked for extra towels from the morning housekeeping staff and they failed to deliver them while we were gone for the day. "Seattle Warwick Hotel - great location downtown"
Very friendly staff with 'Johnny-on-the-spot' service. We arrived early, so room not ready yet. They not only unloaded our car, but held our luggage until we returned from sightseeing. Location was great for walking everywhere we wanted to go for Pike Place, Aquarium, Space Needle, and Restaurants. The only thing that was not pleasant was the room temp […] was not comfortable. A little too cold, couldn't figure out how to change temp. It said 68, but didn't feel like it. We would recommend this hotel to others. Mehr

"Hotel Warwick"
The first room I was given had curtains with stains on them. I was moved to a second room with the same problem. It turned out to be water stains. However, I was quickly accommodated to a room with a spectacular view of the city. I was also compensated with a full breakfast. The supervisor and her staff were approachable, friendly, accommodating, and […] aimed to please. I will definitely return to the Warwick Hotel and have even recommended the hotel to an acquaintance and to a visitor at the hotel bar. Mehr
"Warwick Hotel - Excellent Service"
We originally booked at the Warwick for 2 reasons - located within walking distance (20 minutes) or short taxi ride from the Amtrak Train Station / and for the pool (we have three children - so the pool is a must)! The staff at the hotel were accodating and very helpful. They had helpful advice regarding the surrounding area and were more than willing […] to offer any assistance (holding our bags after checkout so we could spend the last day unencumbered). The Pacific Place was within a 10 minute walk (many restaurants, shops, theatre etc). Also a deli / grocery store directly across from the hotel. We were then able to purchase easy breakfast items that could be kept in the room fridge. Overall - a great choice for families. Mehr
"Downtown Seattle Stay"
The location of this hotel is fairly central to most attractions and shopping. It's within walking distance to everything I needed and across from a grocery store open until 2am. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

"Good Location"
Overall stay was nice. Room was clean and bright, bedding and pillows were good. View was also nice, however there was building construction going on across the street. I would stay again BUT beware of the parking fees in the building ! Look for off site/street parking.

Walking around downtown Seattle is onwe of my favorite things to do and this is the perfect location to do just that! The staff was congenial, helpful and willing to hear feedback.The room service was wonderful and FAST! The price through Hotels.com was just right. "Wrong Room and No Help"
My wife and I received no help in switching from a room with 2 double beds (really? for a married couple). They didn't even ask when we checked in. Kept passing us off when we asked to be switched and in the end they never helped us change rooms.
Had a great stay, good view of the space needle. close to good restaurants,theaters and lounges. All within walking. Would stay for the third time.

My husband and I booked this hotel based on reviews and the incredibly low rate (maybe it was just the time of year we went) and were incredibly impressed by everything from the moment we walked in the door! The staff were all very nice and helpful. They upgraded our room and we had the most incredible view of the Space Needle. The proximity to all […] the best Seattle sights was awesome! We walked easily to the Pike Place Market, Westlake Center (took the monorail to the Seattle Center), and even the docks to catch a ferry to Bremerton. The hotel lobby was pretty small and dingy looking. The service was OK, nothing spectacular. There was a really bad odor in the hallway and elevator, similar to cigarette smoke. Their pool was out of order and they were sending guests across the street to a neighboring hotel that would allow us to use their pool. I thought that was kind of odd. The […] location was OK. Prior to making my reservations I called to inquire about the hotel having a pool and parking. I was insured that In fact the hotel did have a pool and hot tub however the person I spoke with failed to mention that the pool was not in operation due to service. I feel this was a major lack of detail on the hotel staffs part. I was also told they did […] indeed have parking however again they failed to mention a very important part. And that detail was $30/ a night!!!! Now the price would not be to bad if it was mentioned somewhere, be it on the website, or when I called to inquire about the parking. "Warwick Seattle"
A very nice, older hotel. Neighborhood is about 2 blocks to the dodgy end, but new construction may bring it back to fully respectable. I had a very comfortable, very nice stay. On the flip side, I would have liked complementary wifi, but made due without. The price was extremely reasonable.

"Warwick Hotel - bring a taser."
The room was gorgeous. Great view of the space needle and the downtown skyline. Although the area was a bit shady. This is not really the hotel's fault. We came from Portland and I guess it is just a very different culture. The lobby and the elevators need some upkeep. The mirror was broken in one of the elevators and it looked to be duct taped back […] together. Mehr
