Einzig die sehr zentrale Lage am Rande der zentralen Amüsierstraßen des French Quarter sollten Besucher überdenken, die besonderen Wert auf eine ruhige Umgebung legen (innerhalb des Hotels ist hiervon allerdings nichts zu spüren).

Nov. 2012Das Hotel ist unschlagbar gut gelegen, nur eine Querstraße von der quirligen Bourbon Street weg, so dass man mitten im Geschehen ist, aber nicht den Partylärm vor dem Fenster hat. Frühstück hatten wir uns gespart, braucht man auch nicht, da um die Ecke jede Menge Cafés/Restaurants sind. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels hatten wir hier selbst im 5. Stock in einem Zimmer am Ende des Ganges noch sehr guten WLAN-Empfang. Das Zimmer war sauber, recht geräumig und hatte einen Safe.

"Worst night ever"
OMG! Two of the worst nights ever in a hotel. The noise from Bourbon street was unbearable. The lowriders had bass playing so loud that my window shook. "out of date rooms"
Can keep time period but still have a sense of modern feel. Felt like I should be in the guest house at a cross between country house and 80 floral print that needs a lot of new but retrospective ofthe period they are trying to embellish The bathroom, however , was exquisitely played out. standing granite shower. Same at counter tops and sink is amazing. […] The tub was also a Jacuzzi tub and I sure did enjoy the sauna steam room and shower to cool off was best part of my room. The food was also something to mention. 24 hr room service with rooftop bar and pool were also to die for . Service was A+, and right in the heart of the french quarter! This is probably the most charming, family owned hotels in New Orleans...perfectly located on Royal Street in the French Quarter. From the beautiful architecture outside to the charming interiors to the friendly staff, staying at The Monteleone is a true treat. The hotel restaurant, Criollo, is first rate. Great hotel staff...unpacking car, the bellman accidentally smudged one of my shirts...apologies all around...dry cleaned and delivered at no charge the next day. Hotel Monteleone was great! The entire staff was helpful, expecially the VIP Concierge. The room was small but very clean. I used the spa and had a relaxing facial. This is a great hotel. Beautiful and perfect location. My only complaint is about the pillows. Beds are super comfortable but pillows sink too much. "Excellent location"
The location of the hotel was great. We did not drive at all during our stay. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was helpful. The only complaint I can possibly make is that our refrigerator did not work. We called to report it, but no one ever gave us any more information concerning it or came to fix it. "Winter blues breaker"
The hotel location is great. It's on quiet Royal Street and within easy walking distance to all of craziness on Bourbon Street, the French Market and other French Quarter favorites. We spent some quality time at the Carousel bar watching the world go around. We ate at the restaurant, great food and service. And we also enjoyed a lazy room service breakfast. […] all were top notch! This is an old hotel and like everything in the French Quarter the best is made of small space. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. "Convenient Location in French Quarter"
I have stayed at this hotel twice before this time and they were wonderful as always. This time was no exception, however, since i booked a room "blind" so to speak for the "special price" at hotels.com, this particular room was very very small. One had to actually turn sideways to walk past the bed and tv armoire. The room was furnished fine and tidy […] and clean, I was just surprised by how small it was. "Great for Pet Lovers, Girls Weekend and Mardi Gras"
We got the basic double room. This room is small for even just 2 people. The beds were too small to sleep comfortably with another person. Upgrade! The pet policy is reasonable -- only draw back is that you must walk a few blocks to find grass for the dog to do business on. We live in New Orleans and stayed here during Mardi Gras for a staycation. […] I love the Monteleone. The bar is awesome. Bartenders are top notch. Restaurant is ok - the food is mediocre and our server was awful. However, the maitr'd was excellent. The location of the Monteleone can't be beat. The pool is beautiful and nicely heated. The staff at the spa are kind of rude. We had our treatments done at the Ritz where they are much friendlier. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"Perfect location and excellent staff"
Went on a quick 4 day trip for this year's Mardi Gras with friends. The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff was very efficient especially on such a hectic weekend. My friends and I had a great stay at the hotel, definitely recommend it to others.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
