Wir haben das Hotel als Zwischenstop benötigt. Waren überrascht über die schöne Lage so nahe am Airport. Die Holzbauweise des Hotels, der großzügige Eingangsbereich mit dem Restaurant und dem großen Kamin strahlte Gemütlichkeit aus. Wir hatten ein schönes,großes, helles, ruhiges Zimmer. Im Preis war kontinentales Frühstück enthalten. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und waren lediglich enttäuscht, dass für unseren Zwischenstop auf dem Rückflug kein Zimmer mehr frei war und wir ein anderes Hotel suchen mußten. Wir werden beim nächsten Mal wieder dort übernachten.

Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden und kann das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Allerdings ist es nichts für Leute, die ein gepflegtes Frühstück als Eintritt in den Tag brauchen, denn Frühstück gibt es dort nicht. Allerdings gleich 2 nette Lokalitäten, die gutes Frühstück anbieten: Das Citizen (2 Min) Fußweg und das Cafe Mecka (5 Min). Und eine Mikrowelle gibt es auch, mit der kann man dann das Nötigste aus dem Supermarkt gekaufte aufwärmen. Und 2 Supermärkte mit 24 h Öffnungszeiten sind auch gleich um die Ecke. Busse ins Zentrum gibt es reichlich und auch gleich um die Ecke. Fahrzeit 10 Minuten.

Das Hotel liegt sehr außerhalb der city. Bei der 1. Anfahrt habe ich mich sehr erschrocken wie weit weg es ist. Aber mit Mietwagen kein Problem. Zur Rush hour über Interstate 5 oder Landstrasse hat es ca 30min - 45min in die city gedauert. Außerhalb dieser Zeit ca 20min. Parken auf dem Hotelparkplatz kostenlos!!! und wlan ebenso. Kaffee gibt es den ganzen Tag for free. Zimmer sind ** entsprechend, aber sauber und wirklich o.k. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht! Das Frühstück habe ich nicht genutzt, ist aber im Preis mit inbegriffen.

Großzügige Zimmer, super sauber. Im Kühlschrank eine kleine Überrasschung: Wasser und 2x Cola. Die Miniküche ist bestückt mit Popcorn und lecker Kaffee. Alles im Preis mit drin. 3 Pc´s / Internet stehen zur Verfügung, auch drucken kann man. Fahrradverleih und Laundry. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gegend ist auch Abends zu empfehlen, sehr gemischtes Puplikum. Ein Ausflug zum Mexicaner um die Ecke sollte unbedingt auf dem Speißeplan stehen.

...hier werden alle Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Die Kombination aus rustikal-gemütlichem Ambiente und modernem-strengen Design ist hier mehr als gelungen. Und das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen.

We were provided with a corner room for our New Years stay. Quiet corner that help our service dog chill. Will stay here again. When we needed more coffee cups and towels, they were brought up no worries. Clean quiet, Joy!!!!!

"Renaissance Marriott Seattle"
Great stay. They had a pack and play for our daughter, included parking and newspaper at hotels.com price. Also helped us with a late checkout request. Loved the fogless bathroom mirror, the view of the city, and quiet clean accommodations.
"Good hotel if you are accustom to highway noise"
The hotel is in a convenient location to the downtown district. However it is immediately adjacent to the 5 freeway. The hotel windows are not sound proof allowing a substantial amount of freeway traffic noise to enter the room. We had difficulty sleeping the first evening and had to ask the hotel staff to move us to another room that is not so near […] the freeway. Noise is acceptable with this room but still not low enough to be in the comfort zone. For the price Renaissance charged it is a shame that the windows are not sound proofed. Mehr

"Noisy!"
Hotel is adjacent to freeway. Ended up putting in ear plugs half-way through the night, in frustration with all the noise (big rigs, horns, and a constant flow of traffic!) Two dirty glasses and someone elses melted ice left in the ice box. Ice machine on our floor was out of service. Toilet seats won't stay in the upright position--perhaps a woman-focused […] hotel?...and VERY low to the ground. Shower curtain had stains. The hotel was very well maintained, cleaned, and the service was great...until you get to your room. I'm pretty sure the carpet in the lobby was more clean than my room. Mehr

"Comfort with a View"
I loved this hotel. It's beautiful. All the staff was welcoming and efficient. We checked in extra early, and they had a room for us. Our rooms were roomy. Our bed and bedding was comfortable and cozy. The view from our room was amazing. What a great deal. The top floor even had a bar with a view at night you would pay for. The city and the space needle […] were lit up and gorgeous and it was very romantic. Both our rooms were corner rooms on both stays and the room was so quiet it was hard to even hear anyone knocking at the door. Thanks to hotels.com we got a free upgrade to a junior suite the first visit and thanks to Marriott, we got a free upgrade the second visit. Mehr

This hotel is first rate with really great customer service and professionalism. Proximity to Pike's Market and other sites is excellent. Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms; sparkling in fact.

"Renaissance Seattle Hotel: Fantastic!"
This was our first time to Seattle and we picked the Renaissance Seattle Hotel based primarily on price and location. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the room, and hotel in general. It's a little east of the market, but definitely within walking distance. We were very, very pleased. Nothing but good things to say and we'll stay there […] again whenever we come back. "The Renaissance Hotel, Seattle-next to a big hill!"
The Renaissance was a really nice hotel. The bellhops were extremely helpful helping my family and I find rides to and from the airport and to our cruise port. The front desk staff was hot and cold, depending on who you got to help you. The views were great (except the one of the highway). The only downside is it's on the top of the biggest hill in […] downtown Seattle (so it seems). It was a good workout, but tough for my grandma to walk up. (She usually took a cab from the water.) "Luxury hotel"
Clean, comfortable, and large. This hotel was great for the price on hotels.com. Steep, uphill walk back to hotel which I enjoy. Situated between east and west area attractions with free bus route. About a 20 minute walk to Pike's Market.

Rather too busy and had to wait 25 minutes for a table for breakfast but room was clean and spacious. Our view from the bedroom was of a major dual carriageway. I would still be quite happy to use the hotel again.

The Renaissance Seattle, was in the perfect location. You were able to walk to everything, from Safeco field, down to the pier, and the shopping district. "Perfect choice - highly recommended"
Great staff. Nicely refurbished. Pool and hot tub are the only areas not up to same standard. As everything else cosmetically.
Was upgraded to a junior-type suite (obviously a positive). On the negative, the sofa in the living room was very, very dirty - dirt clearly visible on the surface of it. Appeared to not have been vacumed in quite some time (years!).

Myself and my girlfriend had a great time at this hotel. everyone one was nice and friendly they even let us check in earlywhich was awesome. the only thing that bothered me was when my girlfriend was previewing the music and it all of a sudden after like two songs a voice came on saying that the free preview was over. i quickly ran to to the tv to […] change the channel but, i was to late. long story short we were billed like 16 dollars for listening to music. sad thing was we only used it for like 15 seconds. i was bitter about that but everything else was good. wish i would have been comped. I have three words for you: Bring ear plugs!! If your a lite sleeper or need quiet you'll need them. I had to pick some up at the drug store. Luckily it was only two blocks away.

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are very clean, very good sized, The beds are the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. The room itself is designed well with light switches and outlets easily located. A VERY nice hotel. Right in downtown, close to everything, the convention center, Pike Street, Shopping. I was upgraged to a corner view room beacause of hotel membership points status. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. "Renaissance Hotel in Seattle Wa"
My Fiance and I stayed in the Junior Suite, the pictures make it look bigger but it was still a really nice room, we had a gorgeous view from all of our windows and contrary to what people say, the highway was not all that loud, and it wasn't a disturbance. Everyone downstairs was extremely helpful, On our last night there we went to eat at the RView […] Restaurant/Lounge on the top floor, It might be nice if you are 21 but the food was not up to par for what you pay, we ordered the fettucini alfredo and it was bland and the chicken was burnt. We left and went downstairs to ask where they would suggest a good restaurant that was open late (It was about 9:00pm) and Lucy told us about Icon Grill just a few blocks away, she even called and set up a reservation as we stood there and called for a town car! She was wonderful! Icon Grill is a must go, it's gorgeous and eclectic and the food is great. The Hotel is a little far from Pike Place but on a sunny day it's a good walk. The map they give is kind of cartoony so we had to stop and ask directions a couple of times because we got lost, it can get confusing where to go so be prepared, other then that our stay was fabulous, for it being my fiance's first trip he said he can't wait to go back with all the stuff we did. We would recommend the Hotel, although we want to stay somewhere else a little closer to everything. Mehr

This hotel, modest but roomy, is near the library and a clear shot to the Bellview ferry pier on foot, and by taxi to Seattle center. Pleasant staff, good concierges. Great breakfasts....BUT if you do not travel with a computer, all is despair with a pricey and difficult "business certer:" and impossible room connections. I stayed at the Renaissance Seattle with my two children and enjoyed the experiene very much. The staff was attentive and wonderful. The view of the city and the character of the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool on the 28th floor and being able to walk downtown. There was plenty of information about the city- including which […] places were most popular to visit and where to find them. We were able to walk downtown and down to the water- enjoyed some lunch, and then walked on to Pikes Place- even stopping in at the first ever Starbucks by Pikes Place (which I only knew because of fun information tid-bits provided by the hotel). The next day we chose to visit the Science Center and the Space Needle- we easily found information at the hotel with directions and phone numbers. The room was clean and very comfortable- one of the best places I have ever stayed. Next time we will stay here again and walk down to the aquarium! Can't wait! Mehr

"Slept well in Seattle"
This was a fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, modern decor, easy access to shopping and sites of Seattle, accommodating concierge - overall great value for money. The top floor lounge area was lovely and had great happy hour specials, tasty food and drinks, and friendly, prompt service. Only negative about the hotel was that the hot tub water […] left you smelling like dirty socks. But, if you can avoid the hot tub, the rest of the stay was wonderful! Mehr

Simply the best hotel I've stayed at in Seattle so far (I've visited 17 times from Ohio since 1996). We came in for the Seahawks/Saints playoff game and were blown away by Renaissance! I will certainly go back! Great amenities, helpful staff, amazingly comfortable bed, and an all-around elegant hotel. After the game we celebrated with some drinks […] on the top floor restaurant/bar, which was fabulous. Great atmosphere! The hotel is great, the room was super clean and the staff was amazing. It's only about 5 downhill blocks to everything. The price was very good for a hotel that close to the city center. Walking back to the hotel from the market or downtown may be a little bit of a hall since it is uphill, but it's only an $8 cab ride if you want to take the easy way. […] I'll stay again!! Mehr

"Had a great time"
This hotel was around everything we needed. We took the Transit Sound from the airport and walked 6 blocks to the hotel. No problem. We also could walk to catch the 550 express bus to Bellevue to visit family and back again. On the second day we had a wonderful breakfast buffet, and sat and read the newspaper. We also could easily walk to Pikes Place […] and the Seattle Aquarium. Oh, and the library is kiddie corner to the west side of the hotel, and that's the coolest looking library I've ever seen! "Very agreeable with a few missing details"
Stayed here one night for our wedding anniversary. Love the theme and decor! We didn't want to pay the parking fee (a little steep for us), so we parked at a friend's house nearby and walked. Enjoyed a fantastic view of the sunset from the Rview lounge on the top floor. Wish our room had offered robes, and we were a bit surprised there was not a stocked […] fridge considering the price of the room. Also couldn't find the little book or pamphlet that has hotel info like check-in/-out time, room service menu (I think maybe they didn't offer room service?), or when their pool and fitness facilities open/close. I'd call these inconveniences, but not complaints. Everything else was great! Glad they're trying to save on water and energy by doing linens every 3 days (unless you request service sooner) and they encourage you to reuse your towels. Didn't interact with any hotel personnel other than the gentleman who checked us in and out, but he was very charming :) FAST elevators - geez! Mehr
"Great Location"
If you are visiting Seattle, the Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of everyting, including the Seattle Center, Pioneer Square and Pikeplace Market. Parking is a little expensive, as it is everywhere in Seattle, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the service is excellent.

good hotel in a great location. easy to get to from the airport. very clean, extremely knowledgable staff about area restaurants and attractions. got double charged for my hotel bill, so check carefully your final bill. also, in seattle it is extremely expensive for all the "little things" that add up. for instance to use the computer in the business […] room is the most costly I have ever encountered. it was over $20 for a simple usage of the internet. the pool was OK,not real clean and the windows needed washing. the hot tub was a warm tub. be careful on the pool floor it is very slippery and dangerous. didn't try the restaurant in the hotel since it was closed most of the time and besides with all the great seafood places nearby, why bother with standard business hotel food. overall good hotel with great staff (probably the best of any hotel that i have seen). "Nice hotel at top of the hill!"
A very clean, functional hotel. Undergoing renovation in June 2009 but effect on guests very little. Restaurant was closed but upstairs bar had fab views, especially at sunset and very good quality food. Decor was comfortable but not fussy. Bed was very comfy and no noise could be heard from other rooms. Bathroom door is just a slider so be aware if […] you are not sharing room with a nearest and dearest! Stayed at the Hotel for the INTA conference based at the convention center. The conference involved going to and from all day long so, the walk was far and I typically took a cab for $7 each way. The Hotel itself is fine and same as all others in the same price range. Eric the concierge is very helpful. In fact I doubled up by going to conference and […] getting engaged at Snoqualmie falls - - Eric set the room up with ross and champagne to make the surprise even better.
