Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SW Mall & Airport Area - Eagan

Air conditioning didn't work well and cable kept going out. Otherwise okay stay. Front desk were nice enough to print and fax document for me. The printer didn't work in their business center. Hotel was a little run down and not the typical standard holiday inn express. But fine for one night.

Had a great time at the Holiday Inn Express in Eagan, MN. Used it as a central location for access to both attractions in St. Paul and to the Mall of America. One comment is that they didn't re-make the beds each morning and we were the first rooms to be done each day (close to the lobby, etc.) so we had to ask for clean towels. This motel had everything we needed to have a fun Mall of America weekend. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the pancake maker at breakfast!

The entire hotel was very clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Nice pool area. The breakfast was super yummy, too! The only downside is that our room faced the highway which is very close to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Overnight stay and found the hotel to be very clean, front desk was very friendly. Would recommend staying here.

This hotel was outstanding. The staff was awesome and super kind and friendly. The breakfast was very yummy too. Very easy to get too. Will stay here again!

This hotel was so convenient for out of town guests like us! We started our day at Valleyfair and found our hotel so easily afterwards. That night we enjoyed two nearby restaurants/bars (the hotel even gave everyone 1 free drink at either place). Then the next morning we found the Mall of America very easily!! All within only 10-15 minutes of each of […] these places. It's also super close to Target, Cub Foods, a movie theatre, fast food and much more! Condition of the hotel was nice but we were on the second floor and one side of the hall was smoking rooms and other side was non-smoking... but the entire floor smelled like smoke. That was a bit disappointing. We had a whirlpool suite (same price as a regular room!) and it was nice and relaxing. The bathroom was really nice because it had his & her sinks. Free continental breakfast was pretty good... muffins, fruit, yogurt, waffles (frozen... nothing special), biscuits and gravy, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay there again if we were in the area.... just not on the 2nd floor. Blood on toilet when we arrived - took forever for someone to come clean it - and couldn't wait around as we had 2 small children with us and needed to find some supper. Called ahead to request a crib - was not ready for our arrival - found it waiting for us in the hall outside our room upon return from supper. Someone then came to clean the toilet. […] Was also told when we called ahead that a fridge was included in our room - it wasn't when we got there but they would charge us for one ($10/night if we wanted one). Hotel room was musty and damp the whole time (swim suits wouldn't even dry) Breakfast service hours great (6-10am) pool open till midnight - great! Really good, fair prices restaurants next door! The hotel was really nice but I was close to the smoking rooms and it was gross! They should keep the smoking room as far away as posssible from other rooms.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast wasn't too bad either. It was a good experience.

Great staff very freindly, room was very clean, pool and hot tub were well maintained. Best hot breakfast we have had. Changed everyday and plenty of food for everyone. Large open area for eating.

This place is tucked away in a quiet area. Awesome, awesome, awesome staff!! We received an upgrade to a two room suite at no additional charge. We were also offered free drinks at two area restaurants. The room was clean, pool area was nice with plenty of towels, and the breakfast was outstanding. Very close to the MOA, great restaurants close by, very nice area. Great staff, love the rooms, spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub are large and very nice as well. Will stay here again!!

This hotel was wonderful. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome, very warm & perfect for families! The hot tub was wonderful to relax after traveling. There was a Green Mill restaurant next door & Dairy Queen & Burger King within walking distance. Down the street is a Target in case you forgot anything. When I booked the hotel on line, it said it was close to the airport. It was a bit of a drive for my friend to drop me off. The shuttle bus took me back to the airport in the morning, so that was fine. It's just not that convenient to the airport. Other than that, it was a very comfortable experience.

Perfect spot right off the interstate, close to downtown, not too far from the Mall, all for one low price... plus a Walgreen's and a Starbucks within a few hundred feet, couldn't ask for more!

Hotel was great. Pool and hot tub were clean. Rooms were very nice. Staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. Good food choices in the area as well for diner.

Breakfast was great - eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, plus, hot cinnamon rolls! Clean and comfortable. An added bonus: Honest staff. I forgot my cell phone when we checked out. Six hours later I realized I left it there. Thankfully, we were still in town. When we returend to the hotel, they had it! Awesome! That said - the pool lacked towels and […] it wasn't busy. I was very pleased with the location of this hotel. We were within minutes of the zoo and mall of america. It is easy to get to and there are lots of food choices nearby and a Target. The breakfast in the morning is awesome with hot food choices plus the typical donuts and cereal choices. It was busy every morning, but they kept everything well stocked. […] The pool was nice and the water was warm. The front desk staff is very helpful and gave great advice on getting to the Metrodome(go to the mall and take the transit). The room was very clean and comfortable. I was really happy with this hotel and will stay here again the next time we are in Minneapolis. Mehr

Our favorite thing about the hotel, other than its location, was the indoor pool was heated. It was very clean, the breakfast was nice, the night we arrived there was free Pizza Hut pizza for all guests. We didn't have to find somewhere to eat after traveling all day. Great.

Good and comfortable room for the price and the fact that we spent very little time - except to sleep in our room.It was clean and the breakfast was adaquate and very convenient.

We thought this location was perfect for our weekend vacation to the Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo, 5 - 10 minutes to each. The hotel was clean and friendly, and had a nice pool and jacuzzi. We were disappointed that the TV did not have RCA ports so the kids could watch a video in the evening (yes, we brought a DVD player). We were also unimpressed […] with the "hot" breakfast. Most continental breakfasts are marginal, this was below that. A box of waxy chocolate Hostess donuts was more appetizing. With the right expectations, this was a good value. Mehr

The staff behind the desk were great. They upgraded my room so that I could be near friends at no increased charge. The breakfast was wonderful , my room was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast better than average. Many good restaurants in vicinity, as well as gas station and movie multiplex. Good proximity and access to Mall of America and airport.

Not sure we would stay here again--there were holes in the sheets and the toilet wobbled when you sat on it! But...the room was clean, the pool was great-our grandkids loved it!- and the breakfast was very good. Seemed like a lot of money considering.
