Sandman Hotel & Suites Kelowna - Kelowna

Das Zimmer war auf der unteren Etage und nur über Treppen erreichbar. Die Koffer mussten also die Treppen hinunter und natürlich für die Abreise wieder heraufgeschleppt werden. Das Fenster des Zimmer war gegen den Atrium-Pool und es blieb einem nicht anderes übrig als während des ganzen Aufenthaltes die Vorhänge geschlossen zu halten.

A bit noisy early in the morning but otherwise good.

Was notr the Room that I was told I would get, in the Tower. I am my Service Dog was place in the Old part of the Building. I did mention it to the Clerk, and was told, because of the Dog, I was not given a Tower Room. She also told me that Hotel.com was a third Party Booker and did not know the Rooms. Carl A

This hotel doesn't have breakfast included like other sandman Hotels .,should management look into this :)

as a regular customer of Sandmand holets I would like to say the older part of sandman in Kelowna is run down and very over priced.The rooms need to be redone. The side entrance hallway was a mess with no sign repair. sorry I give it a 2 out of 10.

The room was not updated. Carpets were very dirty and needed to be replaced. Towels and bed sheets were stained. Not worth the price that I paid.

We found the room to be very small and cramped. When we turned down the sheets, noticed sand all over them. Complained to front desk and they then moved us to another room. This is the second and LAST time we stay at the Sandman. Service is pretty good however the average room is WAY TOO SMALL.

Would prefer that your website had a telephone number so that I could speak to the hotel directly and make bookings directly. Do not appreciate booking with agencies that have never been there. Also, I found it unusual to have to pay for rooms in advance of arrival and departure. Also, air conditioning units are dated, and noisey. We found the room to be very clean and comfortable. I love their king size bed, the aircondition is excellent for the hot weather. Only unsatisfactory aspect of the hotel was the cleanliness of the swimming pool, it is really horrible. They should give time to clean it at least everyday. They have a very friendly hotel staff.

Free WiFi in rooms, great service and very convenient! Denny's attached to hotel, open 24 hours, very convenient!

Price too high for the type of room. Was not aware there was no outside window. Air conditioner very noisy, had to shut it off to sleep. Barking dog in room next door.

The room we stayed in would be coparable with rooms in the far north about 15 years ago. it's time to reno.

The Sandman in Kelowna has well-appointed rooms. We were very comfortable. It was great to be right in front of the mall and in close proximity to other places we wanted to visit and only 8 km from the airport.

Upon check-in Sandman Hotel gave us a printed list of trails and parks that dogs can go. Very dogs friendly! Convenient location - a good spot for us!! We will go again next time we visit Kelowna.

It was fine. We would stay again for a few days. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful.

We were put in the "quieter" business section of the hotel - cool right? No, the room was meant for "the business man", and was tiny, but the bed was very comfortable, and clean, and it WAS quiet. Just cramped. Renovations under way, things are looking spiffy!

We were not treated very good by the front desk, it was not the room we had paid for but for 20 more dollars we could a room with one bed. We asked for a room with a bed and pullout couch,also smoking.we got the room only because i had paid for it online & would not have got my money back..i would never stay there again. Over all the 2 nights that we stayed there were comfortable, and the service was good. The banqyet room was very good and the food was wonderful. I would recommend this location to others.

We paid the extra money to stay in the new 'executive' tower as we weren't optimistic about the old section being nice. The lobby, tower entrance and the room were clean and modernly decorated. Our room was another story, our bathtub was covered in hairs - obviously it had not been cleaned. There was also no drapes in the room so it was really bright […] as soon as the sun came up. Also, it was really loud; we could hear trucks on the highway (even though our room was not facing the highway) and going to the warehouse across the road all night and it got louder in the morning. So not a good room for a light sleeper like me. Regarding location, it's fine if you want the chain restaurants and stores, but it is quite far from the local restaurants that are downtown. We've stayed at other hotels in Kelowna for the same price and had a much better experience. Mehr

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dirty, noisy, what else needs to be said, don't stay at this hotel.

All aspects of the hotel were good with the exception of the air conditioning unit. It was very loud and did not make very much difference to an already hot room.

I had a few suitcases and there were no elevators. Had to carry 1 at a time to my room. Not practical for families carrying multiple suitcases.

upgraded to the suite in the new tower layout similar to a new 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, only thing missing was a stove/oven. This place still smells like a brand new home... I cant remember when ive expeienced a hotel stay like that. minimal hotel staff, but, with a place like this, you want to be left alone. Felt like having an apartment near […] all ammenaties, away from home. Very nice view from the 8th floor, anyways. had a full patio with view, 2 wall mounted lcd's, desk, 2 large round living room sofas, useable as beds, (single size each) and lots of extra towels, bed in a bags, facecloths, etc. This place was sparkling clean, with modern decor, a bit pricey, but worth the money, and if there were to be a deal of any kind, then this hotel should be upgraded in its star rating. at least from my point of view. Desk staff was friendly, helpfull, and professional despite having a lineup of customers. loved it, cant speak for the rest of the hotel, but the tower rocks! Mehr

Comfortable and very handily located on major route in Kelowna. Hot tub open until 10:00 pm provided good realaxation for walked muscles.

Make sure that your room doesn't overlook the pool area as these rooms can be noisy and you can't get any fresh air into your room. Otherwise this is a conveniently located hotel, with a shopping centre right across the street and a 24 hour Dennys in the hotel.

The hotel was wonderful but the service in the restaurant/bar left much to be desird. The bartender was more interested in chatting with her friends than even saying hello to any new customers. I am in the industry and would never ignore someone as this gal did.

Stayed in the atrium because that was the only choice. the carpets were very worn and dirty.. Sand in the hot tub. Rooms are very crowded. The hotel staff was awesome. if i was traveling to the same area again i would spend the extra money and choose another hotel.

The Sandman Hotel staff were all very helpfull and we enjoted the pool area very much. They have a livelly bar wth good prices for the licqure and the food and the service for both were excellent WE both enjoyed are stay and we will be returning very soon. your hotel is in my appinion is a five star hotel.

I stayed at the Sandman on August 26th and found this hotel to be very dirty. The hallways on the main floor were filthy, food and drinks in the hallway and on the stairs. The room I had was in the main hotel; not in the tower. The bathroom sink was not clean and the TV, dresser and light fixtures were covered in dust. The TV remote didn't work and […] there was a handle missing on a dresser drawer. If you chose this hotel, I would recommend requesting a room in the new tower only. Mehr

This is a very nice hotel (a pleasant upgrade from staying in the Sandman in Revelstoke 2 weeks before). Easy to find, right across the street from a mall, close to the center city beach by the big bridge over the lake. Only issue was that our room faced the pool and the air conditioner kicked in continuously all night long. It was 34C outside, I'm […] sure it would have kicked in all night regardless of where we were in the hotel. There was a gap around the air conditioner though and we could, literally, see the pool. That would be our only complaint though. The Denny's had much better service than in Revelstoke as well. Would definitely stay here again. Mehr

If you're a non smoker and wish to stay somewhere you can't smell the stench of cigarettes, this hotel is NOT for you! We stayed in a non smoking room and it smelled as if there was a smoker in the bathroom all night...we hung our swim towels in the bathroom to dry and they smelled of smoke in the morning...the smoke was coming in from the fan in the […] bathroom, and also under the door...it was terrible...the pool also was way too hot, it was like a hot tub. The weather was 35 when we were there, and expected a refreshing dip in the pool, not going to happen, it was like stepping into a hot tub...the housekeeping was also below average. We stayed with 5 of us, and there were only 3 towels, 1 facecloth, and 1 handtowel, and when they restocked the towels they didn't give us any more, and forgot the creamers and sugars for the coffee (we stayed 2 nights), the coffee mugs were not cleaned, or they gave us "clean" ones for the second night, but they were still dirty, so I think they just rinsed them out and put them back, but did a horrible job. The beds were remade for us, but there was a pillow case inside one of the beds, it was just poor quality. We paid for one hour for the kids of the playstation, but the tv was in japanese, and when we called the desk, they said they would change it for us, but never did, so we had to guess at what we were ordering...then we were supposed to get a full hour of playtime for the price we paid, and it only lasted 45 minutes. All little grievances, I know, but added up, they equal a poor quality hotel and services. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends, and I would only give it 2 stars.... Mehr

Our Deluxe Tower room was very nice - very modern, nice decor, very clean. I would stay there again for sure if in the area. Also,the neighbouring steakhouse, Chop, was fantastic.
