It was good rooms big, breakfast was fresh, cocktail hour was ok , for free it was great. All in all a good place to stay.

As always, location played a big role on why I picked it. The rooms was comfortable, breakfast was great.

Great Hotel ................ it's an Embassy, you can't go wrong............

I love staying in any Embassy Suites because of there breakfest and happy hour its all free. An the best part is the pool is indoor! My kids get swim even if its rain outdoor. The rooms are nice as well. You get two TV. Which is great the kids watch what they want in the bedroom and we get to watch what we want on TV in the front room. Beautiful and clean. Staff was very nice. Didnt need to leave the hotel for anything. Very satisfied

Has alot of benefits for a really nice hotel. Great neighborhood, easy to find.. Lot's of restaurants around hotel. They also have a great free breakfast & nice manager specials in the evenings. Kids will luv the pool and the adults the Jacuzzi. Very clean and comfortable and very appealing atmosphere.

There is not adequate parking. If you are out late, you will have to park on the street.

It's a very nice hotel and the cleaning/maintenance/cooking staff is excellent and very friendly. The front desk staff is another case. When I checked in it was busy. There was a line and 3 attendents. Two of them were giving a customer sight seeing information while the third was having technical difficulties. Luckily I was next in line, but that seemed […] very unprofessional to spend that much time on one customer when you have others waiting. The pool was nice but out of control. There was a family playing a water polo type game, taking up the whole pool and the kids were screaming uncontrollably. We had to leave because it was so loud. The bathroom in our suite was ridiculously small; very uncomfortable. I asked for a ground floor when making reservations but was put on the third??? There are charges for local calls......really??? Overall, a nice stay. The breakfast and happy hours are great. Breakfast on Saturdays is a half hour later than during the week. That needs to be posted because apparently only the cook staff knew. The two rooms were very sufficient to our needs, our kids can play and watch tv in one room and the parents can spend quality time together, the free liquor drinks were great, cant ask for any more.

Great place to stay. Staff is very friendly, rooms very clean, and made to order ommlet can not be beat. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was fine until the next morning we were walking back up to the room from taking our dogs out to go pee, and the manager walked up to us and informed us that they didn't allow dogs at there hotel! He was very rude! We were in shocked because when we checked in the night before we walked through the front door with our two labs. I was hesitant when I read some of the previous comments, but all I can say now after staying there was that my family and I were all extremely please With this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, property was clean, although somewhat outdated but clean is what matters most to us. Great location, 15 minutes to the beach. We have meetings at hotels and we decided to do one out in the "lobby" area where the couchs are, and a hotel manager came uo to us and said is any one staying here? I said I was then he said well what are you selling? I said nothing this is for training. Then he walked away. I also was called away from my class for a gentalman to come tell me they […] have room we could have booked, and i told him they did not want to help me with pricing and he told me HE would. After reading the other reviews, I was concerned, but we had a great stay. I particularly booked this hotel because of the seperate living quarters. I was traveling with my three daughters (ages 6, 14 and 15), and we needed the space - but the door to seperate the rooms from the living area was convenient since the teens stay up late. Pros: * Seperate […] living area from sleeping quarters, seperated by a door * Spacious living area * Large two-person desk to accommodate multiple computer users * Free wifi (received a code from the front desk - you may have to be a Hilton Honors member, but why not - it's free!) * Indoor pool * Microwave / Sink/ Mini Fridge * Free breakfast every morning - pastries, cereals, eggs/bacon, juice, coffee, and made to order omelets * Comfortable lobby, and encouraged to use the lobby as well * Indoor bar and food area in lobby * Clean rooms * Great coffee and tea, replenished with disposable coffee cups and sleeves * Friendly staff * Great housekeeping staff, easy to get extra towels, blankets, etc. * Location was close to two malls, just a drive down Padre Island to the beaches, very close to major shopping and restaurants. This was a really nice hotel. We went for spring break and the kids loved every minute of it. Indoor pool, and a wonderful breakfast. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

The breakfast was excellent & so was the service! Everyone was friendly & helpful. Our only complaint was that the elevator closest to our room was broke for 3 days. But there were other elevators to use. The hotel was beautiful inside & very clean.

We left the room at 9:00am and returned after 5:00 pm, and the room was not made up. We were tired, but had to leave the room for a half hour for this. The cleaning person told us ours was not done because others were higher priority. The back door was broken and the key card did not work. It just pushed open. We stayed in this hotel about 20 years […] ago and it was in better condition then. On a positive note, the breakfast staff and bartender for cocktail hour were kind and very gracious. Mehr

The comp happy hour and full breakfast was the only perk. Although staff was ok friendly and rooms ok clean. It was the old decor, wet musty carpet and small bathroom that turned me off. I guess I expected way more. They sold my original room while I was standing in front of them at a 5pm check in. It was blah, will shop around next time. The hotel is amazing. I can't wait to visit again. The room was very cozzy. there were two tv's one in the front room with a sofa bed and the other in the room with a door blocking both rooms for some nice privatcy. the breakfast was great. pool was super cool. If you want to impress someone this is the hotel to take them.

The hotel was clean, but in desperate need of renovation. The staff was friendly and helpful. My biggest complaints were that while we were having breakfast in the courtyard the ceiling was leaking. They have a good breakfast. And it has indoor pool with a hot tub nice.

Everything was good except for the fact that my AC didn't work and of course all rooms were booked so I couldnt get another room, which made for a long night in the heat. The front desk gave me a little 8 inch fan, and said that was all he could do at the time. He said they could give me a complementary night which I havent heard anything about as to […] this point. The hotel was good, but the smell of chlorine as soon as you walk in was not what I would expect from this hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good as was the service. All the staff was very courteous and nice. I would recommend this hotel.

It's stinky and old. Not worth the money at all. I've stayed at other Embassy Suites before and this one is an embarassment to the chain. The breakfast was not good, neither was the managers reception. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP & CRAPPY!!

My husband and I loved our stay at Embassy Suites, we had met up at the bar for happy hour. Went to eat dinner and stop at a local bar right around the corner. The next morning complementary breakfast it was great service, great food! All this is worth the amount of our stay! Totally will stay there again!

The hotel was nice and right off the freeway. I needed a foam pillow but they were out so I had to make use of what I had. Strike one. Then I was trying to get ready for a funeral and there was no hot water at all. Nothing coming out of the faucet. Strike two. So we missed breakfast waiting on maintenence to fix the problem.Though we were comped breakfast […] from the kitchen, the order was not correct and we didnt have time to fix it. Strike three. The hotel is very good looking but the rooms needs a bit of remodeling. Especially the restroom... the wall and ceiling are falling apart. Over all the service was great! House cleaning needs to step up a bit and at least put trash bags on the trash cans?
