Geräumiges Zimmer, ausgezeichnete Ausgangslage für Shopping im Harrods, unmittelbare Nähe zu diversen Mussen; nächste "Tube"-Station nur 5 Minuten entfernt, aber auch ausgedehnte Spaziergänge durch Knightsbride und Chelsea lohnen sich. Schönes Haus mit Stil mit gut augestatteten Zimmern. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf das Victoria and Albert Museum und belebte Straße (Platanengesäumt!) war trotzdem sehr ruhig. Gute Anbindung an's öffentliche Verkehrsnetz (Underground, Bus).

Für ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel könnte der Gesamtzustand, Komfort und das Frühstücksbuffet zwar noch etwas besser sein, insbesondere bei dem doch nicht gerade kleinem Zimmerpreis, aber insgesamt handelt es sich um ein solides, sehr sauberes Hotel mit recht feundlichem Personal in perfekter und angenehmer Lage (nahe Underground, direkt ggü. einigen Museen, […] nähe Hyde-Park, etc.). Das Hotel Rembrandt liegt ideal zu den Ubahn Stationen. Und in näherer Umgebung gibt es gute Einkauf- und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Auch einige Museen liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Dies ist ein schönes Stadthotel im Herzen Londons. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und bieten genug Platz. Besonders gut hat uns die zentrale Lage in London gefallen.

Die Lages des Hotels zwischen zwei wichtigen U-Bahn Stationen und nah bei Harrods ist ideal für Shopping. Alle grossen Museen liegen sehr nahe, ebenso der Hyde-Park. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Auschecken bei Rushhour braucht jedoch reichlich Geduld.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, das Frühstückbuffet ist für englische Verhältnisse wirklich ganz toll. Die Lage ist top, tube-station in der Nähe (5 Min.) und Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Was wir sehr schätzen ist , dass man auch einiges zu Fuss vom Hotel aus erreichen kann. Wir waren schon zum zweitenmal im Rembrandt und würden wieder dorthin  […] gehen. Mehr

Das Hotel Rembrandt liegt in einem vornehmeren Quartier und die U-Bahnstation South Kensington ist problemlos in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und grosszügig vom Platz her. Das Personal an der Reception war freundlich, an der Bar und beim Anweisen des Platzes beim Frühstück etwas unbeholfen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ein Traum! Es […] gab alles was das Herz begehrt. Dass das nebenanliegende Schwimmbad relativ klein ist und nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist, müsste besser deklariert werden. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte für uns. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, an der Rezeption sprachman sogar deutsch. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber, es fehlte an nichts. Der Frühstücksbüffet ist riesig und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Ich kann das Rembrandt uneingeschränkt empfehlen. In nur 3-4 Gehminuten erreicht man die nächste U-Bahn-Station (Kunsington South) die Museums-Strasse mit Science […] Museum und vielen mehr. Das Kaufhaus Harrods erreicht man zu Fuss inner 10 Minuten, es liegt an der gleichen Strasse wie das Hotel Rembrandt. Mehr

Overall very good, but wating in line for breakfast is a drawback.

Very good hotel in excellent location. Across the street from the Victoria and Albert and other museums and short walk to tubes. Nice neighborhood. Professional friendly staff. Very good onsite restaurant with great breakfast buffet. It's been 10 years since we last were in London ... We found the rembrant well placed near tube, museums ,Harrods, even the tour bus at our door .. We will diffently b usin the rembrant for our next stay ...

I paid for 2 nights here, the room was on the 1st floor and was in dire need of renovation. Overall the hotel is quite nice but he 1st floor - don't stay there. The rooms are old, paint chipping squeaky floors. Bed are good though. I did need to extend my stay at the full price but for that I got move to the new renovated 4th floor, such a difference. […] I'm guessing the keep the older rooms for companies such as Hotels.com. The location of the hotel is perfect for getting around London. Staff are friendly and made the stay worthwhile. Mehr

Not cheap, but good service and location.

What a great experience! You could never find a better location than the Rebrandt. The South Kensington Tube stop is only 2 short blocks away. Three different Underground lines go through here, so getting around London is a snap. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked the cheapest room, and it was small but very comfortable. The bathroom […] was very big and luxurious (even had a great whirlpool tub.) I saw a few other rooms when they were being cleaned, and they were much bigger (and I am sure more pricey). The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was quiet despite it's central location. There are only two negatives about this hotel. 1) The breakfest that is included is the same every day (but it is a large buffet with lots of options). 2) The cleaning staff woke us up every morning around 8:30am, eventhough we had the "Do not disturb" sign on. They couldn't have been nicer about it, but it did cause us to get up much earlier than we planned. Overall, this hotel is a great find, especially for the price! Mehr

This hotel suited us perfectly. It has a wonderful location amongst many of the major museums, is close to the South Kensington Underground station, to the shops of Knightsbridge, the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. The hotel is in a great location, two blocks from the Underground and bus stops and right across the street from the Victoria and Albert and Natural History Museums. Not to mention just down the road from Harrods! Our room was a nice size, very comfortable, and the renovation seemed to be recent. It was in the back of the hotel and very quiet. Great […] breakfast too! We were able to buy tickets for many attractions through the concierge and thereby avoided waiting on line. We were charged the regular price for the tickets, no premium added. Next time I go to London I would definitely stay here again. Mehr

From the moment we arrived at the Rembrandt, we found the staff to be courteous and helpful. Check-in was quick, efficient and hassle-free. The ambience of the front of house was very pleasant and welcoming. We were handed the keys to our double room and took the lift to the 2nd floor. Our room was of a good size and very tastefully decorated. There […] was a flat screen TV, mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities plus iron, hair dryer and more. The king sized bed was very comfortable, made up with crisp white linen. The bathroom was quite spacious and the shower hot and very powerful. There were soft white bath robes provided for our comfort. Breakfast next morning was provided in the grand dining room, with a huge choice of fayre hot and cold. Tea and coffe were swiftly brought to the table whilst we helped ourselves to the ample buffet. All-in-all a very pleasant stay at this hotel, which is also very well situated for getting around London being only a 5 minute stroll from South Kensington Tube Station and directly across the road from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Great Hotel. Great location. Friendly staff, very helpful, except for one breakfast manager on one morning who was very officious! Rooms comfortable but bed very hard, had terrible backache each morning. Only incident was that the Jacuzzi bath went off while we were asleep and frightened the wits out of us but staff member arrived promptly and switched […] it off permanently, I think this happened because cleaning staff had left the rolled up rubber bathmat balanced on the on/off switch. Our room was spacious, clean, very well appointed with everything needed including terry cloth bath robes. The lobby, lounge, and restuarant areas were large and spacious, particularly for London. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location is only a few blocks from Harrods across from Victoria and Albert Museum and […] although facing a busy street most rooms are off street and quiet. My girlfriend and I spent valentines day and the following day in London. I wanted a nice hotel, with a decent price, and after a lot of comparing, decided to stay at The Rembrandt. I genuinely think the vast majority of pictures do not do the hotel justice, it is much nicer than many images I'd seen beforehand. Our room was fantastic, the service we […] were given was surprisingly helpful, friendly and approachable and in general the experience was a very, very positive one. Superb location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Easy access to museums, Harrods and a Tube station is just two blocks away. Neighbourhood is surrounded by good and fairly priced restaurant. Good value for the money.

Quiet location close to Hyde park, convenient for tube station to get to theatres and shops. Nice selection of restaurants in vicinity.

Stayed in this hotel for the second time whilst down at a hospital for treatment, the hotel is in a great location everything you need at your doorstep, hotel staff could not do enough for you, we were upgraded to a club room which was a nice touch, i will be returning in the new few fews.

This is my fiancée and I's third time visiting the Rembrant. Fantastic hotel, so comfortable, quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in London. Pay attention on the sport facilities. The hotel website is misleading they have an agreement with a local gym but one has to pay 20£ to be able to go there (against 15£ for somebody who's not at the hotel)! Room was not ready when I arrived 12H30. Hotel is clean & quiet, internet works well. Good location (just on front of the V&A).

Our room was on the 5th floor and although not overly large was big enough for us with a view of the V&A. Excellent location. Breakfast was good and staff very helpfull

Excellent Hotel, very comfortable room, great breakfast with very attenive staff. /Excellent location so near to wonderful attractions, like the V+A just across the road and Natural History Museum and Science Museum around the corner. I look forward to returning soon to this hotel.

We have stayed at the Rembrandt several times and have always enjoyed it. The staff are helpful, they changed our room as it was too noisy and offered an upgrade when the second room proved to be quite cold. I also left my mobile phone charger there and they posted it to me within 2 days and I was only asked to pay for the postage. Overall a very nice […] hotel which I would certainly recommend. Mehr

Stayed at the Rembrandt on 25th Jan 2012 as a surprise for my mothers birthday. Firstly, the location was perfect, opposite V&A, a short walk from Harrods & on a lovely road with some beautiful patisseries & retail stores. We arrived via South Kensington tube which was further away than anticipated because we were directed via the V&A, so a long underground […] walk, although was pleasant enough. Checked in at 10.30am although room wasnt ready, so left baggage with concierge safely in private storage area. Returned later to collect luggage & room key. We were in room 172 on the first floor & I was disappointed to find that despite a special request, there was no acknowledgement of my mothers birthday, which other hotels have accommodated in the past with a bowl of fruit or card or cake. The room was at the back of hotel, & was therefore quiet, but it was one of the older twin rooms. I was slightly disappointed by the bathroom as there was a mark on my flannel, a small stain on the floor mat, and the tiling and decor were tired. Another niggle was no plug by the kettle, which we had to move from the tray to another location. However, beds were very comfy, tv very modern & easy to use, and the room overall was a decent size. Breakfast was gorgeous the next day, and checkout easy. Overall I was impressed with the service and breakfast, and location couldnt have been better (in future come via Harrods tube stop!), but the room could do with updating. Mehr

I had flown in from New York and was meeting my wife at the hotel. They allowed us to check in early (11.00) and could not have been more helpful. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and the best hotel breakfast I have had in years. Convenient location close to South Kensington tube. We would certainly choose this hotel again.

...which obviously we didn't but it would have been nice to have room for two of us to get dressed at the same time, as opposed to one person having to lie on the bed to allow the other floor space. Reception service was dire. It's a bad sign when on checking on the receptionist stops processing your booking several times to answer the phone. A similar […] experience for what should have been a very straight forward check out given the room had been paid for in advance. We had to queue for about fifteen minutes for breakfast do go early if you're in a rush. Only real plus point was its great location on one of London's finest neighbourhoods. We ate Londoners who stayed here for a night away from the children and a chance to Christmas shop easily the next day, and our regular festive treat was a let down due to the pokey room and poor service. Comfortable hotel, in a great position with a most helpful and knowledgeable concierge.

This isn't a 4 star hotel. It's ok, but a 3 star. Not friendly service staff. Convenient location. We're here in the UK 3 weeks, the least good hotel of all. Wouldn't stay there again.

Excellent hotel, would deffenetly stay here again. Room was a good size, and inclusive breakfasts are worth it - excellent selection. Perfect location - very central Only downside was the bar service - took forever to get a drink!

We have stayed at this hotel in many occasions and must say it is a joy to go back to.The staff are friendly but professional,the breakfast,brilliant! On our last stay we went 2 stops in the tube to Earls court next day 2 stops to Picadilly circus to a show,Great location!

The Rembrandt Hotel is in a great location. The restaurants, shopping and access to the Underground train are all within short walking distance. The hotel is well appointed and the staff is very helpful.

We were very pleased with our recent stay at the Rembrandt. We chose the Rembrandt due to its great location near to where friends live as well as local shopping and museums. Great value considering its location. Room + breakfast was very appreciated. The room was small and only complaint was the "tightness" of the bed vis-a-vis the nightstands.
