Empfehlenswertes Hotel für den Boston-Aufenthalt. Sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück (leider wie allzuoft in einem viel zu kleinen Raum für so viele Gäste). Getränke im Hotel relativ günstig (Flasche Cola kostet 1,50$). Lage neben einem Expressway (haben wir aber nicht als störend empfunden; gute Fenster). In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es ein Einkaufszentrum. Fittnesraum "übersichtlich" aber ganz ok.

"Stadthotel für Boston Tour"
Das Hotel hat eine ideale Lage um Boston zu Fuß zu erkunden, die nächste Metro Station (Copley Place) ist nur 1 min entfernt. Ans Hotel grenzt ein großes Einkaufszentrum (Prudential Center). Ausstattung ist typischer Stil der Jahrhundertwende, aber sehr gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind groß, unser Badezimmer war jedoch relativ klein, aber ausreichend. Zum […] Faneuil Market läuft man ca. 20 min über belebte Strassen und durch 2 auch abends beleuchtete Parks. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Direkt ans Hotel angeschlossen ist ein Restaurant (relativ teuer) und ein Pub. Wir haben uns im Lenox sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Mehr
"Hotel mit hochwertiger Ausstattung in guter Lage"
Wir waren im September 2011 4 Tage im Lenox in Boston, ausgesprochen freundliches Personal und eine tolle Zimmerausstattung. Ausreichend Platz im Zimmer (trotz zwei großen Doppelbetten) und auch endlich mal richtig Platz in den Schränken und Kommoden. Dazu gab es jeden Tag 2 Flaschen Wasser ohne Berechnung im Zimmer und Tee und Kaffe in der Lobby. Im […] Hotelrestaurant wird richtig gutes Essen, auch für europäische Gaumen, angeboten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen und nach Harvard und zu einem großen Sandstrand am Meer kommt man schnell mit der U-Bahn. "Topp Lage für Cityreise/Shopping"
Sauber, sehr gutes Personal... Wie in USA gewohnt: etwas laute Klimaanlage/Heizung (also: auch im Winter). Dafür einigermaßen schnelles WLAN inkl.

We were really happy with this well located hotel in Boston. Not so big as many other 5 star hotels. Very personal. Our junior suite on 10th floor was spacious with all comfort. May be the bath was a little bit old. Service was more than excellent. Just a minute from lovely Newbury Street and many other interesting places. We walked a lot in Boston. "gerne wieder"
Wir waren fünf Nächte im Lenox und haben es nicht bereut. Die Lage ist toll, das Hotel in einem guten Zustand und das Personal freundlich. Das Zimmer war vielleicht ein wenig dunkel aber das störte nicht weiter, da man sich tagsüber eh in der Stadt aufhält. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt hier sehr gut! Weiter so und gerne wieder.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Ausgangslage, man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen. Zwei Straßen weiter liegen viele kleine Geschäfte und Gaststätten. Eine Mall liegt direkt hinter dem Lenox und auch ein guter Supermarkt ist um die Ecke gelegen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel mit in allen Bereichen freundlichem und sehr hilfsbereitem Personal im belebten Quartier Back Bay. "Great Boutique Hotel - Fab Location"
I just returned from a fabulous three (3) night stay at The Lenox Hotel (Mar.28-31). I took the lead on booking our hotel stay and chose this hotel after reading numerous positive reviews on various sites - I was not disappointed. Check In: I had booked two "Classic Queen" rooms and requested that they be on the same floor. We arrived about an hour […] and a half early and were accommodated for check-in immediately. However, one of the two rooms was not yet available, but rather than asking us to wait, we were provided with an upgraded room on the same floor. This is always a crowd-pleaser! Rooms: I found the beds incredibly comfortable. The rooms were very clean, and came with a mini-fridge (stocked with free water). The upgraded room we received was quite spacious while the "Classic Queen" was fairly cozy (read: small but not cramped, with the exception of the bathroom which was very tiny!). The hotel also had a list of items available for request - i.e. candy/treats; meds (nominal fee of $0.25); toiletries or other items people may have forgotten to pack (i.e. nail file, clean nail polish, playing cards, loufah, etc). Customer Service: From check-in to check-out, we felt like welcomed guests and appreciated the genuine service from all hotel staff. Justin at concierge was particularly helpful to our group, and we appreciated his service. Food: We didn't order any room service but there was coffee & tea out in the mornings in the lobby; as well as a large bowl of bananas at the front-desk. Location: This was my second time in Boston so I knew I wanted to stay in Back Bay. The hotel is easily in walking distance to many great attractions. For perspective, it took us about 35-40 minutes to walk home from TD North Garden one night - and that was at a very leisurely pace...and without cutting through the park. "The Lennox in Boston"
We stayed there for my daughters 20th birthday. The staff even went out of the way to send fancy cupcakes up to our room when they found out it was her birthday.; The only complain was the junior suite that I booked was a little small as I thought I was getting a 2 room suite. I would definitely stay there again.

"Excellent hotel in fantastic location"
I spent four nights at The Lenox on a girls shopping trip from Ireland. Only 15 mins by car from the airport. Close to Copley Place, Prudential Centre and Newbury Street. Plenty of restaurants close to the hotel but food in The Lenox is really nice. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would definately return to this hotel […] on my next trip to Boston Mehr

The most helpful staff I've ever encountered! From the front desk, the resturant staff, the doormen, to the housekeeping folks -- EVERYONE was very nice. Hotel clean and in great location to shopping, resturants, etc -- could walk to a lot of major spots. Next time I visit Boston, this is where I'll stay!

If you like comfort, big rooms, smiles of the personnel - this is the place for you to stay. The room was large and clean. Everything in the room was hi-end quality. For example the office chair behind the desk in the room was the Herman Miller chair (hi end and expensive). The room was cleaned at least 3 times a day. The hotel was great, the staff very helpful. My only criticism concerns the lack of heating in the bathroom. The weather was very cold while I was in Boston and not having any heating in the bathroom was more than uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great stay!

The Lenox is a wondeful hotel, with a sumptuous lobby, great restaurants, and a prime location. It's easy to get anywhere in Boston from the hotel, and access to Back Bay, the South End, Fenway, Cambirdge, and downtown is very convenient. The staff of the Lenox is fantastic--really friendly, helpful, and kind, from the front desk staff and concierge […] to the valets and housekeeping. My only complaint is that the room felt a little stuffy and out-of-date; the Lenox isn't a trendy or modern place and the room decor could have used an update. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is close to shopping and restaurants. The concierge hooked us up with a great dinner location just minutes after we arrived early evening. A great spot!

You could not beat the location of this hotel, in the center of Back bay Boston, close to the best shopping and great restaurants. A classic style hotel with a fireplace in the lobby, most welcome in mid January. And a staff that was always charming and super efficient.

The Lenox continues to provide a great location for a comfortable and convenient stay in Boston's Back Bay. The staff is always courteous and helpful, the rooms are clean and well kept, and the Lenox is within walking distance of many fine restaurants. We recently stayed for two nights in the Lennox while visiting our friends in Boston. In the first instance, the proximity of the hotel to both the Orange and Green line T stations, was fantastic and made travelling around the city very simple and hassle free. The location of the Lennox to the Prudential Centre was great for shopping, and the great […] array of good restaurants and bars closeby meant that we didn't have to venture very far at night to get a bite to eat. We live in WA State and booked this room for my son and daughter-in-law for a weekend getaway. We have never been to the Lenox so it was a gamble we hoped they would enjoy. They absolutely raved about every aspect of their stay at the Lenox. They said we absolutely have to stay there when we come to Boston for a visit.

The Lenox was great! I had a conference at another hotel and the Lenox was $100 cheaper. The service was fantastic, the restaurants were fairly priced for the area. Gave free coffee, free bottled water. So great!

Stayed in this hotel in December and found the whole experience lovely. The staff at reception were very friendly and were a great source of information. The complimentary bananas, cookies and hot chocolate were a nice touch. The room was cosy but spacious and very comfortable. The aveda products were most welcome and there was a generous size fridge […] as well. I booked The Lenox primarily because of the location. Arriving on Christmas morning my main goal was to be very close to my boyfriend's mother's apartment. The Lenox was just down the street. I also liked the look of an old charming Boston Hotel. I was able to book the hotel in advance for a reduced price because I payed in full. I arrived at 7am hoping […] for an early check in that I had requested so I could sleep a few hours before the Christmas festivities. As soon as I arrived they gladly checked me in early. The lobby looks as though it had recently been renovated and was beautifully decorated for the Holiday. The room was not large, but nice and clean with a kind size bed and large flat screen. It also looks like it had been recently renovated. After I woke up from my nap, I was pleasantly surprise that they had provided breakfast for Christmas morning in the lobby. We arrived on the redeye and decided to take the T from Logan as we were not loaded down with luggage. The hotel is easily accessible from the Copley T station. The hotel had a room available at 7:30am so they let us check in very early which was much appreciated. Service and staff are excellent. The location is perfect - right in the middle of all […] you want to do in Boston. If it's cold or raining, you are a quick quarter block into Lord & Taylor's and the Prudential Center maze connections. Mehr

We had a fantastic stay at The Lenox Hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was a decent size and kept very clean. It is also in a great location, two blocks from Newbury Street and on the same block as The Prudential Center.

"The Lenox Hotel- the must stay place."
Just a great place. All staff were really enthused and attentive. Stayed around Xmas time and all day complimentary coffee in the Lobby was a nice touch. Reception area was lovely at Xmas, a nice feel to it. Would really recommend if staying in Boston.

"The Lenox in Back Bay, Boston - central"
My party of four ladies stayed here for 5 nights in December and can honestly say we have never received such five star treatment anywhere. The concierge and staff everywhere in the hotel were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them. Nice touches like home-made cookies and fruit on the reception desk to help yourself to just make you feel […] pampered. Felt the Irish Bar wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, so stick to the City Bar instead. Mehr
