The Capitol Hotel Tokyu - Tokio

This hotel is pretty much as good as it gets. Lovely rooms, great staff, convenient location. 2 lines of the metro are steps away from the hotel lobby, in the basement. If you stay on the side that faces the Diet building you get an amazing view of the rising sun every morning. And it IS red! Who knew? The hotel is located in Akasaka, which is a buisinessy […] type district. It's not super crazy like Shibuya but it's full of bars and ramen places and we loved eating there every night after a full day of walking around Tokyo. It's fairly Gaijin friendly as well; we only had one experience where we had trouble ordering, and that was on Sunday evening when the only places that were open seemed to be Korean. My only complaint is very petty: instant coffee. The room provides an electric kettle and tea...and instant coffee. Other than that, this was an incredible hotel and we got a great deal on hotels.com! Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay at the Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The hotel is very modern and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great relaxing stay. The size of the room was very generous compared to other Tokyo hotels we've stayed in. Free wifi and use of the swimming pool was a plus (although there were some strict rules - no bikinis, no eating […] near the pool, swimming cap had to be worn, etc). Good location with direct access to four subway lines (although two require a bit of walk). Would definitely recommend. Mehr

The Capitol Hotel was the nicest hotel we stayed at over the course of our two week trip to Japan. The room was spacious, well furnished, nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Our room had large windows and pleasant city view. There is a metro station immediately beside the hotel.

Modern, new facility with superb views (highly recommend corner twin with bath view!). Service was excellent - opted for in-room shiatsu treatment - great value for the money!

Great, clean and spacious room. The satff are all very helpful and with good manner. The only downside is its location. Although it is located right above a subway station with four different lines goning across, it takes a lot of walk to get to the two most used lines.

top 2 hotels of my life - they gave us a top floor huge room with great views. love the glass shower where you can wash up and look at the city views at the same time. service was outstanding - they went above and beyond when planning our reservations at restaurants and what not. wonderful experience - we will be back!

Had a lovely stay last week. The staff were fantastic without being remotely intrusive. The little things had all been thought of in the room. I had the pool and jacuzzi all to myself one morning and it was just lovely.

Fantastic room and view over Tokyo, including view from the bathroom which was wonderful. Very helpful service. Only complaint would be the breakfast, no buffet. small portions and over priced especially if travelling with children. Saying that, on the 2nd day we discovered that there was a great breakfast / coffee place connected to the basement floor. […] Very reasonably priced so would recommend that. Mehr

Very nice hotel in a quiet area near the government offices. Very convenient with 4 subway lines directly under the station. However, no shopping or anything of tourist interests in the immediate area, so prepare to walk or take the subway if you are there for a holiday. Rooms and service all around excellent. F&B outlets at the hotel are very expensive but many affordable eating outlets in the basement and vicinity. Only complaint was the inflexibility on check-out time. Yes I am aware check-out time is at 12 noon. Best they said they could do is 1 pm. gorgeous new hotel with some of the best service in tokyo---IF you upgrade to the club floor. worth every penny to upgrade since it includes free internet (ala carte $25/day), free gym/pool/spa/sauna ($35/day), free breakfast ($30/day) and private concierge services (priceless). the rooms are beautifully designed blend of east meets west, very luxurious […] and comfortable. the gym and pool are impeccably maintained (but they do have prohibitions on those with tattoo in the bathing areas). hotel sits in a pretty quiet area of tokyo, being surrounded by government buildings and the parliament. this means that there is not much life on the streets after dark, so you will have to travel to get to dinners/attractions. 4 subway lines converge under the hotel, which makes it fairly convenient for getting around town. caveat: if you are flying in and out of haneda, where flights all are late night, you will arrive at hotel about midnight. no food options will be available to you in this neighborhood, and the limo bus shuttles to hotel from airport do not run as late or as conveniently timed as from narita airport. i would stay elsewhere upon arrival in tokyo, and save this for your departure hotel. I honestly cannot think of anything to be critical about - Capitol Hotel Tokyu is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Service is top notch, the rooms are enormous by Tokyo standards, location is excellent, with 3 major subway lines at the basement. OK, the restaurants are a bit expensive, but you have a huge range of more affordable options just […] a short walk from the hotel. Will make this my de facto hotel in Tokyo. Mehr

Very pleased with the choice we've made. Hotel rooms are big with a superb view on Tokyo skyline, staff is really helpful and nice.

Wonderful service, beautiful room and excellent view! Perfect if it is near a JR station.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very quiet, excellent service, very nice room layout with sliding doors, impeccable bath/shower, and good view of the city (from the 24th floor at least). A temple nearby as well as great food choices across Sotobori dori in Akasaka (less than 10 min walk from the front door). Direct access from the Ginza line; […] other lines are a bit of a walk, but still all inside the subway. The only hotel I can think of that was better is Peninsula Hotel, but its more than double the price, and its location isn't as good. Mehr

Good service and very spacious and clean room. The hotel is located in rather quite neighborhood, but everything is in short cab ride. This newly renovated hotel is well designed with Japanese traditional inspiration in contemporary style.

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in terms of service and accommodation. The hotel itself is very clean and neat, the rooms are spacious by Japanese standards. It is located very conveniently with several subway stations within 5 minutes walk (including one at the basement of the hotel itself). 3回目の利用です。 ホテルズドットコムさんのキャンペーンで 大変、お安く宿泊させていただきましたが 今回はザ・キャピトルホテル東急さんの方で 部屋を最上階に用意していただけて嬉しかったです。 2日間の利用だったのですが 外出の間にお掃除が終了してくださっていて それが素晴らしく整然と清潔に整えて頂いてました。 また、利用しようと思っています。

Et utrolig flott hotell, der men kommer seg til Metroen uten å måtte gå ut. Området rundt er for så vidt også fin-fint, men Tokyo er stort, så man er avhengig av bane eller taxi Bassenget og boblebadet var stort og flott, og treningsrommet var godt utstyrt, og nok med vannflasker inkludert. Cafe, bakeri-utsalg og Starbucks i kjelleren.

Oikein elegantti hotelli. Ei välttämättä lapsiperheen ykkösvalinta, mutta aikuisten kesken todella hyvä.

五星飯店的基本條件就不多說了，美麗的窗景，便利的交通（銀座線，丸之內線，千代田線，東西線交錯點），優秀的服務人員（多位精通英，中文的服務生），且此次的訂房優惠中，除價格便宜外，也包含了免費的網路，酒店還可以提供免費的無線路由器，以一般日本高級酒店來說，顛覆了住宿以人數計費及網路要收費等常規，絕對值得推薦！

7일간 도쿄 여행을 하고 돌아 왔습니다. 원래 마지막날 숙박은 도쿄에 한 료칸에서 지낼 예정이었으나 생각보다 체력이 지치고 힘들어서 여행중 숙박을 변경하였습니다. hotels.com 싸이트에 들어와서 우연히 예약한 the capital hotel tokyo. 평소 체인지라는 일본드라마를 많이 좋아했기에 관심이 많았던 일본 국회의사당과 총리집근처여서 너무 좋았고, 시설 및 서비스 때문에 다시한번 행복했습니다... 호텔에만 있었기 때문에 주변 시설이 어떤지 잘 모르겠지만...지하철과 연계성, 공항까지 연계성 모두 좋아서 여행에 지쳤던 저로써 마지막 숙박으로써 최고였습니다...

夫婦と２歳の息子で宿泊しました。事前にチェックイン時間より早く入らせてほしいとお願いしたところとても丁寧に対応してくださいました。ドアを開けて入ると自然にわぁっと言っていました。すっきりとした和モダンの部屋で広く快適で、幼児にとっても安全な部屋で（角のある家具がなかった）窓が大きく目の前には国会議事堂や首相官邸があり息子もなぜか興奮していました。家族連れも何組かすれ違いました。スタッフの皆さんもとても親切でまた泊まりたいと思います。何より新しいので無駄がありません。

Além de tudo ser excelente, gostaria de reforçar que estava em Tokyo exatamente durante a semana do maior terremoto da história daquele país e a qualidade do serviço prestado e atenção permaneceram intactas. Uma maravilha !

今回初の滞在で、３泊しました。わりと手ごろな値段でしたが、部屋は広く。清潔で、部屋からの眺めもかなりよく快適でした。風呂場や備品などは、かなり良質だと思います。特に気になる問題もありませんでした。
