The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel - Boston

Wir hatten zu zweit ein Zimmer mit Queensize Bett aber es gab nur einen Stuhl im Zimmer und insgesamt sieben Kleiderbuegel sowie genau zwanzig cm Haengestange fuer lange Kleidung wie Hosen und keinen einzigen Haken etwas fuer Mantel, Jacke, Nachthemd Meinen grossen Koffer liess ich gleich unausgepackt es gab fuer den Inhalt keinen Platz Auch im Bad […] keine einzige Ablageflaeche Das schmaelert das PreisLeistungsverhaeltnis doch sehr Eigentlich liesse sich die Ausstattung mit wenigen Handgriffen so verbessern dass man sich in dem Zimmer auch bei Regen aufhalten moechte und koennte denn ansonsten hat das Hotel mehr Flair als anonyme moderne Kaesten und ist exzellent gelegen Das Personal ist sehr freundlich Mehr

Speziell in der Advents-/Vorweihnachtszeit sehr prunkvoll geschmückt. Wir haben uns im Copley Plaza in jeder Beziehung sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein Aufenthalt ist sehr lohnenswert.

Room was awful..even though we are President's Club. No sink space AT ALL. Toilet was one you flush with your foot. Step up tiny bathroom with cafe like doors right off bedroom.

The lobby is fabulous. The rooms we were given..not good. No Wi Fi in our room (and we are even President's club). Looked at equipment. When we moved we had WiFi and a view of the street but the bathroom was smaller than one on a tiny ship. No counter space at all and toilet you had to flush with your foot.

Delightful grand hotel recalling the splendours of the golden age of travelling. Great attentive staff. Comfortable spacious rooms. Good public rooms and bars and all the facilities you could want. Conveniently located and only 20 minutes by cab from Logan. Terrific value.

The room was very nice and the staff, very accommodating. They provided two cribs for our little ones which was greatly appreciated.

1 night getaway right in the middle of Boston. Walking distance to many sights. Clean room. Service excellent. Although rooms are small(hotel is older but beautifully classic) we found it to be elegant and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a very good time at the hotel. We appreciate the process of restoring the turn of the century grandeur of the hotel, a work in progress. The service was excellent. The hotel was in full holiday decoration with top notch service from the staff. Our room was spotless clean with cozy bath robes ready for use. Copley Plaza has the shops on Newbury nearby along with great restaurants, including the Oak Room at the Fairmont. The historicTrinity Church and the Boston Library are literally across the street. Fab location right in Copley Square - convenient for sights, shopping, getting around. Pleasant staff. A bit inconvenient because there's only one restaurant in the hotel - but fortunately it's well located so there are plenty of good eating places nearby. We were there in December and while it was cold outside, the room was almost unbearably hot, even […] in our summer clothes! We couldn't regulate the temperature in our room and even when we turned the heat off it was hot! The reception said to open the window a crack but the latch was stuck. They sent an engineer up for the heat but with no result. But i'd still rate the hotel highly for prettiness, location, and service. Mehr

after checking in, had to go back to the registration desk twice, room key nonworking, finally got shifted to another room otherwise had a enjoyable stay

This is a great hotel in Boston. I stayed here because of the location and I love older hotels. It was a good value. My room was small, but I dont mind since it was comfortable and I spent little time in it given the location.

The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bartenders in Oak room was hospitable and efficient.

Great location. No room views really. Smells old (and not in a good way). Jerked us around saying room was not ready to 3:30PM. (Do they reserve rooms just for on-line buyers? Cause room was poor and we made them swithc us. A real pain.

The Grand Lady was luxurious with efficient staff and extremely convenient to many, many amenities, historical sites and restaurants. The "T" was nearby and dinner at the Oak room was well worth the price! Kelly the doorman was most pleasant and helpful as well.

its an old hotel, so they need invest more in pest control. I woke up to find a cockroach in my bathroom. Apart from that, it's a nice place, but quite dated.

Lovely hotel with great people at the front desk. Unfortunately, before you can get to the front desk, you have to get through the valet (who was unavailable until I phoned the front desk from the curb and asked for one and who then came outside to chat with a passerby while I waited by my car). And after checking in with the nice people at the front […] desk, you might have to deal with a bellman (who didn't know how to deal with luggage). Too bad the first people you meet at this lovely hotel don't seem to have any training or any idea about how to behave at a nice hotel. Mehr

for a 4.5 star hotel the Fairmont had unexpectedly poor service. The worst part was a daily 8:15-8:30am knocking of housekeeping. Who wants their room cleaned at 8:15am? This continued for 3 days despite a privacy hanger outside the door on day 2 and despite speaking with the hotel manager prior to day 3.

we had a great time! we were upgraded to the 4th floor private concierge service. we had complimentary breakfast and snacks at 5 pm. the staff is awesome and food yummy. this location cannot be beat!

The hotel is beautiful, its located in a nice area of the city of Boston. The hotel was clean. The elevators are very old, and take time to wait for them (1 was only working at the time). I was staying for a conference at the Boston Convention Center, by the water, all other hotels were booked close to the convention center. It costs over ten dollars one way cab to get to the convention center from the Fairmont. I wouldn't suggest the hotel for another convention go-er. Great location, close to the T, Newbury Street and anything else you'd want to do in Boston. Very nice older property. Comfortable rooms at a very good price for the area.

My only problem is one I find in all hotels. The beds are to firm for me.

While the hotel might not be as modern as some, it is incredibly beautiful with amazing architecture. The staff were lovely and the room very clean. Location was perfect. We will stay again!

I stayed at 4 different hotels within 9 days while in Boston. This one beat all the others hands down!l This was the last one I stayed. Lovely hotel and pet friendly actually has a dog who stays in the lobby during the day as the "good will ambassador". Very quite & comfortable room. Employees provided excellent customer service. If Heaven were a hotel, this would be it! Beautiful in every way, and a dreamy bed, who could ask for more?

This is a great location. The hotel although historic has been updated on the inside. Bathrooms have granite and bed was very comfortable. Most rooms are interior and have windows to the interior. The inside of the hotel is very ornate and gorgeous. Very glad I stayed here instead of a recent generic chain.

I was presently suprised by the hotel lobby and the room. Very nice hotel and will choose Fairmont again.
