Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

Sehr schöne Lage am Broadway, herrlicher Blick von der Terrasse und dem Frühstücksraum zum Timesquare. Alles in direkter Gehweite, aber mit dem notwendigen Abstand zum Trubel. Das Frühstück ist teuer, wir bekamen aber Vouchers, weil unser Zimmer nicht ganz sauber war (Matraze/Bett wurde 2x, aber dafür sehr professionell und freundlich gereinigt. Deshalb […] und wegen der Vouchers geben wir dennoch eine Empfehlung, würden auch jederzeit wieder dort buchen). Wer will, findet im Starbucks gegenüber oder im McDonalds im Erdgeschoss auch günstigere Frühstücksmöglichkeiten. Zum Abendessen unbedingt auf der Ecke gegenüber ins "Ellens Stardust Diner" gehen, neben dem Essen sind die singenden Bedienungen eine Attraktion. Angeblich warten alle auf ihre Chance am Broadway, von den Singqualitäten aller ist das nicht unrealistisch. Mehr

Das Novotel ist ein außerordentliches schönes Hotel mit einem sehr freundlichen Personal. Es liegt super zentral und bietet mit seiner tollen Lobby, dem großen Bar/Loungebereich und dem sagenhaften Ausblick vom Frühstück/Dinnerbereich eine ganz besondere Atmophäre. Während des sehr guten Frühstücksbuffetts oder Abendessen hat man durch die imposante […] Glasfront einen tollen Blick auf den Times Square. Zum Rockefeller und Central Garden sind es 10 Minuten Wir waren dort 1 Woche (16.04-23.04.2011) mit unserem Sohn (13 J.) und konnen das Hotel wirklich sehr empfehlen. Mehr

"Novotel Times Square"
Wir waren vom 4. - 11. Februar im Novotel zu Gast. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, sehr stylisch eingerichtet, (großes Kingsize Bett. Bad mit großer Dusche), sehr sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Hatten eine Zimmer in 21. Stock mit seitlichen Blick auf den Times Square. Die Fenster lassen sich öffnen und die Lärmdämmung ist ausreichend. Ganz leise […] wird es zwar nie, das hat uns aber nicht gestört! Das Hotel liegt direkt am Broadway. Man kann zu Fuss fast alles erreichen (Central Park ca. 10min, Empire State 10min, Rockefeller Center 5min, 5 Ave. 5 min, etc.) oder links oder rechts innerhalb von 200 m die U-Bahn erreichen. Die Gastronomie können wir nicht bewerten, da wir auswärts gegessen haben. Restaurants, deli's, etc. befinden sich zahlreich in unmittelbarer Umgebung - sehr zum Empfhelen sind da die 46th St. die Restaurant Row und die 9 th Ave wo ein Lokal neben dem Anderen ist. Kann das Hotel nur empfehlen, Preis-Leistung stimmen perfekt! Beim nächsten New York Besuch werden wir es wieder buchen. Mehr

"Ideal für eine Stadterkundung"
Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich erstklassig (direkt am Times Square, U-Bahn in der Nähe). Leider kostet es auch entsprechend. Aber da muss man halt Prioritäten setzen. Für einen Besuch in NYC lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ein Hotel im Zentrum (besonders, wenn man nur ein paar tage Zeit hat). Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. "Geniale Lage in New York"
Das Novotel liegt um´s Eck vom Times Square und nur 3 Blocks entfernt von der 5th Avenue. Daher der beste Ausgangspunkt für alle Ziele in Manhatten. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind nicht übermässig groß und auch schon ein paar Jährchen alt aber dafür mit super Ausblick (wir waren im 26. Stock und hatten seitlichen Blick auf den Times […] Square). Internet ist im Zimmer leider kostenpflichtig, dafür gibt es im 1. Stock drei PCs mit Internetzugang zur freien Benützung. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten NY Trip bestimmt wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Mehr

"Right 'on top' of Times Square"
Very well situated hotel. Service (for NYC) was very good. Parking close by, and at 30USD per 24hrs not too expensive considering location. The view from the bar/balcony/restaurant is great. A renovation of the bathrooms would be good, but overall a good price/quality solution at a great location with a super view from the terrace.

Excellent location, but tucked away just far enough from the mad crowds of Time Square up on 52nd St and Broadway. Very romantic location, with an excellent sky deck overlooking Times Square on the 7th floor. Will definitely return to this establishment for our future NYC holidays.

We have just returned from a long Easter weekend in New York, with our 12 year old son. Our trip was amazing from start to finish. New York is such a wonderful city and the location of the Novotel is ideal to maximise the enjoyment of a short stay. With its central mid-town location on Times Square, easy walking distance to Central Park, the Riockefeller […] Center, 42nd Street, 5th Avenue, and many more of the must see attractions, we would absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and relaxed.. If anything, our particular room was slightly small by American hotel standards, with just the one kingsize bed, and a sofa bed for our son (rather than the two kingsize beds available in other rooms), However, in a city like New York it was not our intention to spend too much time in there. Awesome location...within walking distance to many attractions. Clean and comfort of our room but a bit of noisy due to facing broadway stripe at the lower floor.
"Our weekend in New York"
We arrived at our hotel after a 13hr flight from Australia. We struggled inside with our bags as no one came to help us. After checking in we struggled again to our room with our baggage. I was lead to believe this was a 5 star hotel when I booked the accommodation. My partner and I did not receive any service whatsoever in the time we spent there. […] We enjoyed our stay immensely in the city. The location was excellent. We walked to a lot of attractions we wanted to see. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in our room in the morning and evenings instead of paying $5 a cup through room service. Wi Fi is $10 per day!! We struggled out into the street again when we left without so much as a goodbye!! We will not be staying there next time we visit New York. Mehr

"Excellent Hotel"
We stayed here early March and loved it. The staff were wonderful, the concierge took time to educate us on the happening 'it' spots at night and took care of any necessary reservations required. Room was clean and decent size, bathroom the same, plenty of room for 2 girls to get ready to go out! Lastly, location is perfect!!! Central to everything […] you may want to do. "Finally a room with a view"
My usual New York hotel view is a wall. From here I could actually see the billboards and lights of Times Square without the noise. The hotel is beautiful and feels luxurious without being over the top. Everyoneimet on staff was great. My room wasn't sparkling clean, but I don't hold that against them. Still loved my stay, but I did feel a bit like […] it was a 2 and a half for my room cleaning after I got there. Just inconsistent, but didn't make me feel uncomfortable. "FIne hotel, but not exciting"
Very comfortable and clean. Good service. My only complaints, and they are minor, are that the hotel is not directly accessible from the street -one must take an elevator to the "lobby" level and this, I believe, has an affect on the hotel bar - which is sadly dead and uninviting.

"Like the location"
Located just next to Times Square , not to far away! Very Convenient while touring the city.
Great hotel location, beautiful views of Times Square, very close to all attractions New York has to offer. Tourist buses were just around the corner as well as convenience stores which were open 24 hours. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York especially for the first time. Bathrooms were a little bit outdated but trust me in New york […] you don't spend too much time in your room there is so much to see and do. Just a little tip there is an italian restaurant around the corner which does a buffet breakfast for around $10 per person Mehr

"Novotel Times Sq NYC perfect"
This is the ideal hotel for Times Sq. We asked for a skyscraper view room and it was fab, 33rd floor. Room was clean and tidy. Was tidied up every day. Overall loved the place and would stay again.

WOW, what a location right in the heart of New York City!!! Right next to all the broadway theatres, plenty of shopping and food right at your doorstep!!! "Novotel New York"
We enjoyed staying at the hotel because it was close to everything. There is a subway stop that is one block away and it was easy to make our way around Manhattan from there. The hotel room was nice and clean. However, the bed was a little uncomfortable and hard. I think they keep every room on the same temperature because the room never got cool enough […] for our comfort level to sleep. We spoke to the front desk about it, but I am not sure if anything was ever done because we never noticed a difference in temperature. Overall for the price of the room we did enjoy our stay. Mehr

Nothing special about this place, which seemed to be the French equivalent of the big US chains like Holiday Inn and Marriott. Good location and clean rooms, but no charm at all. You likely will find something that's more of a NY experience for the same price or just a bit more.

This hotel gets an 9 out of 10 for the staff. The room on the other hand gets a 2. The room was very small, not like what was seen in the online add. I am 6'2" and my feet hung over the edge of the bed at least a foot. The pillows were very thin and hard as a rock. I had 3 restless nights sleep which negatively effected my stay in New York. When asked […] for a softer Feather (not foam), I was brought another thin hard foam pillow. I do not recommend this Hotel for anyone trying to get a good nights sleep. Mehr

At first I thought the hotel was a step down from what I am used to, but after the first few hours, I really enjoyed it! Lots of foreign guests, many were French and lovely. The breakfast buffet is fabulous! Our room was very large. A good value.

"Right in the heart of it all."
Excellent location for nearly all the sights especially Times Square. Had a problem with the bedding on arrival and had to ask for the bedding to be changed and the silicone around the bath was mouldy but otherwise the rest of the room was clean. Surprised to find they dont supply tea making facilities in the rooms. You could use room service but it […] gets expensive just for a morning or evening cuppa. Breakfast was ok and bar snacks not bad. Not much choice though. Cheaper diners within easy walking distance. Staff friendly enough especially the barman. Get a room as high up as you can due to the street noise but be aware, the lifts are temperamantal and some days we waited 25 minutes for a lift down from the 28th floor.
