The most accommodating staff ever! Although the hotel could use some updating, this works for me. Great full breakfast. Convenient location. Would rather have a more comfortable bed, but not a deal breaker.

Hotel is substandard for being an Embasdy suits hotel, minimal indoors landscaping rooms outdated and a very simplistic breakfast. Too expensive for what it is better stay down town for 10-20 bucks more

Hotel was acceptable and the stay was satisfactory, but the hotel needs updating. There are too many newer and nicer hotels available to stay in an older unit that hasn't been updated for the same price. Stayed in s non-smoking room that had a strong cigarette odor. I picked this hotel as it was close to the airport. Some of the rooms over look a major highway, but there was no noise in the room. There is a great work area, eventhough they charge you for wifi. Room was a nice size and had to TVs in each room. Very nice staff and breakfest. Be aware there are TWO Embassy Suites close to the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was awesome--eggs cooked to order, oatmeal, cereal, etc., anything you could want for breakfast. However, the rugs in our room needed to be shampooed. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly stay there again.

The pool made all my kids eyes burn, not sure how, since it was saltwater. We stayed at ES on the Riverwalk the night before, and it was definitely worth the extra money. If I was flying out early or coming in late, I'd stay here, but otherwise I'd make the trip downtown. The hotel looked and smelt run down. Comfortable but needs some updating

The breakfast was great for my family of three so we didnt have to go else where. The room had a musky smell that never went away. The carpets were not very clean they actually felt damp. I just never walked in the room bare footed

The rooms carpet was very bad and even though I get smoking rooms it had a overwhelming Cig. Oder.

It wasn't what was advertise on line pictures were very deceiving This has very disappointing I have had better stay at la qinta inn . The rooms were to small the couch had stain on it the mattress on the couch in both the rooms I got looked like the were from the 80s and they falt that way to the mattress on those thing were flat and very unconfertable […] and the pool on man was the worst I have ever see I took one. Look and went rigth back up to my room the smell of the clorine burned our eyes as soon as we open the door . Needles to say that for what I payed fir those room it was not worth it never again that what I have to say Mehr

The hotel staff was EXCELLANT!!! The the rooms are extremely out-dated and need to be remodeled. I have always enjoyed the hotel acommodations at Embassy Suites, but I was truly disappointed with the decor of this location.

The hotel was nice. Room was very large and comfortable. Clean for the most part. I feel the carpets could have been cleaner and also around the bottom of the toliet . There were a couple of nights where they cleaned the room but did ot leave towels....however all it took was a phone call and they were always right at our service. Breakfast was good […] and happy hour was nice also. We will be back. The suites are wonderful having the kids in one room and the adults in another room. Very spacious. Mehr

I have stayed here many times and it still one of my favorite hotels in San Antonio..The staff are above average, very competent, and possess a wonderful attitude..Everyone was very friendly.. The hotel is beginning to show it's age and could use some updating such as some of the furniture and the TV sets are not HD.

This hotel was very convenient. They have a cook to order breakfast which is really nice. They don't have complimentary wireless internet so be prepared to pay to use it. The rooms were pretty nice..decent space. I'd say its a little bit above average.

We always try to stay at an Embassy Suites if we can. Always top notch. Love the breakfast (you save a bundle) and the happy hour too. Can't wait to return.

my wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary.All aspects(service, cleanliness, convenience to sites, etc) were outstandng. Have stayed in Embassey Suites all around country and have always been pleased. This was no exception.

We booked this hotel at the last minute based on the online reviews and price, and I honestly did not have a great experience there. My main issue was the cleanliness of the room. We were walking around in our socks and they were black within 30 minutes, so the carpets are obviously not cleaned very much. We had to wear flip-flops to avoid the grime […] getting on our feet, and that is just unacceptable. The shower had someone else's hair on the wall, and the toilet was hard to flush, as it was a button and not a handle. The swimming pool was clean enough, but the overpowering smell of chlorine/bleach left us teary-eyed within minutes. They did have towels available that were clean and easy to reach when wet. The other issue we had was a wedding reception was going on in the lobby, so we had to listen to mariachi music until almost 10 pm. I know the hotel may not have realized there were small children needing to go to bed, but it was difficult that evening. Other than that we were satisfied with the front desk, they immediately took care of us when we came in. The happy hour and breakfast were really great and helpful with a small toddler. Mehr

This is our 4th stay at this hotel and we love to stay there when in San Antonio. It is so handy to all that we like to do. The breakfast they serve each day is super and the Happy hour each evening is very relaxing. All the staff that we came in contact with were very pleasant and helpful when needed. Really nice hotel - would definitely stay here again. Only problem we had was after a long day at Seaworld we came back to find our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. Night housekeeping staff immediately responded with clean towels, glassware and was very apologetic the day shift had overlooked cleaning our room. All other services and facility […] was excellent. The directions via Google ARE confusing, seems there is an easier way to get there (it's RIGHT next to I-410). This was our first stay at Embassy, the atrium is BEAUTIFUL and the room was great, a living room and seperate bedroom. My kiddos had fun on the glass elevators (err, so did I!!). We really made the most of the hotel-- took the kiddos swimming […] after dinner, the indoor pool and hot tub was FANTASTIC. The kiddos slept 2 hours passed the time they usually get up on the weekend! My nephew and I got a chance to go and check out the breakfast offering. YUMM!! Made to order omlets, we both went back for seconds-- spinach, tomatoes and mushroom, highly recommended. Really a great value in this price range. We usually stay with another hotel chain, but I'm looking for an Embassy the next time we travel. We got a great rate and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. Really great for families. Mehr

The hotel was very nice and clean. But, for an Embassy Suites the rooms were a little dated. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were great.

Our room was everything I checked above - "Very Satisfied". We were close to where we had to go every day. Breakfast was helpful, ample and very nice. The staff was helpful as where to eat and in every other way in regard to our inquiries.

Not your fault but located in a bad neighborhood. The weather was perfect for a jog outside but even as a former special forces type I preferred to stay safe and use the treadmill in the exercise room! Thanks!

Yes, except the girl at the counter was not knowlegable about Lackland AFB or how to get there, since this was for my son's graduation. I would figure for such a nice hotel, they would try a bit harder to give you more info.....not just a "map" of the area....I could get more useful info from my GPS!!! Other than that, the place is great, breakfast […] was wonderful......jacuzzi nice, and happy hourr was really nice as well, would definitely stay there again....great value....just getting there is sometimes a pain, so you have to know your way around when u drive..... Oh, I agree, the TVs need to be updated for such a nice hotel....I could not believe they tried to get you to pay for internet service, when most of the hotels in this calibre are FREE. I really stingy item for a Hilton Hotel!!! Come on Perris, loosen up a bit!! Also the carpets need to be steam cleaned.....so bring a pair of flip flops when you walk in the room afer taking a shower!!! EEK! Mehr

We were very impressed with teh condition of the hotel. Great rooms. Bed are very comfortable. Great breakfast and just good environment for the hotel. Would reccomend to anyone. only drawback was the need for flatscreens for TV's but everything else was great.

I needed to be by the airport and booked a stay at the Embassy Suites. Suite was spacious and clean but bed was not comfortable. Good for families who need the extra room.

we had to stay an extra day in San Antonio so desided to stary close to airport. what a great time we had as a lay over. happy people great hotel over and above the call of duty. I drink a a hard to find kind of soda they went down the street and brought me a 12 pack with a smile. great food, great staff great beds 5 star and a 3 star price would stay […] here if we get this way again!!! Always stay at this Embassy because it's usually a 10. Upon entering our room after just checking in, the door was ajar and it smelled of smoke. I made sure no one was in there. We unfolded the couch/bed, and it had a used-balled up sheet. Mostly because of the smell, we were uncomfortable staying in a room that is supposed to be non-smoking. Front […] desk allowed us to change rooms and they sent us a nice snack basket. Following day, they did not replenish our towels, so we had 2 towels to share with 4 people. On day 2, it was 5:00 p.m. and room service had not come to clean the room yet, so we had to leave for the evening since we were told they just had a lot of rooms to clean. I suspect they just didn't have enough staff. Otherwise, Embassy is still my first choice for our family. The pool was nice. It'd be much more inviting, however, if they had more than just one table in there for those parents who wish not to get wet but to watch over their family. Workout room was acceptable. The room could have been a little cooler, but loved the laid back atmosphere of the hotel, enjoyed the evening manager's reception, and breakfast was wonderful even at 10am

Our kids are getting older and we can't fit in a single room anymore. We love the downtown area, but two rooms can get expensive. So we tried out the Embassy Suites. Our kids have stayed there before on school trips and they talked me into it. The "Happy Hours" (I think it's 2 - 2 1/2 hours), the breakfast, and of course the free parking. This was great! […] We have paid 27.00 a night downtown and that adds up quick. Here it's free. The happy hour consisted of free sodas, beer, and mixed drinks. There was also popcorn, mixed nuts, and bread sticks w/sauce. The breakfast was great too. Omelets made to your order. Bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, and oatmeal w/all the toppings. Coffee, juice, milk, cereal. You name it and they had it. Breakfast was served till nine on Friday and 10:30 on Saturday. It was a little chilly out, but who cared with the indoor pool. Did not get to try out the exercise room, but the tread mills did work and I wished I had packed my sneakers. Our room had two double beds. One for me and my wife, the other was for the girls. My wife and I are used to a king, so it was pretty tight. The girls slept good. I asked for a roll-a-way, but the hotel doesn't offer any. My son slept on the sofa sleeper. On the second night he didn't even bother to open it. It was very uncomfortable. They only leave two bath towels in the room, even though we were five. Call down and they will bring up as many towels as you ask for. The hotel was easy to find and not to far from downtown. (Hint: book room for only four people, there is a 20.00 extra person charge.) Rooms are spacious. Bedrooms are very quiet. Living rooms have paper thin walls. TV in living room did not work and was unplugged when we arrived.
