essen, trinken, bar alles ok. service ok im ganzen zufrieden, wir werden wieder kommen. frühstück iv zum prreis zu teuer, sollte pauschal buffet sein

Das Hotel ist ziemlich überteuert was das Frühstück, den Kompfort und die Zimmer betrifft. Die Essensreste und das schmutzige Geschirr werden noch im Speisesaal entsorgt, es ist ständige Unruhe somit im Saal. Wenn die Kellner erkältet sind, arbeiten sie trotzdem und bringen somit die ganzen Bakterien mit an den Tisch der Gäste. Direkt neben dem Hotel […] ist die Zentralstation der Straßenbahn, d.h. quietschende Bremsen ab 05:30 Uhr morgens, alle 7 min. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber gemütlich. Das Badezimmer ähnelt einem 70er Jahre Style. Warm Wasser nur mit Regulieren. Es ist sehr hellhörig, keine Dämmung in den Wänden. Wenn irgendjemand im anderen Zimmer schon ein Glas auf den Tisch stellt, hört man das. Viele Bedienungen sprechen nur ganz wenig Deutsch oder Schweizerisch, man muss oft nachfragen. Der Kaffee und Heißes Wasser wird morgens in Thermoskannen serviert, sodass man alles immer schnell trinken muss, da es sonst schnell kalt wird. Bei Kontinentalem Früstück liegen aufgebackene Croissants schon auf dem Tisch, kleine Marmeladendöschen, Butter und Babybell, der dann schon sehr warm und weich ist. Der Fitnessraum mit Hochwertigen Geräten befindet sich dirket Neben dem Eingang, sodass man dort wie auf dem Präsentierteller ist. Die Hochwertigen Geräte zahlt man natürlich auch mit, obwohl man sie dann doch nicht benutzt. Ich habe während meines Auffenthaltes nicht einen Menschen in dem Fitnessraum gesehen. Das Hotel-Parkhaus kostet auch zusätzlich noch 25 Euro pro Nacht. Ansonsten ist das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Hotel ist auch sehr gemütlich. Was schön ist, ist dass im Badezimmer der Gästezimmer ganz viele Utensilien sind, falls man mal was vergessen hat. Mehr

Das beste am Hotel ist, wie es der Name selber sagt, dass es absolut zentral gelegen ist. Direkt am Hauptbahnhof und gleich beim Niederdörfchen. Mit den besten Zug/Bus/Taxi-Verbindungen kommt man innert kürzester Zeit überall hin. Zu Fuss kann man das Niederdörfchen, die Limmat, den See, die Bahnhofstrasse und vieles weiteres erkunden. Für Zürcher Verhältnisse wohl angemessener Preis. Hilfsbereites Personal. Das hoteleigene Parkhaus ist schwer zu finden und durch Einbahnstrassen sehr schlecht zu erreichen. Dafür ist es sehr ruhig (super Isolierung der Fenster) und die Ausstattung komfortabel. Super zentrale Lage.

Das Eckzimmer zum Bahnhof hin war schön - und laut.

This is a very nice comfortable hotel with good service conveniently located within walking distance of the central railway station and main high street. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and at a good rate and the service exceeded my expectations.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The first two nights in a suite that was very comfortable to share with my friend. The last night alone in an equally comfortable single. The staff were very friendly. The gym was small and but functional, if you don't mind the audience through the windows to the sidewalk (I didn't).

The location is perfect - on the river, close to the train station and shops.

Central Park Plaza is a beautiful small hotel in the heart of Zurich. Approximately 100 meters from the front door of the Zurich train station. I'll be back.

Great central location near the old town, shops and main railway station. Room was a good size although it was next to the service lifts and cleaners room so a little noisy from them but otherwise quiet. Good, but pricey, food in the hotel restaurant. Overall, enjoyed our stay at the Central Plaza.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable at a reasonable price. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous; they made you feel like a valued guest, rather than an inconvenience. Hotel is in the heart of the city, close to the train station, shopping and dining.

the room was small and slightly dated in decor. also the traffic outside was load and i could hear the people underneath my room talking,flushing toilet etc at 4am this is not funny. overall i think for the money i could find a better hotel in the area. on a plus very near train station

Excellent location for train travellers but less convenient for car travellers. Hotel has charm, very good location but breakfast rate is a rip-off.

This is a very good hotel. It is close to the station, main shopping area and restaurants. From the tram stop across the road you can get a tram to all over Zurich including the Zoo. It has a very good and popular bar with music and a very good but expensive restaurant. The Old Town is a short walk away

Stayed there in several times in 2004-2006 and always liked the convenience to the station and the BahnhoffSt, but when I stayed in Dec 2011, I was given a room that was just not as nice as my previous rooms. The floor, furniture, and bathroom just seemed old and tired. I am not sure if I was unlucky this time or lucky the times before but I would ask […] about the specific room before booking. Beautiful hotel...Great location near train station and central part of town along the river. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Excellent piano bar and breakfast. Staff helpful and room very comfortable. One of the best hotels during our tour of Switzerland!!

the service is terrible and the staff is lazy. the room was not clean either. This was really bad experience!

Great hotel. Loved the location and the staff were fantastic. One small hickup in the bar but other wise excellent. Would stay again and reccommend to others.

Great location. Short walk to shopping, dining, and the train station. Clean room, good bathroom, ok bed. Cost of breakfast in the restaurant very high, but the whole city is expensive.

My sister and I stayed at the hotel in April and found it very convenient. We did miss tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were very helpful with currency exchange, luggage storage local information. A big thank to you all Nora (Ireland)

The staff from the front desk to the restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortabl, quiet, and nicely furnished. It was a great location with easy access to public transportation. We would definitely consider staying there again if we return to Zurich.

The Central hotel was very nice and conveniently located as was described. Room was small but beautifully appointed in a contemporary fashion. I thought street noise would be an issue but it was not. Beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating for early arrival.

Lovely setting, across from the train station which was very convenient as we were traveling by down. Near the old area of Zurich and a beautiful river view - - we couldn't have been more pleased.

Great location--right across the street from central train station. Hotel was clean but bed/pillows not very comfortable. Front desk said no concierge & he was not helpful about tours/attractions & had somewhat of an attitude. Easy walking to everything. AC not working. We reported & by 3rd day they were working on it--dont know if they ever fixed. […] OK hotel for the price we got. Mehr

spent just one night in transit .found it very conveniently located.3 mins walk from central railway station.restaurants etc

I booked a STD room, smoking with two separate beds for two adults. None of what I booked was found in the room I first got. Either more coordination is needed between the website and the management, or the hotel service is not that much good.

The hotel was well located clean, with a friendly staff. However the rooms/facilities I would not consider 4 star by US standards.

The Central Plaza is a good and safe choice, just a couple streets from the main train station and not a long walk to everything else. You should expect a small but clean and well-designed room. High-speed Internet is complimentary, and the service was fast and reliable. Overall the hotel's a bit expensive for what you get, but that's Zurich in general, […] and the USD was fairly weak at the time of my visit. Still, I recommend it and would happily stay there again. I like the hotel location and quality of cleanliness but breakfast poor considering other 4 star hotel. The reception staff excellent and very helpfull. Gym too small and not at convinient place may be space problem.

Central Plaza is definitely located in the perfect location. If arriving by train, it is only a short 2 block walk from the station. We had a room with a queen bed on the 4th floor at the back of the building. Don't really need a view of the river if you're going to be gone all day. And it's quieter at night if there during warmer months. Bed was comfortable […] and bathroom was updated and clean. Service was great when we asked for more towels or had questions about booking tours in the area. Right across the street from the famous street with all the shops, restaurants and bars. Staff speaks great english too, so helps when not familiar with German. Defenitely worth the money. If you're used to a Marriot or Hilton hotel in the US, this is a great choice. Mehr

Located across the street from the train station yet also across the street from the old city. Very upscale hotel with hopping bar and lounge off the lobby. Very comfortable room. I recommend it.

Good location

So convenient to everything in central Zurich. Easy to and from Zurich airport. Train Station a 5 minute walk away.

Clearly, the Central Plaza Hotel is a winner! It is located two blocks from the cental railway station, which makes it convenient for reaching the airport, as well as visitng other cities in Switzerland. Our room was average-sized for a European hotel, but contained every amenity: efficient lighting, plenty of mirrors, climate-controlled, space for […] clothing, well-dsigned bathroom, with top-quality toiletries, sound-proof windows. The maid sevice maintained the room as one would maintain one's own home. Breakfaast was included in the room rate, and was plentiful and delicious. It included croissants, rolls, breads, eggs, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, jams, and the like. And they called this a continental breakfast! Hotel clerks were especially helpful, in suggesting methods of travel around the city, restaurants, tourist sites. When requested, one clerk reseached available programs for opera, ballet, and concerts. The Central Plaza Hotel merits a four-star rating and we would stay there in the future. Mehr
