lobby ( as everywehere..) is very nice, Pool area too.. very friendly staff , convinient location BUT BUT BUT : room must have been very modern in the 70 ' s unfortunatly nothing happened since .... very expensive for such an old room / bathroom !!

have to pay for parking/resort fee; decor looks dated, but room was very comfortable. walking distance to shops and restaurants. pool looks nice and clean, but didn't have a chance to enjoy it.

Most staff were rude... excluding the pool staff. The pool is clean, huge and fantastic. Hotel is dirty and run down, smells of old building and wet dirty carpet... yuck! Need to update their amenities and decor and signage. Fresh carpet, paint and staff would make a big difference. Honestly, the pool is the only thing saving this rating from a total […] zero. Mehr

The $14.00 a day "resort fee" was a surprise and should have been disclosed by Hotels.com and it effectively simply raised the room price per day by that amount. The facility and people working the hotel were very friendly and attentive.

The hotel it's self was very nice. The staff was very slow (restaurant, valet, baggage check). It was like they had 1 person who did everything.

We loved staying at the Hilton....comfortable bed/room and remarkably clean and fresh....the pool was inviting and the reception for happy hour was so friendly...we most certainly will recommend your establishment and we hope to return once again, before going home to Canada in the spring...thank you so much!!

The hotel was in a good location however the rooms we're as nice as i'd expect for the price. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for half the price.

The hotel was very nice. Nice pool. Comfortable beds but the walls are paper thin and you and you. An hear your neighbors. Next door and above. Difficult to sleep.

the hilton hotel stay at this location was verry, very sad. our room was plain, dull and dark. it was suppose to be a Christmas getaway but we were left unsatisfied...we will not return to this location. we do look forward to other Hilton stays.

Walk to everything and a casino right next door!!

This is not a resort so don't become a fool. It is an old Hilton Hotel which is more like a motel. The carpets gave a bad odor. The only thing good about this Hilton is the location to downtown which is within walking distance and very convenient.

Location: Pleasant and short walk to downtown shops and Starbucks, along Palm Canyon. Dining: Several people advised we could do a lot better than the Hilton for dining, but my wife and I found it more than adequate for our arrival dinner and two lunches (although we only had sandwiches) and a breakfast or two. Did not have any dinner-type meals. Pool […] and sun: Inner courtyard and pool are immaculate (didn't get a chance to use them, however). Staff: Extremely pleasant and helpful. Room: Really comfortable beds. The window covering for the deck doors is shutters that slide out of the way. They don't keep out all outside light, and I prefer a dark room for sleeping. The rooms are not terribly well sound-proofed. Could hear hallway conversations well into the early morning hours, as if they were standing in the entry to our room. Also could hear noisy and exuberant children screaming at each other next door and bouncing on the bed (too early in the morning and too late at night). Bottom line: Overall a 4, but I wouldn't stay there again unless the rooms are soundproofed. Mehr

I love this Hilton. I’ve been there three times and each time they are wonderful to me and my dog Duke. Not only are they priced very well, but the rooms are luxurious and they don’t put you in a dog smelly room if you have a dog. The food was inexpensive and there were a few great vegetarian choices. This is an older Hilton that has been kept very nicely. The King room was very spacious and clean, overlooking the pool. There is a bar and restaurant on the property and the staff was very helpful. It is a perfect downtown location where you can walk to many restaurants, the SPA Resort and Casino, and shopping. We would definitely stay there again […] . Mehr

Our stay was perfect, we loved the location, the hotel is about a block or two away from downtown. The beds were pretty comfortable and the staff is nice and helpful. I liked that the hotel doesn't charge a resort fee for a ridiculous amount, the only extra charge that I paid was a mere 10 dollars which covered the parking and the resort fee, which […] compared to other hotels is quite cheap. The only downside is that the rooms are too close to each other and the walls are very thin so you can hear the people next door talking. Our neighbors weren't that loud so it wasn't a real issue for us. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. For the price, the location, and the comfort I would definitely recommend it. Mehr

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The linens are good quality. The room was large with a separate vanity/dressing area. The bathroom was adequate. The location is close to restaurants and shops on Palm Drive and accross the street from the Spa Casino. The pool/jacuzzi area is very nice. The lobby is large with restaurant and bar attached. The service […] was friendly. The one problem that will be fixed next year is the TV reception is awful. Hiltons can be hit or miss, this one was somewhere in between. The rooms were pretty dated, we even had cracks on our ceiling and walls. The shower was clogged, but the area is great! Right downtown!

This hotel is well past it's prime and it shows. Everything about it is tired and faded. We were there in early October so there were very few guests which made the place seem deserted. Rooms are just adequate - bed was very uncomfortable but the room was huge so lots of empty space. Balcony overlooked the parking lot. Location is very close to downtown […] so you can easily walk to restaurants. Staff were extremely friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are staying in Palm Springs for any length of time. Mehr

The hotel is excellent the service outstanding

The pool area and surrounding neighbor hood was very nice. However, the walls and ceiling in this hotel are paper thin. Could not sleep at all, heard footsteps all night from all directrions. I wouldn't stay here if you like quite rooms like I do. The bar is way outdated too.

greeted with courteous staff, easy check in and out, comfortable bed. couple of issues i had were the parking and very sensitive room keycard - kept on deactivating. but overall, i had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful in every regard except one.. That "Resort Fee." If not for that, which I did find was mentioned before I booked, but absolutely wasn't obvious...

We always stay with Hiltons when we travel. We spent one night at the Hilton Palm Springs and never again. The rooms were full of parties, loud noises, running up and down the halls all night. We got no sleep! The hotel provided wrist bands for their pool guests to wear. However, I think we were the only ones with wrist bands. People walking in the […] pool from neigboring hotels. The pool was packed! No chairs! No towels! The pool music was playing Eminem all day. Honestly, it looked like a hang out for all the local gangs! Shocked! Mehr

I have stayed at this Hilton several times, both for pleasure and business. It's in a great location, and parking is very easy (even though you have to pay a "resort" fee). It's only a couple of blocks to downtown Palm Springs, so there's no need to take a car into the "city." The room are clean, however, it seems to look more and more run down over […] the years. The rooms still have the old tube TVs, not flat screens! Carpets look like they haven't been replaced in years. A re-vamp of the carpeting in the rooms and hallways would do wonders for the hotel. All in all, it's a fairly good bargain, however, with so many hotels in Palm Springs, it makes me want to re-consider staying here again when there are so many others. Mehr

Hotel was a good deal, price-wise. Outdated rooms. Carpet needs cleaning and/or replacement. Ants/bugs in room. Private patio area a plus.

1.) They only furnish 2 towels 2.) They charge $ 8.00 to park in their parking lot which is usually full so we paid $ 8.00 a day to park on the street as the lot was full both nights...

Was a bargain but I should have paid more somewhere else. Dining took two hours Saturday night as the hotel was not prepared for an event. Pool was dirty and cloudy, Towels insuffiecent for the size of the pool crowd. Room needed updating, small TV blinds broken on morning sun side of the room. TV in room was small, not many channels. That was the major negative. Hotel lobby could use up-dating. Otherwise, good for the price.

We arrived on Thursday nite and Friday June the 3rd there was a classroom of kids that enjoyed a field day in the pool the kids were great but the pool was not cleaned or clorineded after Friday. The ladies bathroom by the pool was never cleaned and out of hand soap and toilet paper. Location Location Location. Charging as much as they do for a nights stay you would thing they could afford to remodel. The hotel was clean but dated. They area lot of great places to stay that cost less. The location is awesome.

Hotel was walking distance to the major resturant and shops. Very clean service was great.

This hotel is good. Great location as you can easily walk to the main street. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is not probably a new building and this is probably a weakness. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We enjoyed the bed the most. It was quite comfortable.however the tv needs to be updated. That tv looked like it was there since 1995. Other than that the room was fine. The rest of the hotel seems antiquated. It's in serious need of a revamp. The walls in the elevators needed to be washed.
