DAYS INN - Absecon-Atlantic City - Galloway

Days Inn was an OK hotel for an overnight stay after being at AC for the evening. The price is bumped up ( about $40 more) for a Saturday night, but still cheaper then on the boardwalk. Don't expect elegance and you'll be happy to save some money.

Not a clean place, bed not comfortable, didn't smell good at all.. We only stayed one night and will never again..

nice for the money, but could be a bit cleaner

The hotel is only 10 minutes from the Atlantic city boardwalk. The place is a dump, service is horrible. Beds are hard but surprisingly the pillows are GREAt! Our shower didn't work. The towels were dirty and hard. I won't stay here again. Stay @ the comfort inn and suites up the road- much better!!!!

Convenient place to stay!! Room was comfortable! Close to A.C.! Nice continental breakfast the next morning!! Only 1 small garbage can in the room... Bathroom could've been cleaner

On this stretch of Route 30 there are many hotels to choose from. In the future I would choose another hotel. The rooms are mediocre at best. Needs an update on the decor. Not filthy, but not spotless either.

Bed was comfortable.room was fairly quiet and the price was fair.

SUBSTANDARD HOUSEKEEPING !! Upon arrival we were upset to find a used washcloth hanging from the shower curtain bar. A provided "clean" washcloth was adorned with black mascara with blue & purple eye makeup from a previous user. The toilet bowl had not experienced a scrub brush in a considerable period of time as evidenced by waste stains of a previous […] user; mold on the bowl consistent with the water level; and rust stains. The carpeting under the bed had a grayish cast due to an approximately 1/16 inch layer of dust and the bedpost floor coasters were filthy. There was evidence of dried food on the interior & exterior of the microwave. The security chain was not securely fastened to the door frame and was of dubious value from a security standpoint. There are other hotels within this price point that offer similar amenities and higher housekeeping standards. For those reasons, I do not recommend this hotel. Mehr

Just the smell in the room. Steam clean the rugs a little.

Served its purpose, close to Atlantic City and easy to get to. Nice hotel yet not fancy if that's what your looking for.

This hotel is okay to stay in I did not see any rodents or pests so that is a plus. It is however 20 minute from Atlantic city and there is a bus that runs from this hotel to Atlantic city that costs $2.10 as of 12/6/2011. This hotel also advertise a free shuttle bus to the Resorts hotel and the shoreline shuttle service runs when and how it wants so […] that is no guarantee. Overall for the price I paid for it I would consider it again. Mehr

The room was clean, warm, quiet with hugh parking lot as well. I did not get to eat breakfast but would like to one day. overall, it was nice place to sleep and will definatly recommend to my friends

The only changes would be if the towels and cloths were more clean...and maybe a better continental breakfast. Overall, it was a decent and peaceful stay.

The main issue that I have with this hotel is it's location. It is not easy to get to if you are coming out of Atlantic city. You have to go out of your way to turn around to get back to the hotel. I found someone else's shoe in the room so it's obvious that the maid didn't do a great job cleaning the room. The bedding seemed clean and it's a decent […] place to just sleep if you're going to AC for a day trip or something. The toilet seemed like it wass really old and unsturdy. The faucet was a guessing game on which way to turn the handle to get hot water, which took a long time to get hot. I wouldn't suggest this hotel for a long term stay. Mehr

Location to AC favorable but that is all. Old rooms, needed vacuuming badly, comforters dirty.

Close proximity to Atlantic City and very affordable expecially considering a holiday weekend stay. Clean, spacious and comfortable - not luxiourous but all the necessities and friendly staff.

The room has a stench!! Guest service was very rude!

You get what you pay for...

While the attendant was nice and the location was convenient, the room was very dirty. There were pieces of the ceiling falling. The bath tub obviously had a huge crack that had been covered with a very thin material. I was scared to move in the shower, afraid I might fall through. The shower curtain was dirty; there was shaved hair and mildew. There […] were large pieces of trash on the already filthy carpet. The remote control to the television did not work. We had to get an iron from the front desk, no ironing board by the way, and the first iron did not work. The toilet was dirty. The room looked as if it had never been cleaned. It was nice to be offered breakfast. Most hotels dont offer anything except coffee. Its convenient to have frig and microwave in rooms as well. The pool was a nice bonus . Overall I enjoyed my stay and wouldnt mind staying there again.

The whole room needs to be remodeled, especially the bathrooms. You start to think trouble when you see that the smoke detector has been detatched. The tv remote control didnt have batteries so you had to get up and manually turn the tv on and off and change the channels. They sheets on the bed had small stains. Was satisfied with the stay, room was clean. If I need to go back I will book this hotel again. One night this room is perfect..

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know the horrible condition this room was in. There are several items that required attention: Rusted features (powder room area); TV remote had no batteries, however the clerk replaced them and the remote still did not work; furniture was soiled/stained; it was a non-smoking room, however smelt like […] smoke; blanket on the bed was soiled/stained; several of the towels were terribly soiled/stained; toilet bowl was stained/soiled. I spent 25 years in the military and stayedat the Days Inn numerous times however this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and this room made me feel very dirty. I slept on top of the comforter. For a 2 star rated hotel it should be a 0 rating. Mehr

For a one night stay it filled our needs. It was clean, the staff was friendly. An easy drive into Atlantic City.

Inicialy I was given room #108 and It was dirty. It had dirty on the walls and floor. the safe was so dusty it looked like it wasn't cleaned it ages. Floors and bathroom were dirty and nasty. Bathroom door doornab was broken and falling off. Bed conforter were old and colors were faded. There was a blood stain in them. Lamp shades were broken. I asked […] for another room and was I given another one that wasn't as bad. But why would you treat me this way. I was paying with american money and it was no bargain. my first impresion when I walked inside the room was that the carpet was not vacuumed and the bottom of the headboard (at the floor) was very dusty. The bathroom door needs maintenance...the door was not closing properly and was squeeking. Behind the bathroom door the floor was dirty....looked like it had not been mopped. Don't waste your money this place was a joke

great deal on a one night stay. i was pleased with service and overall cleanliness of room. we were stopping over on our way to the beach and needed a clean place to stay overnight. desk clerk was friendly. convenient location. no bells or whistles but clean room, clean beds etc. would stay again.

this place was not bad for what it was a place to sleep (if your going out partying in AC). it does have a pool and it was clean. staff was knowledgeable and friendly. the only thing that was weird and it doesnt show in the picture is that there is a Indian restaurant in FRONT of it! when we pulled up we laughed and i went in to check in and surprisingly […] it DIDN'T smell. sigh of relief. Was in apinch as had tickets for aconcert at an Atlantic City casino and was not going to spend 360.00 for an overnite sleepover,so decided to take this path.Not the location was any problem but the builing is old and pretty dirty. The hotel is ok for the price, but needs improvement. No fruits in the breakfast, just cereals, baggel, bread and muffins. The bed was so hard. I've been with back pain. The space in the breakfast area is a little bit small. The pool is small also. They have just indian restaurant with no american food.

The location of the INN was convenient, but it was way too expensive for the kind of hotel it was. It looked very nasty and the room was disgusting. It wasn't clean it all and there stains all over the bed sheets. I would not recommend this to anyone and there are way better hotels in the same area.

I made the reservation at the very last minute because it was a very last minute decision to go to Atlantic City and stay overnight. It was difficult finding a place for my daughter and I to stay, at a reasonable rate, just for the night. When I found the Days Inn on Hotels.com, although it wasn't the cheapest, it did seem to be the "best" option for […] us. I was NOT disappointed. You have to remember that you are in a shore town so there are some negatives including the normal smells & water "issues" BUT---the room was clean, the staff was pleasant---the breakfast was plentiful AND on top of that, you get a discount to Denny's & Pizza Hut and there is a bus that will take you to & from a casino for a small fee but the fee includes some "benefits". Wawa was across the street as well. All in all I was pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. I just wish it didn't cost as much but, it WAS a Saturday night. Mehr

This was a very nice place to stay if you're going to a concert or event in AC. The staff was professional and accommodating. The breakfast was standard. It did the trick! The shower wasn't that great though.

An inexpensive place to stay that is fine if you're on business or going to gamble in Atlantic City. The staff are all very nice and courteous. Rooms have safe, microwave and fridge. Pool appeared clean.There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations in the area.
